Believe

Enjoy. Will be extremely long. Just a heads up. Oh and Merry Christmas Eve!!

Rainbow hummed. She stood up on her tippy toes, her arm reaching up. It was so close. Almost got it.

Suddenly arms wrapped around her waist. She relaxed.

"Huh??".

Rainbow felt a chin on her shoulder. Applejack.

"What are you doin'??", Applejack asked.

Rainbow pouted. She pointed up at a bag of candy canes on the top shelf.

"I want a candy cane but it's too high", she said. "Stop putting things that high. You know we can't all grow as tall as you".

Applejack giggled. "Sorry. You want me ta get it fir you??".

"Would you??".

Applejack smiled. She kissed Rainbow's cheek. Applejack reached up and grabbed the bag of candy. She held it in front of Rainbow Dash.

"Thanks", Rainbow said grinning.

She took the bag from the taller teen. She took a candy cane.

"Want one??", she asked.

"Sure", Applejack said.

Rainbow took out another one. She placed the bag of candy on the kitchen counter and turned around. She smiled at Applejack.

"I love candy canes".

Applejack smiled. "Ah can tell".

Rainbow undid the wrapper and stuck one end in her mouth.

"Guess what", she said.

"What??", Applejack asked.

"Santa's coming soon!!", Rainbow said excitedly.

Her eyes lit up with excitement. She beamed.

"It'll so awesome", she said. "He'll bring the reindeer. He told me that he's thinking of bringing Rudolph with him since it might be foggy that night".

Rainbow Dash took one of Applejqck's hands. She rocked on her feet, grinning. Applejack smiled.

"Well. I can't wait either", she said. "But remember. Santa only comes when you're asleep".

Rainbow rolled her eyes. "Oh please. Mrs.Clauss gave me permission to see him during the night. Sometimes me and him have hot chocolate out on the roof while his reindeer rest".

Applejack raised an eyebrow.

"Yir bein' serious??".

Rainbow nodded. "Yeah. Don't you believe me??".

Applejack's face fall. She looked at weirdly at her girlfriend.

"You actually believe in Santa??", she asked.

Rainbow stopped smiling.

"Uh. Yeah. Because he's real".

Applejack's shoulders fell. She sighed, rubbing her temple.

"RD", she said. "Santa ain't real. You know that".

Rainbow gasped, her magenta eyes widening.

"How can you say that??", she asked.
"Nicholas is as real as you and me. I see him every year on christmas. And no, not those dumb fake mall santas. Those are annoying".

Applejack crossed her tan arms.

"You believe in Santa".

Rainbow crossed her arms as well.

"Yeah. I do".

Applejack let out a breath. She rubbed her neck gently. Might as well play along.

"You must be tired, babe. Take a nap".

Rainbow looked at her, offended.

"Are you saying I'm crazy??".

"No", Asami said. "RD. C'mon".

Applejack led her out of the kitchen. They walked into the living room. The fireplace was flickering with flames. The tv was on, a Christmas movie was playing on low.

The two teens sat down. Applejack reached out and took her hand.

"Babe", she said. "Explain ta me how Santa works".

Rainbow smiled. "Okay. Well. On christmas Eve while we're asleep, Nicholas comes. He parks his sleigh on the roof or in the backyard if needed. Nicholas uses his magic to poof himself into people's houses. He saves the cookies for his elves and puts them in a plastic container in his sack. Then he leaves the toys and poofs back out".

Rainbow shrugged. "Simple".

Applejack sighed. "Rainbow. Santa isn't real".

Rainbow frowned. "Of coarse he is".

"No Rainbow. He's a lie. It's all one big lie".

"Yes, he is".

Applejack sighed again.

"Rainbow. Parents are the real santa. They're the ones who put the presents under the tree an eat the cookies. It's all them".

Rainbow Dash shook her head. "That's not true. I see him every year on christmas. His reindeer are there too. I saw him".

Applejack smiled. "I'm sure you did".

Rainbow knew she didn't believe her.

