Applejack swore on her life. RAINBOW DASH WAS NOT HUMAN. That girl never cried.

Never. Not once, in the 3 years they had been together had she seen Rainbow Dash cry or come close to tears. She just didn't cry.

Rainbow had been remotely quiet today. She just stay in bed and didn't say much to Applejack other than "Good morning" and "love you" and the occasional shrug and hmm and uhuh. This worried Applejack. What was wrong with her girlfriend??.

She decided to call Rainbow Blitz. Rainbow's brother. She went I to the living room downstairs as the phone rang. It was picked up.

"Hey Applejack. What's up??".

"Hey. Listen. Your sister is weird".

"What's wrong with that??".

Applejack sighed.

"Well. She never cried. Is that somethin ah should be concerned about??. And today, she's been real quiet. Barely said anythin ta me".

Rainbow Blitz sighed.

"How could I have forgotten??".

"Firgotten what??".

"I'll be over there in a bit. We need to talk. Plus, if she Rainbow sees me, then I can talk to her. It'll give her a comforting feel. I'll explain everything. See ya in a few".

Applejack nodded. "Okay. Sure. See ya".

The phone hung up. Applejack looked at her phone. She decided to check on Rainbow. The blonde went upstairs and down the hall. Lookimg into the bedroom, she saw Rainbow reading. She decided not to disturb her and walked away as she walked past the front door she saw someone outside.

Applejack opened the front door. She smiled when she saw Rainbow's older brother standing there. Rainbow Blitz looked just like Rainbow Dash but in a boy version. It was crazy.

"Hey", Applejack said. She let him in.

"Hey Applejack. How ya been??".

"Good. C'mon".

The two walked into the living room. They sat down on the sofa.

"Now", RB said. "Rainbow is depressed right now. She gets quiet when she's really upset".

Applejack raised an eyebrow.

"Okay".

Blitz nodded. "Yeah. Now....... our parents died when we're kids".

Applejack's eyes widened. Her jaw fell open in shock.

"Oh mah gosh. Ah'm so sorry".

Blitz smiled sadly. "It's alright".

He sighed. "Rainbow took it the hardest. She would isolate herself. She would be upset all the time but never cried. Me on the other hand cried a few times. Not gunna lie".

Blitz shrugged. "I did. I cried. But Rainbow".

He rolled his eyes. "She was like a robot. It was like she had no spirit in her. No joy, no laughter, no motivation, nothing. She was gone at 6 years old".

Blitz sighed. "We lived with a few relatives that weren't so nice. For some reason they hated out parents and so they hates us as well".

Blitz chuckled. "Our Aunt and Uncle hated Rainbow because she was just like dad but looked like mom and had the spirit of her too. She's a strong person".

Applejack smiled. Rainbow was strong.

"So that kinda thing takes a tole on children. We lost out parents and today is the anniversary of their death".

Applejack gasped. "Oh mah gosh".

Blitz nodded. "Yup. I'm 18 so that would be 10 years since the accident".

Applejack was silent. Rainbow had been grieving the loss of her parents this whole day and she hadn't known. If she had Rainbow would be with her in bed, hugging and comforting the girl.

"Ah wonder why she didn't tell me about her parents", she said.

"Maybe she didn't want to bring it up", Rainbow Blitz guessed. "She never liked talking about it. After the accident she was never the same. She never cried. She never showed any sign of sadness. She was a happy kid. Or so I thought".

Applejack raised an eyebrow.

"I came home one day to see Rainbow on her bed, staring at a wall. Just staring. She didn't respond to me at all. It freaked me out. She wasn't dead or anything. She just stared. Of coarse that's not normal so I called a friend to come over with his dad who was a psychologist. He talked to her and wad able to get her to wake up. I remember she looked at me. I swear I could see all the pain and sadness in her eyes in that moment".

Blitz sighed and sat back.

"It was heartbreaking. So she started seeing a therapist. It helped her alot. She started to become more happier and what you know as the crazy and loud Rainbow Dash. But she's not really like that".

Applejack gave him a questioning look. Blitz sat up.

"I've come to learn that Rainbow uses her happiness as a form of barrier around herself. To hide from the sadness and the pain from our parents' death. She never really got over it. I mean, who could??. To say be honest, ah think they loved her more than they loved me".

He chuckled.

"Ah'm sure they did. She was mom's little girl and ah was dad's boy. Rainbow had a certain attachment to them that I couldn't and still can't understand".

The two were silent.

"So........ Rainbow is still upset about the death of your parents. But she tries to make it seem like it doesn't bother her as much".

"Exactly. I can read her like an open book but to everyone else, trying to figure her out, is like trying to crack a code of pictures. Nearly impossible".

Applejack felt bad for them both. Losing your parents at a young age ain't easy at all. Then having no one but your sibling to love you is pretty lonely.

"I just miss them".

The two turned their heads. They saw Rainbow Dash standing in the doorway. She took a few steps into the room.

