It was nearly time. The ceremony was about to start and Rainbow was starting to get antsy. The woman was pacing around, biting on her knuckle while the bridesmaids watched. She was all dolled up and pretty. She had on her white wedding dress. It was long with lace long sleeves with swirly patterns on them. The dress had tiny gems on the top, each the different colors of the rainbow. It was very pretty. Rainbow had heels on as well. Shocker. They were pretty comfortable too.

Rarity had put a bit of makeup on her. Her hair was done up as well with a small tiara on her head that had the veil attached to it.

She was ready.

If only she didn't feel like throwing up.

Rainbow was nervous. She had to go by herself out there. She was bound to face a partially empty church where her family was suppose to sit. Rainbow crossed her arms.

"You'll be fine", Fluttershy spoke up.

Rainbow looked at her friend. She sighed.

"Sorry, Shy. I just don't wanna think about not having my mom here. It's sort of a big thing".

Rainbow went back to pacing.

"I mean I would like to have walked with my dad, but he's the devil himself and in jail so that's not going to happen".

Rainbow sighed sadly. Suddenly the door to the main part of the church was opened, making her look up. Everyone looked over to see Rainbow's Uncle, Strike. He smiled and looked around.

"Don't chu all look amazing", he said.

He looked at Rainbow and his eyes went wide. He walked up to her.

"Wow. You look beautiful".

Rainbow had a very shocked look on her face. Her mouth was open, eyes wide. She covered her mouth with her hands as a reflex.

"Oh my celestia".

Strike came up to him and hugged her. Rainbow hugged back, still in shock. She squeezed him tightly.

"What are you doing here??", she asked.

The man grinned. "Well someone has ta walk ya down the aisle".

Rainbow was surprised. Strike??. Walk her down the aisle??

"Really??".

Rainbow pulled away, smiling. "Oh I'd love it if you would".

Jackson chuckled. "Only if you want me to".

Rainbow shook her head, still smiling. "I wouldn't want it to be anyone else".

She wrapped her arms around him. Strike hugged her back. Rainbow laughed to herself.

"I was worried about walking alone", she said. "It would suck".

Strike pulled away. He smiled at her.

"I'm honored to be the one that walks the bride down the aisle. I know your dad wouldn't do it in a million years".

Rainbow's face fell, her eyes downcast.

"But that's why I'm here", Strike said. "To take his place in your life as a father figure along with Jackson. My brother ain't worth it".

Rainbow smiled. "Thank you, Strike".

Strike smiled at her. He gave her a light kiss on the forehead.

"You're welcome RD. No matter what, you'll always be my brave little girl and you can always come to me".

Rainbow nodded. "Okay".

"Guys", Spike suddenly said.

They all looked at him.

"They're ready. Time to start".

Rainbow bit her lip. She looked at her uncle.

"I don't know if I can do this. I wish Mom was here. She'd know what to tell me".

Rainbow felt her heart racing, her hands were shaking.

Strike noticed and took her hands.

"It's gonna be okay. Just breathe and focus. You're just walking and smiling".

Rainbow nodded. "Just focus on walking. That's it".

Everyone got into position. Strike gave Rainbow his arm. Rainbow held on tightly. She took a few breaths in an attempt to calm her nerves. The door opened. They heard the music playing.

One by one, the bridesmaids and the groomsmen walked down. Then Rarity and as the Maid of Honor and The Best Man.

Rainbow felt her heart racing as it came her turn.

"Ready??", Strike whispered.

She nodded and smiled. "Ready".

They walked down the aisle. Rainbow passed by a ton of members of the Apple family and a ton of their friends. She didn't look for her family, knowing that she wouldn't find anyone.

She suddenly spotted Applejack. Rainbow felt her breath get caught in her throat. Man. She was beautiful. She had her blonde hair curled and pulled back. It was tied with a white ribbon and a white hat on her head that had the veil attached to it. Her dress was of course white. Her dress hand solid white sleeves. The dress had a little buckle to it. It actually looked amazing.

The front was shorter than the back so Rainbow could see her boots. Rainbow laughed inside. Only AJ would wear boots on her wedding day.

Rainbow and Strike neared the alter. They stopped a few feet in front of it. Rainbow looked at Applejack again. Up close she could see flower patterns in the lace of Applejack's dress. It looked amazing on her.