"I'm not crazy or makmg things up, I swear. I saw him. I've been to his workshop and every thing".

Applejack nodded. "What as it like there??".

Rainbow smiled. She sighed dreamily.

"It's amazing, AJ. There's toys everywhere. There a train set hanging from the ceiling. It runs through the whole workshop. It's warm and full of light. There's alot of rooms. The elves are funny. They let me watch but won't let me touch".

Rainbow made a face.

"I can guess why though so it's no biggie".

Applejack nodded. "That sounds like fun", she said, like a mother talking to a child that has no idea what they're saying. Rainbow realized this.

She deflated a bit, her face falling.

"Don't you believe me??", she asked.

Applejack smiled. She kissed the younger girl on the forehead.

"Ah think you have quite a memory", she said. "Ah love you".

Rainbow pulled away. She sighed. "Love you more".

Rainbow Dash turned and walked away.
----------------------------------------

Applejack walked into the room, two mugs of hot chocolate in her hands. She stopped for a moment. She saw Rainbow Dash looking out their open bedroom window.

"Rainbow??", she called.

Rainbow looked back. She saw Applejack. She quickly looked back out the window. She gasped.

"Wait", she called. "Come back!!".

Rainbow sighed, her shoulders slumping. She brought her head back in.

"You scared them away".

Applejack raised an eyebrow.

"Who??", she called.

"The Christmas pixies", Rainbow replied. "They come here all the time during winter to chat with me. Though they're really jumpy and you scared them off".

Rainbow pouted. Applejack rolled her eyes. She walked up to her.

"Christmas pixies??", she asked.

Rainbow nodded. "Yeah. They come to make sure that the kids in each town still believe in Nicholas".

"Why do ya call him Nicholas?", Applejack asked.

"Because", Rainbow said. "That's his name".

Applejack turned around. She put the two mugs down on the table and turned back around.

"Rainbow. When is this gunna stop??".

Rainbow shrugged. "What??".

Applejack rolled her eyes. She placed her hands on her hips.

"This whole believin in Santa Claus thing. It's crazy an' you sound insane. Seriously??. Pixies??".

Rainbow frowned deeply.

"It's not crazy if I'm telling the truth", she said.

Applejack sighed. "Babe. Come here".

Rainbow walked up to her. Applejack placed her hands on Rainbow's face.

"Santa isn't real", she said sternly.

"Yes he is", Rainbow said back. "Why don't you believe me??. I've seen him".

Applejack shook her head.

"No, Korra. You didn't. You thought you saw him. But you didn't. It's the parents that bring the presents fir their kids. Not some guy in a red suit. It's all a lie".

Rainbow's face hardened. "No. You're the one that's crazy. I know what I'm talking about. You obviously don't have the Christmas spirit".

Rainbow crossed her arms.

"It's obviously affecting the way you think. Nicholas said-".

"ENOUGH WITH NICHOLAS!!", Applejack shouted, making Rainbow jumped.

She had had enough of this nonsense.

"SANTA AINT REAL. NOONE CAN SEE HIM EVEN IF HE WAS. THERE'S NO SUCH THINGS AS SANTA. REINDEERS DON'T FLY. AND THERE'S NO SUCH THING AS CHRISTMAS PIXIES, OKAY??".

Asami's face was red. "And there ain't NO SUCH THING as christmas magic. SO STOP BEING A CRAZY LOON AND BE NORMAL FIR ONCE IN YIR LIFE!!".

Rainbow's 's mouth fell open a bit. Applejack's face fell. Rainbow looked like she had just broken up with her or something. Her face was completely devastating. She stared at Applejack, unable to look away.

"Rainbow", Applejack said. "Ah didn't mean-".

Rainbow quickly turned and walked away. Applejack went after her.

"Rainbow, please wait", she said.

She grabbed Rainbow by her wrist. Rainbow spun around. She ripped her arm away.

"Don't touch me", she said. "I wouldn't want you to catch my craziness and become unnormal like me".

The spectrum haired girl looked away.

"Maybe you're right. Maybe-".

