"Let's party".

The reception hall was amazing. As soon as they got there, there were so many people there.

Rainbow looked around the room, smiling. All the lights and the decorations were amazing.

She looked at Applejack. The blonde woman smiled at her.

"This place is so cool", Rainbow said. "I love it".

"C'mon you guys", Spike said.

Rainbow and Applejack looked at their friends.

"Let's go sit down".

The group went over to their reserved table. As they sat down, Rainbow looked around.

"Everyone can see us", she said to Applejack.

Applejack smiled at her.

"Um yeah. We're kinda the ones that got married. We're supose ta sit where everyone can see us".

"Oh".

Rainbow folded her hands and looked around quietly.

"Rainbow".

Rainbow turned her head. She saw a few of Applejack's girl cousins, Butterscotch and Foxtail, standing there, waving her over.

"I'll be right back", Rainbow said, getting up.

She walked over to them. She smiled.

"Hey".

Butterscotch smiled.

"Congratulations", she said. "You are so lucky to have Applejack as a wife".

Rainbow shrugged, grinning. "Yeah. I am".

"I have to say", Foxtail said. "That little ramble you did on the alter was quite interesting to listen to".

Rainbow blushed. "Oh that. Sorry. I was just-".

"Nervous", Butterscotch cut in. "We know. It's cool".

Rainbow smiled.

"But", Foxtail said, frowning. "Do you really want Applejack to have to continuously listen to a nervous ramble every time you open your mouth today??. It's embarrassing for her".

Rainbow hadn't really thought of that. Her rambling night have been more embarrassing for Applejack. After all, her whole family was there. It must've been terrible to have to stand there with a babbling mess for a wife. They're probably judging Applejack right now.

Rainbow felt bad. Her heart sank.

"Oh".

"My advice??", Foxtail said. "Don't say anything that'll embarrass yourself or Applejack. Just say as little as possible. It'll make things better. Be the exact opposite of yourself. Just for today".

Rainbow nodded. "Alright".

The two women smiled. "We're just looking out for you".

Rainbow gave a small smile. She turned and walked back to the table. Sitting down next to Applejack, she folded her hands together, legs crossed.

She listened to the conversation around her. She looked around, silently observing the place. She wanted to keep herself occupied so she wouldn't have to talk to anyone.

Twilight was watching her from beside her. She knew something was wrong. She got up and walked over to Applejack.

"Applejack".

Applejack looked at her. Twilight kneeled down.

"Something's wrong. Rainbow looks upset", she whispered in her ear.

Applejack pulled away. She looked at Rainbow Dash. The woman was looking around silently, arms crossed now. Applejack reached out and took her hand. Rainbow looked at her.

"You okay??", Applejack said, turning her body to face her.

Rainbow nodded, her eyes not meeting hers. Applejack knew she lied.

"C'mon".

Applejack stood up. She pulled Rainbow up and led her to a corner of the room. Applejack faced Rainbow.

"What's wrong??. Tell me. You're not supposed ta be upset on yir wedding day and as yir wife, ah need ja ta tell me".

Rainbow shrugged.

"Talk ta me, RD", Applejack said. "Please".

Rainbow looked away.

"I don't wanna talk".

"Why??", Applejack asked.

Rainbow sighed. "I'm trying to be the exact opposite of myself".

Applejack was taken back.

"How come??".

Rainbow sighed. "So I don't embarrass you anymore".

Applejack chuckled. "That's crazy. C'mon Rainbow".

Rainbow shrugged. "I made a fool out of myself today in front of your whole family. I'm sure you were embarrassed by me. Who wouldn't??".

Applejack frowned. Rainbow was serious.

"So I'm going to be the exact opposite of myself. I'm not going to say much so I don't say something stupid".

Applejack shook her head.

"Rainbow. Baby".

Applejack took her hand.

"You don't embarrass me at all. Ah promise. You were just nervous. Ah don't mind it".

"You don't??", Rainbow asked, raising an eyebrow.