The Mayor stepped foward. She would be giving the ceremony.

She smiled. "Who here gives up this woman??".

Rainbow looked at her uncle.

"Thank you", she whispered. "For everything".

Strike smiled at her. He kissed her temple. He then looked at the mayor.

"Me".

Rainbow stepped foward. Applejack reached out her hand. Rainbow stood in front of her. The two held hands, staring at eachother. Rainbow couldn't stop smiling.

The Mayor started the speech.

Rainbow looked at Applejack.

"Wow", she mouthed.

Applejack giggled silently. She hooked their pinkies. Rainbow quietly took a deep breath and then let it out. She looled at the floor then up at Applejack. She wondered what she did right to deserve such a beautiful woman.

Applejack was like an angel in her white dress. Beautiful. Flawless. Perfect. As always.

Rainbow was a shaking, heart pounding, nervous wreck while Applejack was calm, cool and collected. It wasn't fair.

Rainbow listened to the Mayor. She prayed that she'd keep talking just so she'd have enough time to get herself in check.

"Rainbow??".

Rainbow looked at the Mayor, obviously lost.

"Huh??".

The Mayor chuckled quietly.

"Your vows. What do you have to say to Applejack??".

Oh. The vows.

Rainbow looked at Applejack. Her mouth opened but nothing came out. After a minute of silence.......

"Oh my gosh you're beautiful".

Applejack giggled. Rainbow blushed.

"I-I mean it. You are. Um...... I'm not exactly the best with this sappy stuff but I'm trying to bear with me".

Applejack folded her hands.

Rainbow took a deep breath and let it out.

"I love you, okay??".

Rainbow looked at Applejack. "I really love you. Now..... I don't see why you're here with me".

Rainbow shrugged. "You're beautiful, strong, independent, successful, really smart, kind, thoughtful, a good person that can make something out of herself".

Rainbow grinned. "You made my life a whole lot better when I met you. You brightened up my world. Meeting and the rest of our friends was the best day of my life".

She sighed, looking down.

"I want to thank you for everything. Thanks for putting up with me and my craziness. Thanks always being there to get me through each day. Thanks being in my life. I'd be dead if it weren't for you".

Rainbow giggled. "There's so much I love about you. You're perfect to me. You look like a frikkin angel in that dress for Celestia sake".

Rainbow glanced up at her. She folded her hands. She shrugged.

"I'm the opposite. Lazy, stupid, I depend on you for everything, I'm cocky, arrogant, immature, selfish, ugly".

She shrugged again. "I don't think it's my depression saying this, but I really think the world would be better off if I wasn't alive".

Rainbow looked up at Applejack. Applejack had a shocked and horrified look on her face.

"Rainbow Dash. Shut up".

Applejack had a serious look on her face.

"It's mah turn ta talk".

Rainbow nodded, looking down at the floor. Applejack stared right at her as she began.

"Rainbow. Ah've had this conversation with you a million times", she said. "But ah will tell you this again".

She brought a hand up to her cheek.

"You're not those things. You're much better than that. So much more than average".

Applejack smiled gently.

"Ah remember the first time ah met cha", she said. "Ahh was ready ya kill you".

The crowd laughed. Rainbow had forgotten they were there. She looked up at AJ. AJ chuckled.

"Me and you nearly strangled eachother by the end of that week. Ah thought you were the most conceded and most annoyin' person on this here earth".

Rainbow grinned. "Proves my point", she said. "I'm conceded".

Applejack shook her head. "Shh. Let me talk"

Rainbow pursed her lips together, keeping silent. Applejack went on.

"But then as we got ta know eachother, ah finally understand why ya acted that way. Ah found out about chur personal life with yir family".

Rainbow frowned. She looked away. Applejack frowned at the thought.

"Ah remember you tellin me about chur dad and how he would beat cha everyday. Ah was gonna kill him".

Applejack rubbed her arm comfortingly.

"Ah had completely misjudged you. Ah thought you were lazy, but you worked yir tail off at home just tryna survive. You were skinny from not eat'n enough. You had bruises all the time".

Rainbow looked at her shocked. Applejack noticed. "Oh yeah. Ah noticed. Ah wasn't stupid and I'm still not".

Rainbow looked away. Applejack sighed.

"You won't through hell as a kid. Especially when yir mom died. But".