Rainbow sighed. "Maybe Santa isn't real. Maybe there's no such thing as christmas magic or pixies or flying reindeer".

Rainbow looked at Applejack, her magenta eyes completely dull and empty.

"Maybe christmas is all one big lie".

Applejack watched, speechless as her girlfriend walked towards the stairs and went upstairs. She stood there for a moment. What had she done??.
---------------------------------

Applejack sighed. It was christmas Eve and not a word from Rainbow. It was depressing. There was no music playing. They wasn't watching any christmas movies on tv. There was no laughter, no sound. The fireplace was off. By now Rainbow and Applejack would be snuggled up in front of fireplace, a Christmas movie playing and drinking hot chocolate.

Applejack was just sitting on their shared bed, thinking about what she had said to Rainbow a few days ago.

She hurt Rainbow really badly. Applejack felt awful. She didn't mean to snap like that. She didn't mean to snap at Rainbow. She sighed. She would never be able to forget the look on Rainbow's face.

That was all her fault. She made Rainbow upset. She yelled at her. She was the crazy one. All Rainbow was doing was being the innocent minded joyful kid she was. She was being herself and Applejack had yelled at her for something she believed in. How stupid was she??.

Applejack looked around. The bedroom had a few decorations here and there. Rainbow had put them up for her. The teen had basically went against Applejack's orders and did the place up fir christmas.

Applejack didn't mind it a but when she first saw the red blankets. She had even smiled when she saw that all the pillow cases had been changed to Christmas themed red and green.

Applejack loved this side of Rainbow Dash. She was a fun-loving, child like person. Applejack felt her heart sink.

She had ruined that in her. Applejack had probably ruined christmas for her girlfriend. Just great. To be honest, if Applejack could, she'd take it back. Every little thing she said to Rainbow, she'd reverse it and she would have never said those things. They were true, but she still regretted them.

Suddenly there was a knock. Applejack looked up. She looked at the large window that led to a small balcony.

She slowly stood up. She walked over to the balcony. She looked outside. What the heck??.

There was a reindeer on the balcony. Applejack raised an eyebrow. The reindeer was looking at her. It motioned its head. It was like it wanted her to come outside. This was weird. Applejack slowly pushed the glass doors opened.

The blonde teen took a step out onto the balacony. She looked at the reindeer.

"What the heck is a reindeer doin' on our balcony??", she asked noone.

"Because", the reindeer said. "We need your help".

Applejack jumped, her eyes widening. What the??. She pointed at the animal.

"Did you just-".

"Yup", the reindeer said.

Applejack froze. She must be going crazy.

"This can't be happenin", she said. "Animals don't talk".

"Well. We do", the reindeer said.

Suddenly Applejack noticed something about this reindeer. It's nose was glowing. Her eyes widened.

"Rudolph??".

The reindeer smirked. "Yup. That's me".

Applejack's mouth fell open. "You're real??".

Rudolph nodded. "Yeah".

He suddenly frowned. "Applejack. We need your help".

Applejack raised an eyebrow.

"Mah help??. With what??".

Rudolph motioned for her to come closer. Applejack walked up to him. Rudolph looked up and behind her.

"Now turn around and look up".

Applejack gave him a look. Rudolph rolled his eyes.

"Don't worry", he said. "You're not in any danger. I won't kick you from behind or something. Santa wouldn't be very happy. Especially on Christmas Eve. Now turn around".

Applejack did as told. She spun around and looked up. Her eyes widened, her mouth falling open.

"Oh mah gosh".

The man standing there smiled.

"Hello Applejack", he said.

Applejack looked at him in shock.

"Santa Claus??".
-----------------------------------

Applejack looked at the man, sitting across the room in shock. Santa was sitting in her room.

"Ah..... Ah didn't think......".

Santa smiled. "I know", he said. "You didn't think I was real".

Applejack looked at her lap and then back up.

"Why are you here??", she asked. "Shouldn't you be givin presents all over the world??".

Santa sighed. "Yes. I should. But I have a problem".

