"Are ya sure you can't make it??".

Rainbow pouted, though Applejack couldn't see it over the phone.

Yeah. Ah'm sorry RD. Ah won't be hope for quite some time now. Probably not fir a few days. If ah could get home faster ah would. You know that.

Rainbow wrapped her arm around herself. She placed a hand gently on her waist, fiddling with her shirt.

"Oh. Okay then. I miss you".

Ah miss you more. You have no idea how much ah wanna see you right now but....

"I know", Rainbow said sadly. She sighed. "I know. You're busy with the meetings and stuff. Plus, you're with your family too. I get it".

Rainbow heard Applejack sigh. She felt her heart sink.

Okay. Let me catch you guys uo on what's going on. Applejack is the heir of her family company. And that means she has to go to meetings and travel places to make deals and stuff with important people with her dad.

It was New Years and tonight the two had planned on being together at their annual party that they had with their friends. But Applejack had to leave a few days prior for something. So she was gunna spend New years with her family. Rainbow was trying not to sound dissappointed but she was obviously failing.

You know ah would be there with ya if ah could. Ah promise you, as soon as ah can, ah'll be there.

Rainbow nodded, even though Applejack couldn't see her.

"Okay".

Ah gotta go. But ah'll see you soon. Alright??.

"Alright. Love you".

Ah love you more. Bye.

"Bye".

Rainbow Dash hung up. She tossed her phone on the bed and laid back. She stared up at the ceiling.

"Just perfect", she mumbled.

Rainbow was really looking foward to the Midnight kiss they would have had if Applejack was going. But that'll just have to wait till next year.

Rainbow suddenly heard her phone ring. Her ring tone was loud. She reached up blindly grabbing around for it. She felt it and picked it up.

Rainbow answered in a monotone voice.

"I'm sorry. The person you are trying to reach is not available. Please try again or leave a message after-".

"Nice try Rainbow Dash. You still picked up the phone".

Rainbow sighed. "Dang it. What??".

"Did you talk to Applejack yet??".

"Yeah. She won't be coming back for a few days".

"I'm sorry Rainbow Dash. I know how busy she's been with her company lately".

Rainbow shrugged. "Yeah. I know. But it's cool".

"You still coming to the party right??".

"I don't feel like going anywhere. Won't be much fun anyway".

"Rainbow. You're going. End of story".

Rainbow rolled her eyes.

"No, I'm not. I'm gunna chill here tonight with Tank. Probably have a drink or two".

"You're not allowed to drink alcohol".

"Oh yeah??", Rainbow said challengingly. "And who's gunna stop me??".

"When we get our hands on you........ bye".

The phone hung up. Rainbow looked at the screen in confusion.

"What the.....".

Rainbow shrugged and tossed her phone aside. She rolled over on her stomach. The teen closed her eyes. She decided a nap was needed to shake off her sadness.

Rainbow's eyes shot open. She was being beaten by pillows. She was smacked in the head with one.

"Hey!!", she yelled.

The beating stopped. Rainbow groaned and sat up, rubbing the sleep out of her eyes.

She looked up and saw the girls standing there.

"What are you doing my apartment??", she asked.

Twilight held up a key. Rainbow crossed her arms.

"I shouldn't have given you guys spare keys", she grumbled. "What do you want??".

Twilight placed her hands on her hips.

"You told me you weren't going to the party tonight and you were gunna stay here and drink".

Rainbow laughed. "I didn't mean it. I'm not gunna drink. Applejack would kill me".

Rainbow smirked at the girls.

"I don't know what I was thinking".

"So, you're going??", Rarity asked.

Rainbow looked at them confused.

"Wait what??".

Rainbow shook her head. "Nonono. I said I'm not gunna drink. I didn't say I changed my mind about not going to the party".

Rainbow crossed her arms. The girls looked at eachother then at Rainbow Dash.

"You're going", Rarity stated.

"Nope".

"Yes. You. Are".

