Applejack gulped as she stared up at the beast. She monster seemed to smirk at her.

Applejack had no frikking idea what to do then. She was sure she would die right then and there. The beast Crystal transformed into was massive, it's wings like a dragon's. But it looked like something out of a horror story.

A creature from hell.

Applejack looked down at Rainbow. The woman laid there unconscious and dead for all Applejack knew.

NO.

Applejack suddenly found courage deep down inside herself. She was not going to let someone take her Rainbow away after all they went through together. Not today, not ever.

This thing was going to die today. End of story.

Applejack faced the beast.

"Alright. Let's see how long it takes fir you ta die", she mumbled to herself.

The beast lunged down at her. Applejack swiped her sword, her footing steady. Luckily she knew how to use a sword in a fight. It wasn't hard at all.

The two battled it out. Applejack sliced the beast on its face. It screeched in pain, moving back. Applejack advance towards it, gritting her teeth in anger. The beast looked down at her. It's mouth opened.

Suddenly a ray of magic struck it's face. Applejack didn't expect that.

"Applejack!!".

Applejack took a quick glance to her right.. She saw her friends running towards her. She smiled in relief.

She looked back and gasped. She dove out of the way as the beast lunged at her, it's mouth open, ready to eat her whole. Applejack rolled and then got up to her feet. A second later she felt pain on her arm. She looked down at it to see a scrape on it. She winced. That was a close one.

The others ran up to her, their own weapons in hand. They all faced the monster.

"What happened??", Twilight asked, keeping her eyes on the beast. "Did you find Rainbow??".

"Yeah", Applejack said, panting. "Ah found her. But ta save her, ah gotta kill this thing".

"We can help", Pinkie said. "Just figure out a plan before we become its lunch. WATCH OUT!!".

The girls dove out of the way when the beast tried to get them. Twilight shot out some magic at it. The beast flinched. Its eyes glowed green. That couldn't be good. They all took a few steps back

"I think it's angry", Spike said, stating the obvious.

Applejack rolled her eyes. "Really??. Haven't noticed", she said sarcastically.

"AJ", Rarity said. "Focus".

A thought sudden came to Applejack. She had to get Rainbow away from the fight scene. She didn't want this thing to step on Rainbow Dash by accident. Then she'd definitely be dead.

"Spike. Fluttershy", she called over her shoulder. "You guys go an take Rainbow n' get er out of harm's way. This fight might get brutal".

Fluttershy and Spike took off. The beast saw them and tried to go after them. Applejack took the spare moment to run up to the beast. Raising her sword, she slashed at its tough skin. The beast's attention was immediately on her. It then growled.

Twilight and Rarity shot their magic at it while it was distracted. The force of the blows made it step back. Applejack decided to get out of the line of fire.

The beast let out a spine tingling roar. The building shook slightly, making the girls cover their heads with their arms.

Applejack was suddenly thrown across the room. The hit something hard and collapsed to the floor. She didn't even know what hit her. Literally. What was that??. It's tail??.

Applejack was winded. She coughed in air. Her eyes squeezed shut as her vision started spinning. She groaned in pain. Man that hurt.

Timed seemed to have stopped for her. Applejack felt her body weaken for a moment. She shook her head. No. She couldn't stop now. Rainbow needed her. She had to save her.

Applejack's vision cleared up. She blinked a few times. Her head as pounding. Probably from the impact.

Applejack pushed the hair out of her face as she looked up at the beast. She saw her friends battling it. Rarity was suddenly knocked off her feet. Applejack felt her breath caught in her throat.

Then Twilight was rolled out of the way. Applejack heard her cry out in pain. Pinkie came out of nowhere and slashed at the beast, getting too close for comfort. The beast snapped at her. It tried to take Pinkie's head off but Rarity blasted it with her magic.

Rarity went over to Pinkie, arms raised.

"Are you okay??".

Pinkie nodded. "Yeah. I'm okay".