"I miss them every day of my life. Not a day goes by that I don't think about them".

Rainbow crossed her arms. She sniffled.

"I just...... I thought I had to be strong. For the both of us".

"Rain".

Blitz stood up. "Who said you had to be strong??. I'm the one that suppose to be the strong one".

Rainbow sighed. "I saw you cry a few times. You were so upset and stressed out and I saw you were struggling with mom and dad gone".

Rainbow shrugged. "I just thought that I had to be the strong one and that meant no crying. Turn off my emotions. I can't be strong for my brother if I had emotions get in the way".

"Rain", Blitz chuckled. He walked up to his sister.

"Turning off your emotions didn't do you any good. It only made it worse".

Rainbow sighed. "I just wish they didn't have to go".

She blinked rapidly.

"I just miss them".

Rainbow looked at Applejack. She sniffled and looked at the floor.

"I'm sorry I didn't tell you. I didn't mean to worry you. I'm okay".

Applejack gave her a look.

"Babe. Ah know you're lyin. You are not fine".

Rainbow bowed her head.

"I do cry", she said. "Just not in front of anyone".

Applejack wrapped her arms around her.

"Ya know, it's okay ta cry. Nothing wrong with that. Everyone cries".

Rainbow nodded. She sniffled. Tears were gassing over the magenta hued eyes. Applejack kissed her lips.

"It's okay ta cry".

Rainbow nodded, a tear ran down her cheek. She sniffled. As seconds went by, tears ran down her cheeks. She sniffled. Applejack pulled her in tight. Rainbow hugged her, let out a sob.

"I miss my mommy and daddy".

Applejack rubbed her back as dhe cried. She made comforting sounds and gestures.

"Let it all out Rainbow. Just let it out".

Rainbow cried and cried. She cried for all the years she couldn't and didn't cry. She cried for her loss. She cried for her parents that she wanted more than anything at that moment. She cried for everything.

After she was all cried out. She sniffled and pulled away. Applejack wiped a tear away.

"You okay now??. Got it all out??".

Rainbow nodded. "Yeah. Sorry".

Applejack shook her head.

"You lost yir parents at six years old. Don't be sorry fir cryin about that".

Applejack kissed her forehead. "Now. Give yir brother a hug".

Rainbow smiled and looked at her big brother. Blitz reached out and pulled her in for a hug. The two siblings smiled.

"Do you miss them too??", Rainbow asked.

Blitz nodded. "Not a day goes by that I don't miss them. I miss mom's smile snd dad's sense of humor".

Rainbow smiled. "Mom's lullabies and how she smelled. How she always managed to calm let down when I was scared".

Rainbow sighed. She sniffled and closed her eyes.

"I still can't believe they're not coming back. Everyday I wish and wish that I would go to bed and wake up and they would be alive. But ............ it's not a dream".

Blitz shook his head. "No. But they're taking care of us. I know they love us still".

Rainbow smiled. After a minute, her breathing evened out. She haf fallen asleep standing up.

Blitz looked down at his sister. He gently scooped her up. Walking over to Applejack he gave her to the blonde teen.

"I think you what to do with this child", he said grinning.

Applejack smiled. "Thank ya. Fir tellin me. Ah think Rainbow needed that".

Blitz nodded, looking at his sister. He gave her a light kiss on the forehead.

"I love you", he whispered.

Looking at Applejack he said, "Well uh, I better be going".

Applejack smiled. "Stop by whenever. Ah yhink Rainbow would like that".

Blitz nodded. She turned and walked away. He showed himself out. Applejack locked the door. She went upstairs to the bedroom.

Walking in she laid Rainbow Dash under the covers. She tucked her into bed. She changed her clothes and got in as well. She laid down.

Suddenly, Rainbow's eyes opened. She looked at Applejack.

"Hey".

Applejack smiled. "Hi".

"Sorry I cried".

Applejack shook her head.

"Do you feel better??".

Rainbow nodded. "Yeah. Alot better. I think I needed to cry".

Applejack wrapped an arm around her waist.

"Me too".

Rainbow sighed. "Hey uh. Tomorrow me and my brother are gunna go to the cemetery. We always got the day after since they died at midnight".

Applejack nodded.

"Do you want to come with us??".

"Do ya want me to??".

Rainbow nodded. Applejack slipped her hand into Rainbow's.

"Okay then. That's all that matters. Ah'll come".

Rainbow scooted closer. She snuggled into Applejack.

"I love you".

Applejack kissed her head and closed her eyes.

"Ah love you too. Your parents do too ah know that fir a fact".

Rainbow nodded. "I know. You know how I know".

"How??", Applejack asked.

Rainbow sighed. "Cause that was the last thing they said to us in the hospital".

Applejack's eyes widened. She looked at the younger teen. Rainbow was looking at the bed sheets. Applejack ran her thumb over her hand.

"Just know that you're loved. Okay??".

She kissed her forehead. "You're loved".

"I know", Rainbow said quietly.

"I know".