Rarity and Rainbow were glaring at eachother.

"We'll do this the easy way", Rarity said. "Or the hard way".

Rainbow raised an eyebrow.

"What's the hard way??", she asked.

"Say no one more time and you'll find out", Rarity said, smirking.

Rainbow held her ground.

"I don't want to go to the party and you guys can't make me. What are you gunna do??. Kidnap me??".

Rarity stared at her for a moment.

"Get her girls".

Rainbow struggled against the bonds.

"You guys are insane!!".

They actually kidnapped her. Well, to be specific, the girls had grabbed her and dragged her to the bathroom. There, they basically tore her clothes off and forced her to take a shower. She put up quite a fight so Rarity had to use her magic and chain her to the shower.

The only reason Rainbow didn't scream rape or something crazy was because, hello, they're her friends. They can do this and not feel weird seeing her nude.

They showered her themselves, much to Rainbow's discomfort. She screamed and yelled at them and cursed them out.

The only thing they said was, "we're doing this because we want to see you have a good time tonight and not stuck inside here for New Years Eve".

The girls forced her to get dressed. At this point, Rainbow was fighting them because she was sick of being dragged and shoved and manhandled everywhere in her own home by her own friends. The girls got her dressed. Rainbow was not happy about having to be chained to the floor by her wrist and ankle and having her friends dress her like a child.

"You guys are nuts", she said yanking on the chain.

Rarity rolled her eyes, lookimg through her closet.

"Well we don't trust you not to try and escape. You're going, even if we have to make you", she had said.

The girls dressed her up. They practically held her down as Rarity put on the slightest bit of makeup in her.

Now Rainbow was over their friend Snowflake's shoulder. The big guy had seen the girls dragging Rainbow out of the car and offered to help them. So he threw the girl over his shoulder and carried her towards the house the party would be at.

Rainbow's wrists were tied together by a scarf. She couldn't get free no matter how hard she pulled and twisted.

Finally, she gave up.

"Ugh. You guys suck".

Rarity smirked at her.

"If only you had did as told, you wouldn't be in this situation".

Rainbow shrugged. "What can I say??. I'm stubborn".

"Don't worry Rainbow Dash", Derpy said. "You'll have fun".

The party was a blast. All their friends showed up. Spike, Snowflake, BonBon, Lyra, Derpy, Sunset, Flash and some of his friends from college, and some others. They had the countdown in Manehattan on live tv.

The girls had fun dancing and eating snacks. They all joked around and laughed.

Well, most of them.

Rainbow Dash was a bit awkward. She just didn't feel in the mood. She watched her friends dance, leaning against the wall, a drink of apple cider in hand. She took a sip, glancing out the window.

She did feel pretty tonight, which was rare. But that didn't matter if she couldn't show it off to anyone. The teen looked at her friends dancing and smiling. For some reason she felt awkward and didn't feel like dancing.

She was finally able to get away from her crazy friends and think for a moment. Rainbow stared into space, thinking. She wished Applejack was there. Then maybe she'd be shaken out of her careless state.

But she wasn't there and wouldn't be for a while. Rainbow sighed. She missed Applejack dearly whenever she hadn't leave. It just wasn't the same without her. Rainbow felt lonely.

"Hey".

Rainbow looked up. She saw the girls standing there, looks on their faces. Rarity crossed her arms.

"You're not having fun", she said.

Rainbow shrugged. She looked back out the window.

"Nice observation".

She took another sip. Suddenly the drink was taken from her. She looked up. Pinkie held her drink. The pink haired girl ran off to hide her drink from her. Rainbow crossed her arms. Rarity grabbed her arm and pulled her over to where the real party was going in. The girls started dancing.

"C'mon Rainbow", Twilight said, smiling. "We're at a party".

Rainbow sighed. She tapped her foot to the beat, nodding her head.

"Oh come on", Pinkie said.