Twilight rejoined the fight almost immediately after. Then there was more blasts and screeches. The women were pushed around and rolled and jumped out of the way. It was a battle zone.

Applejack felt relieved that they still had eachother's backs in battle.

Applejack looked around for her sword. She spotted laying a foot away from her.

Grabbing it, Applejack got to her knees. Applejack grit her teeth. Her head was pounding. She realized just how cold it was in there. Her body shook as she settled in the temperature of the castle. It was miserable. But she couldn't give up now. She was down but not out.

Applejack aimlessly searched for the wall. Her hand touched cold stone. She gripped it, staggering to her feet. She held on for support.

She carefully analyzed the situation. It was the perfect distraction.

Applejack shook herself awake. She became more alert of her surroundings. Applejack regripped the handle on her sword, ready to make her move. Applejack ran up to the beast, raising the sword.

The beast didn't notice her until it was too late. Applejack plunged the sword into it. She drove it deep into it. The beast let out a screech of pain.

Suddenly a light came from it. A strong force blew them all back. Applejack landed on her side. She pushed herself up. Looking at the beast, she sat up. A dark light engulfed it. The women watched in fear and anticipation.

Suddenly a smaller beast pounced out of the darkness. The girls got to their feet.

"Not again!!", Applejack cried.

The beast looked at Applejack. It smirked and started towards her. Applejack's eyes narrowed. She tensed up. The beast pounced into the air. Applejack threw her sword in its direction, the tip pointing right at it. She blindly tucked and rolled to get out of the way.

Applejack tumbled a few feet. She landed with a grunt.

"Ah hate creatures".

She looked up to see the creature laying on the floor. Applejack got to her feet, panting. She was prepared to fight but the creature didn't move.

No one moved. Applejack looked over at the girls. They were all tired looking and disheveled. They looked at the beast, still on their guard.

"Twilight", she said. "Come with me ta check".

Twilight pushed her messy hair out of her face and behind her ears. She limped over to Applejack. Applejack glanced at her and noticed her limping.

"Are you hurt??", she asked.

"I think it's just a sprain", Twilight said. "Nothing too bad".

The two women cautiously approached the fallen beast. The sword was embedded deep into its chest.

Twilight and Applejack walked up close, Twilight had her hands outstretched towards the beast in case it wasn't dead. It still didn't move.

Applejack looked at it. Blood oozed out of it. Applejack reached out and grabbed the end of her sword. She yanked it out. Once she did, the beast started glowing. The girls immediately backed up.

A glow surrounded the beast, engulfing it. Applejack's heart was racing. She mentally prayed that it wouldn't turn into another creature.

The beast shrunk until all that was left was Crystal. The glow faded away. Crystal laid on the floor, a stab wound on her chest. She was dead.

Applejack stood there for a moment. It was over. Finally over. She smiled.

"She's dead. We did it".

Applejack looked at her sword. It was covered in blood. She carelessly wiped it on her pants. Applejack dropped the item on the ground.

The girls smiled. Applejack suddenly heard a groan.

"Applejack", she heard Spike call.

Applejack turned around. She saw Fluttershy and Spike carrying Rainbow over to them. Applejack rushed over to meet them.

Fluttershy and Spike lowered Rainbow gently to the ground. The others ran over to them.

Applejack knelt down. Rainbow groaned, shifting around. Applejack took her in her arms. Rainbow's eyes opened. She looked disoriented and confused.

"What the.....".

Her voice was low and scratchy. She looked up and saw Applejack. She smiled.

"Hey you".

Applejack smiled.

"Hey".

Rainbow grunted, her eyes squeezed shut. She began to shiver.

"I feel so weak. I haven't eaten in days".

Applejack frowned. "Let's get cha out of here", she said.

Rainbow weakly gripped Applejack's shirt.

"I don't understand", she said quietly. "How........ how am I still alive??".

"I think I know", Twilight said.

Rainbow looked at her, turning her head slowly. Her eyes widened.