Applejack looked at his in concern.

"What is it??".

"Let me show you", he said. "Do you trust me??".

Applejack nodded. The two stood up. Santa faced a wall. He shot his hand out. Magic came out of his finger tips. Applejack watched as a portal opened. It was glowing red and green and gold.

"This can't be real", she said.

Santa smiled. "Come on", he said. "We don't have much time".

The man walked towards the portal. Applejack grabbed a jacket. She slipped it on and quickly followed. If she knew about Santa, she could take a guess at where they were heading.

---------------------------------------

Applejack jumped out of the portal. Everything turned white. She realized immediately that she had fallen into snow. Applejack lifted her head. She was freezing cold in seconds.

Applejack heard a chuckle. She slowly stood up. Brushing the snow off her coat, she looked up at the man.

"Lemme guess", she said, crossing her arms. "The North Pole??".

Santa smiled. "You're right".

Nicholas moved aside. Applejack's eyes widened.

"Oh mah gosh. Is that.....".

St. Nicholas smiled. "You bet cha. That's my workshop. Now C'mon".

The two made their way towards the shop. Santa and Applejack walked in through gigantic red double doors. Applejack gasped in shock. Woah.

The workshop was just how Rainbow described it. It was full of light and noise. There were toys everywhere.

Applejack walked in, looking around. She looked up. A toy train was hanging from the ceiling. She watched it run throughout the room. Applejack looked at Santa. He smiled at her.

"You like??", he asked.

Applejack nodded. "This place makes me feel like uh kid again".

Santa nodded. "Now. Follow me", he said. "I have to show something important".

The teen followed him out of the room. They walked down a hallway. A few little elves passed by. They smiled at Applejack. Her mouth fell open in shock. The elves waved and scampered off. Suddenly a little ball of light flew around Applejack. Applejack blinked in surprise. The little ball of light turned I to a small person with wings.

Applejack gasped. A pixie. The little fairy had had a red dress on. She smiled at her before flying off. Applejack was in shock.

She stood there for a second. Elves were real. Christmas pixies were real. Man. She had a lot of apologizing to do when she got back.

Nicholas led her into a room, closing the door behind them. Applejack stopped walking. In the center of the room was a ball. It was filled what looked like magic.

"What is that??", she asked in wonder.
Santa smiled at her.

"This my dear Applejack, is the sphere of christmas magic. It gives the world christmas magic and christmas spirit. It's what keeps me going every year. It's what keeps christmas alive".

Nicholas walked up to the large glass dome. Applejack looked at it. She noticed it was partially empty.

"Why's it only mostly filled??", she asked.

Nicholas sighed, turning to the look at her.

"That's why I brought you here", he said. "This also keeps track of the belief of christmas. The more people believe in me, the more this fills up".

The man shrugged. "Of coarse many many adults don't. That's normal".

Applejack was having trouble seeing what the problem was. Santa looked at her. He sighed sadly.

"Rainbow's a great girl", he said, smiling. "She always believed in me as a child and always did. Until recently".

Applejack looked at the floor. She was to blame for that.

"It was all mah fault", she said, looking at him. "She was always talkin' bout how excited she was ta see you again an how you two were friends and what chur workshop looked like an Rudolph was gunna come this year".

Applejack shrugged. "Ah didn't believe her. Ah made sure she knew that. Ah.......".

"Told her that none of this was real", Nicholas finished for her.

Applejack sighed. "Ah called her crazy. Am ah a horrible person??", she asked. "Was it terrible of me ta make her so upset like that".

Applejack crossed her arms. "Ah don't think ah could firgive mahself", she said. "She looked so hurt when ah yelled at er. Ah never wanted ta see that look on her face. But ah'm the one who made her that upset".

She sighed and bowed her head. She felt horrible.

"Our house is so dull now. There's no music, no laughter, no lights. Nothin'. Rainbow just gave up, ah guess. It's depressin".

Nicholas walked up to her.

