Applejack looked herself in the mirror. She smiled. The butterflies in her stomach were going nuts.

That's how nervous she was. Tonight she had a date with Rainbow Dash. She had a very speacial night planned for them. She was so excited.

Giving herself a last look she nodded and walked over to her bed. She grabbed her phone off the charger and stuck it in her back pocket. Applejack headed out of her room and downstairs.

Big Mac was in the living room. He smiled when he saw her. Applejack walked up to him.

"How do ah look??", she asked.

The older guy gave her a thumbs up. Applejack hugged her older brother as she always did before leaving the house.

"And don't worry", she said pulling away. She grinned.

"I'll get her back to her house safe an sound. Ah won't firget what mama and papa taught chu on how ta be a gentleman".

Big Mac stuck his tongue out at her who returned. She laughed, taking out a piece of gum, popping it into her mouth. Applejack grabbed her keys and jacket she left.

Applejack looked at the two story building. She took a deep breath and released. Locking her car, she walked up to the front door. She rung the doorbell.

She sighed to calm her nerves. Suddenly the door opened. Rainbow stood there, smiling.

"Hey".

Applejack smiled back.

"Hi".

Rainbow motioned for her to come in.

Applejack entered the house. She smiled at Rainbow Dash. The girl looked so beautiful. She wore a red short sleeved shirt with tights and flats.

"You look beautiful. As always", Applejack said.

Rainbow smiled. "You look amazing yourself. As always".

"So. Ready ta go??", Applejack asked.

Rainbow nodded taking out her phone. She looked at the screen before putting it away in her pocket.

"Yup".

Applejack parked the car. Rainbow gasped. She smiled.

"Where are we??", she said unbuckling her seatbelt. Applejack smiled and got out.

Walking around the car, she opened the car door opened for Rainbow Dash. Rainbow blushed.

"Thanks".

Rainbow looked around. "Is this a park??".

Applejack nodded. She looked around. There were lights lighting up along the pathways, on trees and poles. Applejack locked the car and out her eyes away. She took Rainbow's hand.

"Ready fir a walk in the park??".

Rainbow looked at her hand.

"Ah'll protect ya from anyone that'd tries ta get us at this time of night", Applejack continued.

Rainbow giggled and took her hand. The two girls walked down a path. It was a beautiful night out. The lights created a beautiful glow that was just right. There were clear skies. Crickets were chirping.

Rainbow sighed. "It's beautiful".

Applejack smiled at her.

"Yeah. So, tell me about cha".

Rainbow smiled at her. She thought for a moment.

"Umm let think. I'm 16. My parents died when I was 6. Uhhh I live with my uncle and my big brother. My birthday is December first. I love to play sports. Sports is life".

Applejack laughed. "Oh god. You did not just day that".

Rainbow nodded. "It's true!!. Ball is life!!".

Applejack laughed. "That's the first time ah ever heard a person ah know say that. You're funny".

Rainbow smiled. She turned her head. She gasped. "Look".

They stopped walking. They looked ever at a nearby lake. There were two swans swimming in the moon lite water. Rainbow smiled and continued walking.

"This is nice. I've never been on a date like this before", Rainbow said.

Applejack looked at her surprised. "Really??".

Rainbow nodded. "Really. I've been on "dates" before".

"Why the air quotes round' dates??", Applejack asked.

Rainbow sighed. "They never really felt like dates. The other person was either showing off too much or on their phone the whole time or trying to get into my pants the whole night. That's not how I roll".

Applejack chuckled. "Well. At least ah'm doin somethin right".

Rainbow smiled. Applejack swore her eyes twinkled as bright as the stars. She felt her knees go weak, her heart melt. Man, she must be doing something amazingly right to get this girl. Whatever it was, she better keep it up.

The two girls walked onto a small wooden bridge. They stopped and looked at the swans. Rainbow looked up at the moon. She smiled.

"It's so beautiful", she said.

Applejack looked up at the moon then at Rainbow Dash. She wrapped an arm around her.

"Ah think the moon has some competition then, because the only beautiful thing here is you".

Rainbow leaned her head on Applejack's chest. The blush on her face wasn't noticeable in the moonlight. Thank goodness.

"Tell me about you now", Rainbow said.

Applejack thought.

"Hmm. Ah'm 17. Ah live with mah older brother. Our parents died when ah was seven and mah brother 11".

Rainbow frowned and looked at her.

"I'm sorry".

Applejack grinned. "No worries. We're okay now. Still think about em but we got back in the swing of things sooner ir later. What about you miss 'my parents died when I was five'??. How you handlin it??".

Rainbow shrugged looking out at the water again.

"I don't like talking about it", she said. "I'll tell you about it someday. If you're still here".

Applejack went behind her, wrapping her arms around her waist.

"Coarse ah'll still be here. Don't doubt me".

Rainbow smiled. Applejack kissed her cheek.

"You're so cute".

Rainbow grinned at her.

"Well. You're awesome. Thank you so much for bringing me here. This is the best date I've ever been on".

"It ain't over yet", Applejack said, smirking.

Rainbow looked at her confused. Applejack just grabbed her hand and dragged her off the bridge. The two came out to a clearing. They stopped in the middle of the field. Applejack had them sit down.

"Now lay down on yir back", she said.

Rainbow looked at her weirdly.
Applejack rolled her eyes.

"C'mon".

Rainbow sighed and laid on her back. Applejack did the same. Rainbow gasped.

"Wow".

The stars twinkled in the night sky like diamonds. It was so beautiful. Rainbow smiled.

"This is so cool".

Applejack smiled and made a sound of agreement.

"Sure is".

Rainbow shifted. She laid her head on Applejack's arm. The two just laid there for what seemed like hours, just gazing up at the stars. Suddenly a shooting star shot across the sky.

Rainbow giggled. "Make a wish".

Applejack watched her as she closed her eyes tight. Rainbow's tongue poked out in concentration. It was the cutest thing ever. Rainbow opened her eyes and looked at Applejack.

"Did you make a wish??", she asked.

Applejack nodded.

"Ah made a wish alright".

Rainbow giggled. She sat up. Applejack followed persuit. Rainbow climbed on top of her legs and sat down, staring straight at Applejack.

Applejack smiled at the other teen.

"So", she whispered. "Can ah tell you a secret??".

Rainbow nodded quickly, a grin on her face. Man, she was gunna be the end of Applejack.

"You're the prettiest girl Ah've ever met".

Rainbow blushed profusely. She covered her mouth with her hands, giggling.

"Can I tell you a secret??", she asked.

Applejack nodded.

Rainbow leaned into her ear.

"This is the greatest night of my life".

Applejack smiled at her. Rainbow wrapped her arms around her neck. She poked her nose.

"Boop".

Rainbow giggled like crazy. Man, this girl was a giggly person. Applejack looked up at the stars. She sighed smiling. She looked back at Applejack who was inches away from her. Applejack wrapped her strong arms around her waist. She looked into her eyes, that twinkled like the stars thenselves and brighter.

Applejack leaned in slowly. Rainbow did the same, cupping Applejack's cheeks with her small hands. Their lips met halfway. Applejack knew right then and there that she wanted to be with Rainbow Dash for as long as she could. They pulled away slowly.

The girls looked at eachother. Rainbow smiled shyly. Applejack smiled back.

"Um...... that was...... great... can we do that again??".

Applejack chuckled. "C'mere cutie".

Rainbow leaned in and kissed her again. The two got lost in the moment. It was perfect. The perfect moment. The perfect place. The perfect night. The perfect date.