"You g-guys look terrible. Did you fight a dragon or s-s-something??".

Applejack laughed. "Yeah. We did".

Applejack looked at Twilight.

"What were you sayin'??".

Twilight smiled. "True love".

Applejack didn't understand. She raised an eyebrow. Twilight sighed, rolling her eyes.

"When you told Crystal at the wedding that you'll always love her, you said Rainbow's name".

"So??", Applejack asked.

"Sooo", Twilight continued, "you never really claimed your love for her that day. You said, I love you Rainbow Dash. So your love was not for that person. You claimed specifically for Rainbow Dash. So even though you were talking to what was supposedly Rainbow, you were talking to the real Rainbow Dash".

"Aw", Rainbow said. "I m-missed you saying that stuff to me??. Sh-She got to hear you b-be all sappy and stuff and I didn't. I d-demand equality".

Applejack giggled. She pulled Rainbow up so she was sitting upright. Applejack hugged her. Rainbow rested her head on Applejack's chest.

"Ah love you, Rainbow. Never firget that".

Rainbow smiled. "You proved that already".

Rainbow pulled away and looked up at her.

"You c-came all the way here and battled for me. You really do love m-me. You wouldn't be here if you didn't".

Rainbow suddenly began to tremble. She curled up against Applejack. She pulled the jacket around her closer.

"S-So cold".

Applejack looked at the others.

"Let's get er home".

Applejack scooped her up. She stood up, being extra careful with Rainbow. Rainbow was very light weighted. She was obviously starved.

The others gathered their used and bloodied weapons. They headed out of the dungeon and down the dark hall.

"I'm so cold", Rainbow whimpered. "I feel like I'm freezing inside out".

Rainbow coughed. She groaned and buried her face into Applejack's neck. Applejack kissed her head.

"Ah know, baby. Ah know. But it's over now. You're safe".

She looked at Twilight who was walking beside her.

"Got any spells that'll give her some warmth??"

Twilight thought for a moment.

"Yeah", she said, a small smile on her face.

They stopped walking. Twilight cited a spell. An orange and yellow glow surrounded her hands. Twilight touched Rainbow's body. Rainbow sighed in content.

It surrounded her. Twilight pulled her hands away.

"Warm??".

Rainbow nodded. She snuggled into Applejack's embrace.

"Warm is good".

The group kept walking. They left the castle. Twilight used her magic to create another hooded winter for Applejack as they saw that it was snowing. The adults looked around.

"How are we gonna get back home in this??", Applejack asked.

Suddenly a roar got their attention. They all turned their heads to see the Manticore from before along with some other Manticores. A herd of them. They watched as the three creatures approached them.

The Manticore laid down in front of Applejack. Applejack immediately knew what it wanted.

"Are you sure??. Do you know the way back??".

The creature gave a nod. Applejack was a little hesitant. She suddenly felt a tug on her arm. Looking down, she saw Rainbow looking up at her, tiredly.

"Trust them", Rainbow said weakly. "Please. I'm starving and sick".

Applejack looked up at the Manticore. She had no choice.

"Alright".

Applejack climbed on with Rainbow in her arms. Twilight, Spike and Rarity climbed on another one. Pinkie and Fluttershy got on another one. The herd started off back into the dark forrest.

Applejack looked down at Rainbow Dash. The multi color haired women coughed. The woman was suffering so badly. Applejack bit her lip. She knew the only way to make it better was to get her to a hospital.

She wrapped an arm around her waist gently, holding her securely. Rainbow was clearly weak and tired. She struggled to keep awake.

Applejack held her close, not letting up her grip.

"Just hold on, Rainbow", she said. "We'll be home soon. Just hang in there".

Just hang in there, Rainbow.

So yeah. This chapter probably didn't make much sense and was probably poorly written. I didn't even plan on updating tonight because I was very busy today but I did anyway.

So let me know what cha think of this and all that and I'll update as soon as possible :)