"She doesn't believe in me anymore", he said sadly. "Rainbow Dash was one of the most firm believers. She's the reason I have enough christmas magic to do anything. She's what makes christmas possible. Now that she doesn't believe in me anymore......".

Applejack looked up at him with wide eyes.

"No".

Nicholas sighed. "No christmas this year".

Applejack looked away.

"All the children. They'll be devestated. And Rainbow...".

Santa smiled sadly. "Won't believe in me anymore. Christmas will be ruined forever".

Applejack looked up at Santa.

"How are you going to stop that??", she asked.

Santa smiled at her.

"Not me", he said. "You are going to stop this".

Applejack's eyes widened. "What??".

The man nodded. "You must get Rainbow to believe in christmas again", he said. "It's our only hope".

Applejack looked at the Christmas magic sphere. She smiled.

"And ah know just what ta do".
---------------------------------------

Rainbow looked out the window. She watched the snow fall. Rainbow turned and walked over to the fireplace. There was no fire lit. It was dark in the room. She took off one of the stockings hanging on a hook. She looked at it for a moment.

Rainbow sighed.

"No such thing as Christmas", she reminded herself.

She tossed the stocking. She quickly took off the other stockings and the them to the ground. She stared at the ground.

"Actually. You're wrong".

Rainbow quickly turned around. She saw Applejack standing in the balcony doorway. Rainbow looked at her, emotionless.

"Hey", she said.

Her face changed to confusion.

"Wait", she said. "Why are you-".

"That's not important right now", Applejack interrupted gently. "Right now. Ah need ta talk to you an then ah have ta show you somethin".

Rainbow turned to her. "What??".

Applejack sighed. She walked up to Rainbow Dash.

"Rainbow", she said, standing in front of her. "Ah'm sorry".

Applejack looked at the younger teen, sadness and regret clear in her eyes.

"Ah'm so sorry. You're not crazy. You were right all along".

Rainbow looked at her in confusion.

"About what??".

"Come with me. Ah have ta show you".

Applejack held a hand out. Rainbow looked at it. She looked glanced up at Applejack, contemplating. She glanced up at her.

"Please", Applejack said. "Ah'm sorry".

Rainbow finally reached out and took her hand. Applejack looked her in the eye.

"Just trust me", she said. "Trust me and be the Rainbow ah know an love. On our way there, do us both a favor an don't be all upset an go back ta being the innocent minded joyful person ya are".

Rainbow smirked. "I think I can try", she said. "If you can make me laugh enough times".

Applejack smiled. "Oh and grab a jacket. We'll be leaving the house........ and the state".

Rainbow's eyes narrowed. "What are talking about??".

Applejack grinned. "Trust me. Ah know what ah'm talkin about", she said.

Rainbow went and a grabbed her coat and shoes. She returned. She walked up to Applejack, arms crossed.

"Alright", she said. "Though I don't know what you wanna show me at 10 at night on christmas Eve".

Applejack smiled. "Trust me. You're gunna love it".

Applejack took her hand. She led her out to the balcony. Rainbow looked at her confused.

"Why are we out here??", she asked.

Applejack looked at something above Rainbow Dash.

"Ah think there's someone here ta see you".

Rainbow turned around and looked up. She gasped.

Nicholas smiled at her. He stood up on the roof, his sleigh behind him.

"Santa", Rainbow said, smiling.

Nicholas waved.

"It's nice to see you again Rainbow", he said. "You've grown so much since I last saw you. Exactly a year ago, a remember".

Nicholas climbed the roof and climbed into his sleigh. The sleigh lifted off a few seconds later. The girls watched as the sleigh, pulled by the reindeer floated into the air. The sleigh came down to where the teens were.

"Hey RD", Rudolph called, smiling.

Rainbow smiled. "Rudolph", she said.

"Hop in", Rudolph said. "We're heading to where all your childhood dreams come true".

Rainbow looked at Applejack, beaming.

"We're going to Santa's workshop??!!", she said excitedly. "Can we??. Please please please??".

Applejack smiled. "Coarse. Let's go".