Applejack shook her head. "Ah don't. You're you and ah love you. Don't try ta change yirself. Ah could never be embarrassed by you. Where did that come from??".

Rainbow shrugged. "Some women from yir family".

Applejack stood up.

"Where are you going??", Rainbow asked.

"Ta clear handle this situation", Applejack said.

"Don't say anything", Rainbow said, grabbing Applejack's wrist. "It's not that big of a deal".

"Rainbow", Applejack said. "Whatever those people said to you is gonna stick in yir mind fir a while. They can't say that to you. They tried ta change you and hurt yir feelings. That isn't acceptable".

Applejack turned and walked over to where the dj, Vinyl Scratch was. Pinkie and Vinyl looked at the bride.

"Hey", Pinkie said.

"Hand me a microphone", Applejack said, a serious look on her face. "Ah need ta say something to mah family and ah gotta say it now".

Applejack was handed a mic.

"Thanks".

She turned it on.

"Hey", she said, her voice her on the speakers.

It got quiet immediately. Applejack walked to where everyone could see her.

"Listen up everyone because Ah'm only gonna say this once".

Applejack looked around the room.

"Ah don't care who you are. Don't any of you ever try ta change Rainbow Dash's personality. Whoever told her she embarrassed me by bein herself is wrong. Rainbow is perfect just the way she is. Ah love her because of the way she acts and talks and thinks. She's unique and ah hate that someone from THIS family tried ta bring her down and make her feel bad about herself on her weddin day. It ain't right. Now let her be happy with herself today, okay??. Ah don't want her ta have ta worry about talkin ta me in fear of makin a fool out of herself. Let Rainbow be herself and shut up".

Applejack walked back to the table. She saw Strike and Blitz with Rainbow, talking to her. It was quiet. Applejack sat down. She looked at Rainbow and the two guys. Blitz smiled and squeezed Rainbow's hand.

"Okay??. Don't let it ruin yir speacial day".

Rainbow smiled. "Thanks guys".

Rainbow looked at Applejack and smiled.

"Thanks. You didn't have to do that".

Applejack smiled. "Ya ah did. They had ta know ah wasn't gonna let anyone mess with the one ah love".

Rainbow and Applejack smiled at eachother.

"Let's get something ta eat", Applejack said.

The women went to get their dinner with the others. There was cheese stuffed pasta with tomato sauce on it, bread rolls, a giant bowl of Caesar salad, vegestables, another kind of pasta and some other food. Rainbow loved the food already.

After they ate and had some time to talk, they had people give a few words to the new married couple. A lot of people talked and gave their congrats to Applejack and Rainbow.

Then they just had some chill time. Rainbow Applejack went to change and came back wearing a a vest, pants, and her boots.

Rainbow raised an eyebrow.

"Why??"

Applejack smirked

"Ah felt more comfortable this way".

Applejack sat down beside Rainbow.

The two chatted with their friends, taking a million pictures. After a while, Rainbow started whining. Applejack and her sat down by themselves. They laughed and joked around.

"C'mon", Applejack said, getting up. She held out her hand. "Ah have another surprise fir you".

Rainbow got up. "What??".

Applejack walked over to Pinkie. She picked up the microphone.

"Everyone", she said. "Can we have yir attention??".

Everyone looked at them. Applejack smiled.

"Thanks. Now ah have a gift fir Rainbow that you're all gonna wanna see ta believe. Twilight?".

Rainbow turned and looked at Twilight. Twilight walked over to them, smiling. Rainbow was so lost. Twilight stood beside them.

She chanted something and held her hands out. Magic shot from her fingertips. A small tornado of magic twirled in the center of the room.

It disappeared and a woman stood there.

Rainbow gasped, hands flying to her mouth. She stood there in shock.

"Mom??".

Eden smiled at her daughter.

"Hi, Dashie".

Rainbow ran up to her. She nearly tackled the woman. Eden hugged back tightly.

"Oh my celestia", Rainbow said. "It's you. It's really you".