Suddenly the music changed. Spanish music started playing. Rainbow smiled. Pinkie took her hands. The two started dancing. It was fun. They were spinning and dancing, their feet moving, hips swaying.

"There we go", Rarity said. "Finally. She's alive".

Rainbow rolled her eyes.

"You're lucky I like Spanish music or else I'd be out", she said.

Hey everyone!!", a voice called.

Everyone stopped dancing. They all looked at a guy in the doorway.

"They're starting the countdown".

Rainbow sighed sadly. She felt a hand in her shoulder. Looking up, she saw Sunset Shimmer. The girl smiled.

"There's always next year's party".

Rainbow folded her arms.

Rainbow sighed. She knew Applejack wasn't gunna come.

The door was opened. People turned and stared.

Rainbow took out a mint, popping it to her mouth boredly.

The crowd parted ways. They smiled, knowing what was going on. They pointed the person in the direction she needed to go.

Rainbow decided that after this, she was gunna go take a walk. She had nothing better to do.

The girls smirked at eachother. Show time.

The girls were suddenly moved aside. They turned the heads and smiled.

Their lips touched as the people around them cheered and hollered. Rainbow was in shock. Applejack was here. Rainbow Dash kissed back, wrapping her arms around her neck.
So this is why the girls went through so much trouble to bring her here. Applejack came early.

The girls watched, smirking. Pinkie was taking a video with her phone.

"Send that to me dear", Rarity said.
"Looks like our work here has paid off".

Rainbow and Applejack finally pulled away. Rainbow smiled. She hugged Applejack tightly.

"I can't believe you're here", she said. "I thought you wouldn't be back for days. How are you-".

Applejack laughed, hugging back.

"Well, ah did say that as soon as ah can, Ah'd come back. Here ah am".

Rainbow looked at her in surprise.

"You lied??".

Applejack smirked. "No. Ah just didn't say when ah just, stretched the truth. Plus, ah wasn't about ta let New Years Eve go by without givin mah girlfriend a kiss at midnight. Made it just in time too".

Rainbow giggled. "Yup. Talk about perfect timing. Impressive if you ask me".

Applejack picked her up, spinning. Rainbow laughed. She was put back down. She smiled.

"I'm so happy you're back", she said. "I'm wasn't planning in coming here tonight".

Applejack smiled. "No surprise".

Rainbow shrugged.

"Applejack".

The girls turned around to see their friends. Applejack smiled.

"Hey guys. What's up??".

Rarity rested her arm on Applejack's shoulder.

"Your girlfriend is a pain in the behind".

Applejack raised an eyebrow.

"Speakin of Rainbow".

Applejack looked at Rainbow Dash.

"Ah stopped by the apartment b'fore comin here. Why is there a chain in the bathroom, bathtub, and our room??".

Rainbow rubbed her neck, laughing awkwardly.

"It's a long story".

"We'll explain later", Rarity said, seeing Applejack was still confused.

"For now. Let's party!!".

Rainbow smiled. Applejack took her hand.

"You guys have the weirdest things happen when ah'm not around".

Rainbow laughed. "Let's just say, they forced me to come here".

Applejack didn't question it. She wrapped her arm around Rainbow's waist.

"Is that music ah hear??", she said. "It's saying. Dance with Applejack...... because dammit you two are the cutest couple in the universe".

Rainbow rolled her eyes. She smiled.

"Happy New Year, Applejack".

Applejack wrapped her arms around Rainbow's waist, smiling.

"Happy New year Rainbow".

Suddenly Applejack stopped. "Ah just have a few questions", she said looking at Rainbow's arms.

"What??".

"What the hell happened when ah was gone??. Why are there hand marks on yir arms and wrists. Why do you girls smell like soap and since when does Rainbow wear makeup??".

The girls laughed. Applejack looked at them, confused as ever.

"I'm just glad you're home", Rainbow said, hugging her.

Applejack looked at her, with a raised eyebrow.

"No, fir real. What happened??. Tell me".