The two climbed into the sleigh and took a seat in the back. Nicholas opened a portal. Rainbow smiled at Applejack.

"He has magic powers", she said.

Applejack smiled brightly at her.

"Ain't that cool??".

Rainbow nodded. The sleigh zipped into the portal. They came out the other side in a matter of seconds. The sleigh had a bit of a bumpy landing.

A few bumps and thumps but then, nothing new. It's a sleigh.

Rainbow smiled. "I missed this thing", she said. She looked up. They were in the workshop. They got out. Applejack led Rainbow into the shop. Rainbow's mouth fell open. She looked around the shop and all the toys and the elves. And then at Santa.

Applejack looked at her.

"Ah'm sorry ah didn't believe you", she said. "Ah'm sorry fir sayin the things ah did. Ah never wanted to upset you the way ah did. Ah honestly thought ah was doin the right thing. Actually....".

Applejack laughed. "Ah don't know what ah was thinkin. Ah was frustrated and weirded out and angry".

Applejack sighed. "You know ah love you right??".

Rainbow didn't respond. She looked at the ground. Applejack felt her heart break.

"Rainbow. Look at me".

Rainbow brought a hand up to her other arm and clutched it loosely. She glanced up at the blonde haired teen. Applejack pulled her close.

"Ah love you very much", Applejack said. "And ah need you ta know that ah'm very very sorry. Ah didn't mean a thing ah said to ya. You weren't crazy. You were right. You were right about everythin".

Applejack laced their fingers together.
"Santa Claus does exist. Reindeers can fly an talk. Elves are real. Christmas magic is real. Ah realize that now. But the only reason it exists is because you believe in it".

Rainbow stared at her.

"Ah'm sorry fir causin you ta not believe in christmas anymore", Asami said. "But ah really need you ta look around you an tell me whether ir not you believe".

Rainbow turned around. She took a long look around the room. She looked at all the toys. The train chugging around. The elves. The lights. The sounds. The joy she felt in her soul and heart was real. She easy excited to be here. It was like christmas morning. Rainbow looked at Nicholas. She smiled.

"I really believe".

Rainbow looked at Applejack, beaming.

"How can you not believe??", she asked. "We're standing in Santa's workshop for Pete sake. We just flew in Santa's sleigh. Rudolph talked to me. There are elves and toys everywhere".

Rainbow grinned. She pointed at Nicholas.

"Santa is standing right there".

Applejack smiled. The elves cheered. Suddenly magic filled the whole room. Santa smiled. He walked towards the sleigh as the elves were getting the last of the toys loaded. Applejack and Rainbow smiled. Christmas magic swirled around them. It was beautiful.

Applejack wrapped her arms around Rainbow's waist. Rainbow smiled at her.

"I forgive you", she said.

Applejack kissed he cheek lightly.

"Thank goodness. Ah wouldn't able to forgive myself if ah didn't get chur forgiveness first".

Rainbow turned and looked at Nicholas.

"So what now??".

Santa grinned. "There's only a few hours to deliver all these gifts", he said. "I need to get you girls home".

Applejack and Rainbow Dash smiled. They ran over to the sleigh and hopped in. The reindeer lifted off. The sleigh flew out of the shop and into the night.
------------------------------

Rainbow groaned. She forced her eyes open. Sitting up, she yawned. She looked around. Suddenly Rainbow gasped.

"Applejack!!", she shouted, smiling.

Turning she saw Applejack sleeping. Rainbow shook her violently.

"Get up. Get up. Get up".

Applejack groaned. Her eyes opened. She rubbed her eyes.

"What??".

"It's Christmas!!", Rainbow exclaimed.

Applejack sat up smiling. "Go brush yir teeth and wash yir face", she said.

Rainbow quickly got out of bed. She did told, Applejack not far after. The girls went downstairs to the living room. They gasped.

"Nicholas came!!".

There were presents underneath the tree. There were decorations everywhere. There were lights, the fireplace lit. It was perfect.

The teens walked up to the tree. There was a note. Applejack picked it up.