Eden pulled away. She smiled.

"This spell will only last for a while only. I just had to be here for your wedding day".

She looked at Rainbow's dress. She exhaled.

"You're so beautiful, honey".

Rainbow smiled at her mom's compliment. She giggled.

"Thanks".

Eden took her hands. "I'm so proud of you, Rainbow. You grew up to be a beautiful, smart, strong young woman. You found your true love and got your happily ever after".

Rainbow felt tears in her eyes. Eden sighed.

"I'm sorry for leaving you all alone. You grew up in a terrible home with a terrible man. I'm so sorry for not getting out of there when I could. Please forgive me. It was my fault you were trapped there".

Rainbow smiled. "Mom", she said. "It wasn't your fault. It was his. Don't worry about it. It's okay. Don't blame yourself for that. He knew what he was doing. He's in jail forever now".

Eden smiled. "Good. I'm so happy you're alive and well".

Eden cupped her cheeks. "I love you, my little Dashie. No matter what, you'll always be my little girl".

Rainbow looked at her mom. She suddenly felt a hand on her shoulder. Turning her head, she saw her Uncle standing there. He smiled.

"Sorry. It's just that you two look the same".

He was right. They looked so similar, they could be twins. Laughs erupted around the room. Rainbow and Eden laughed.

Strike grinned. He looked at Eden.

"Good to see you, sis".

The two hugged. Eden smiled. Pulling away, she looked at Rainbow Dash. Applejack walked up beside Rainbow and took her hand. Rainbow smiled at her.

"Applejack", Eden said, getting their attention.

She gave Applejack a look.

"I heard what you said at the church. I can tell you meant every word. You really do love Rainbow, don't you??".

Applejack nodded. "Yes Ma'am".

"Then continue to take care of her", Eden said. "Protect her and love her and make her feel adored since I'm not there to do it myself".

Applejack nodded. "Ah will. Don't worry".

Rainbow looked at Eden. She still couldn't believe it. She hugged her mom.

"I don't want you to go".

Eden hugged back. "I have to, baby. But you'll see me soon"

"How soon??", Rainbow asked.

Eden sighed. "Soon".

She smiled and pulled away. She made a necklace appear. It was silver and had a gem for the charm. Engraved on it said, "I love you, Dashie -Eden Dash".

"Here".

She placed it around Rainbow's neck.
Rainbow smiled. Eden placed a hand on her shoulder.

"I love you, baby. I always will. Okay??".

Rainbow nodded. "I love you more".

Eden poked her nose. "We all know I love you more".

Rainbow giggled. "Yeah".

Eden started to pull away. Rainbow held on tighter. Eden smiled sadly.

"It's gonna be okay".

Rainbow shook her head. "Don't go yet. Stay for a little bit".

Eden sighed and smiled. "Okay. I'll be sitting down over there".

Eden walked over to a table and sat down like she said she would. Rainbow smiled. Applejack smirked.

"And ah have another surprise".
Rainbow rolled her eyes.

"Another one??".

Applejack smirked. "You'll like this one too".

Rainbow raised an eyebrow.

Applejack's face softened.

"Listen. Ah know the bride is suppose ta dance with her dad".

Rainbow deflated a little. She nodded, crossing her arms.

"Yeah. So??".

Applejack smiled. "So. Yir dad ain't here ta dance with ya sooo.... ah got someone else".

Rainbow felt a tap on on her shoulder. She turned around. Her eyes widened a little. Jackson stood there, grinning.

"What do you say, RD??", he asked. "Wanna dance with yir old man??".

Rainbow smiled. She nodded. Suddenly music started. Rainbow giggled.

The floor cleared. Rainbow and Jackson got into position. They danced to the song "Daddy dance with me" by Crystal Keith.

Rainbow looked into the man's eyes.

"Are you crying??".

Jackson looked away.

"No. It's...... It's liquid pride".

Rainbow laughed. The song ended. Rainbow hugged Jackson.