I did the place up a bit. It needed a little christmas touch to it. Also, my wife left a little something to eat for you girls. See you two next year. Thank you for believing.

-St. Nicholas aka Santa

Applejack smiled. She looked up at Rainbow Dash, who was kneeling in front of the tree. Applejack walked over to her and knelt down. Wrapping her arms around Rainbow's waist, she saw a snow globe in her hands.

"It's from Santa", Rainbow said.

She turned it upside down and right right up. They watched the snow fall inside. Rainbow smiled. She stood up. Walking over to a shelf, Rainbow set it down on it. She walked back over to Applejack.

Applejack wrapped her arms around her waist, bringing her close. Rainbow wrapped her arms around her neck, smiling.

"Thank you", she said. "For giving me the best Christmas ever".

Applejack giggled. "If you think it ends now, you're wrong".

Rainbow looked at her confused. Applejack smiled softly.

"Ah have a lot of makin up to do. Ah'm gunna spoil you rotten today".

Rainbow giggled. "Alright then", she said. "Let's eat. I'm hungry".

The girls walked into the kitchen to find pancakes and french toast made for them. They ate the best breakfast they've had in years. Then Rainbow put on some music.

"Let's open our presents", she said.

She pulled Applejack into the living room. She was super excited. The girls opened their gifts. They had gotten cool stuff like bracelets and music boxes. Rainbow got a new guitar and soccer ball and Asami got a new stetson hat. It was awesome.

The girls went outside for a while to play and walk around. Well Rainbow did the playing. She played with the neighbor dog, Tank. The two ran around, rolling in the snow.

Applejack watched from the porch. She noticed it was starting to gently snow again. There wasn't that much snow so it was needed. Applejack looked at Rainbow Dash and smiled. She stepped off the porch. She walked up to Rainbow and grabbed her up.

Rainbow laughed. She turned and faced he blonde girl.

"Last night was the best night of my life", she said. "I still can't believe we saw Santa's workshop and I'm friends with the guy. I go every year".

Applejack grinned. "Me neither. It was something ah'll never firget".

The two girls stared at eachother in silence. Applejack slowly leaned in. Her lips touched Rainbow's. Rainbow closed her eyes and kissed back. She smiled into the kiss, bringing her hands up to cup Applejack's face.

Rainbow pulled away. She smiled. Applejack kissed her forehead, hugging her.

"Ah love you Rainbow", she said. "Merry Christmas".

Rainbow smiled. "I love you too. Merry Christmas".

"Ah have an idea", Applejack said smiling. "Let's go inside fir hot chocolate an snuggle by the fire while watchin a movie".

Rainbow smiled. She turned and ran inside. Applejack smiled as Rainbow ran inside. She shook her head.

"Oh Rainbow", she laughed. "Please don't ever change".

"Hey Applejack", she heard.

Applejack turned around. She smiled. A man stood there. In brown pants, a red sweater. A round belly and white beard and hair.

"Thank you Nicholas", she said. "Ah don't think ah've ever seen Rainbow this happy".

Nicholas smiled. "No. Thank you. For saving christmas".

Applejack sighed. "Ah better get in there. Rainbow will be waitin".

Nicholas nodded. He watched her walk into the house, closing the door behind her. He sighed in content, leaning against a tree. He could see Rainbow and Applejack on the couch, cudding up together in front of the tv, smiling.

He smiled. Looking at the tree he made a portal appear. He looked at the house, a bright jolly smile on his face

"Merry Christmas girls", he said.

He stepped into the portal. It closed in a swirl of magic.

He knew that Rainbow and Applejack would have many happy Christmases in the future. As long as they believed. But that wouldn't be a problem. After all, Rainbow Dash was a firm believer and had an pure heart.

Pure hearts never lost faith. And with Applejack by her side, that faith would last forever.

The end.

Man this was a pain but I enjoyed this. So tell me what you thought while reading and any favorite parts??. Comment whatever and however much. Merry Christmas Eve!!. :)