"Thanks, Daddy".

Jackson felt his heart melt at the name. Hr hugged back.

"You're welcome, Rainbow. Anythin fir you. Ah love you like mah own daughter. Almost as much as Applejack".

Rainbow giggled, pulling away.

"I can deal with that".

Rainbow sighed in content. "That was the best dance ever".

Jackson smirked. "Then turn around and you'll be proven wrong", he said.

Rainbow sighed.

"Another surprise??", she said loud enough for everyone to hear.

She turned around. She saw Applejack standing there, a stupid grin on her face.

"Yup", she said.

Rainbow walked over to her. Applejack extended her right hand.

"Will you do me the honor of of a dance??".

Rainbow bit her lip. Dance with Applejack??.

Music started. It was their song. Rainbow's eyes widened. Oh gosh.

Applejack smiled. "You'll be fine, Rainbow", she whispered.

Rainbow nodded, though her heart was racing. She smiled.

Tale as old as the time

The two bowed.

True as it can be. Barely even friends. Them somebody bends, unexpectedly.

Applejack gave her her arm. Rainbow held it as they went to the very center of the dance floor. They turn to eachother.

Just a little change. Small to say the least.

"Ready??", Asami asked quietly, taking her hand.

Rainbow bit her lip.

"I guess so".

Both a little scared. Neither one prepared. Beauty and the Beast.

Applejack took Rainbow's hand and placed it on her shoulder. Applejack placed her own left hand on Rainbow's waist.

Ever jusy the saaame.

She looked at Rainbow Dash, smiling. Rainbow nodded.

Ever a surpriiise.

Applejack took the lead and started to dance. Rainbow nearly tripped but caught herself. The two start off well.

Ever as before. Ever just as sure, as the sun will riiise.

Applejack saw Rainbow relaxing aasnd decided to go full speed. The two ballroom danced around the room.

Tale as old as time. Tune as old as song.

Rainbow smiled. Applejack spun her and then pulled her back in. She spun Rainbow out at arms length.

Bittersweet and strange. Finding you can change.

Applejack pulled her in and then again on on the opposite arm. Pulling Rainbow close, she lifted her up by her waist, spinning.

Learning you were wrooong.

Rainbow laughed. Applejack lowered her to her feet, smiling. The two couldn't kept their eyes off eachother as they danced together.

Certain as sun, rising in the east. Tale as old as time. Song as old as rhyme. Beauty and the Beast.

The lights dimmered but Applejack and Rainbow didn't seem to notice. They were too busy getting lost in eachother's eyes.

They slow danced the last past.

Rainbow Dash and Applejack slowly leaned in. Their lips pressed together. Rainbow wrapped her arms around Applejack's neck while Applejack's arms snaked around her waist as they kissed.

A thunderous applause sounded throughout the dining hall. Rainbow and Applejack pulled away, opening their eyes. They smiled at eachother.

"Ah love you", Applejack said. "You mean the world ta me and ah think ah've proven it".

Rainbow gave her a kiss on the lips.
She smiled at her.

"You did. I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you".

Applejack lifted her up in arms. Rainbow looked down at the other woman.

"Me too", Applejack said.

Rainbow got serious.

"There's gonna bumps in the road. Arguements, fights, disagreements maybe, stubbornness".

Applejack shrugged. She put Rainbow down. Taking her hand, she kissed it.

"As long as ah have you by mah side, ah'll gladly take anythin' life throws our way. Ah'm ready. Are you??".

Rainbow looked around. At her friends, her family. She then looked at Applejack. The woman she loved the most. The woman that's been there for her for years on end through all their adventures and mishaps and laughs and tears and pain and joyful days. Her lover, best friend, and wife. She couldn't imagine life without Applejack. With Applejack, Rainbow was ready to face anything.

She smiled, firmly squeezing her hand.

"I'm ready".

So there you have folks. The 1 year anniversary special is now finished. Wow. This story honestly gave me feels while I was typing the ending.