Rainbow looked up at her. Applejack smiled.

"You're strong. You made it through hell and survived. You're still here, laughin' and smilin' and breathin'. Ah'm so proud of you".

Rainbow suddenly started blinking rapidly. Applejack could tell she was trying not to cry. She took her hands.

"Ah am. Ah feel sorry fir yir dad. He was a demon and he hurt chu and did things no father should do to his kid. He's missing out on someone amazing. His daughter".

Rainbow looked at her with glossy eyes.

"He is", Applejack said. "He's missing out on yir life. Father of the year".

Rainbow laughed. She sniffled. Applejack shrugged.

"But you made it through. You're strong. A fighter. You survived his reign of terror and go through it. You're beautiful and strong and tough and energetic and you seem ta make our house a little brighter and noisy every day".

Suddenly she laughed. "And ah proved that ah love you. You were kidnapped because you loved me"

Rainbow nodded. Applejack sighed.

"Ahh still can't get over the fact that that woman was pretendin ta be you for months. Ah was about ta murder he when ah realized ah had been tricked".

Applejack wrapped her arms around her waist.

"It's you ah love. No one else. And ah'll fight another dragon right here and now ta keep you safe and keep you with me, alive".

Rainbow smiled. "That's so sweet of you Applejack. I like that about you. You're sweet".

Applejack shrugged. "Ah wouldn't wanna be with anyone else. Ah love you.

The two looked at the Mayor. They smiled and nodded. The Mayor stepped foward, smiling.

"Now. Who has the rings??".

The ring boy came up and gave them the rings. Applejack took Rainbow's ring. She held Rainbow's hand in the other hand.

"Now, repeat after me", the mayor said. "Rainbow Eden Dash".

Applejack smiled. "Rainbow Eden Dash".

"With this ring".

"With this ring".

"I give my heart to you".

"Ah give mah heart ta you".

"I promise to love you".

"Ah promise ta love you".

"To honor you".

"Ta honor you".

"To support you".

"Ta support you".

"To protect you".

Applejack grinned. "Ta protect you".

"No matter what".

"No matter what".

"I love you with all my heart and soul".

"Ah love you with all mah heart n soul".

She slipled the ring on. Then it was Rainbow's turn. She did the same with Applejack.

"Now before ah we say the final words", the mayor said. "We have a surprise gift for Rainbow".

Rainbow looked at her, a confused look on her face. She looked at Applejack who smiled.

"Turn around".

Rainbow looked over her shoulder. She gasped spinning around. Her hands flew to her mouth for like the third time that day.

"Blitz".

There stood Rainbow's brother. He was dressed up and in a nice suit. He smiled. He's walked up to Rainbow. Rainbow opened her arms. The man scooped her up in a hug, lifting her off the ground. Rainbow hugged him as tight as possible.

The crowd clapped. Rainbow blinked back tears. She was not going to cry.

"I love you, Rainbow", Blitz said. "I love you so much".

Rainbow pulled away to kiss his cheek and then hugged him again.

"I love you too", she said, her voice cracking.

After a few minutes they broke apart. Rainbow looked up at her older brother.

"What??. How??. When?? What??".

Rainbow laughed in disbelief. She looked at Applejack.

"How??".

Applejack laughed. "Ah know people".

Rainbow giggled. Blitz grinned.

"I was NOT going to miss my baby sister get married".

He looked at Applejack and gave her a warning look.

"Hurt her and I'll send a girl I know after you. I don't hit women".

Applejack laughed and nodded. "Ah've done a pretty good job so far, right??".

The man nodded. "Yeah. I guess so. She's still here in one piece so that's something".

Rainbow giggled. She hugged him.

"Thanks for being here".

The man smiled. "No problem. Plus, no one else would be here".

Rainbow gave a slight shrug.

"You're right. That's true".

Rainbow smiled at Applejack. She smiled.

"Ready??".

Applejack nodded and reached out her hand.

"Only of you're ready".

Rainbow walked up to her, taking her hands.

"Ready as I'll ever be".

The Mayor cleared her throat ad began.

"Do you Rainbow Dash, take Applejack Smith to be your lawfully wedded wife??. To care for her?? Support her??. Comfort her??. Love her??. Through bad times and good??. Through rain or shine?? For better or for worse??. Through sickness and in health??. As long as you both shall live??".

Rainbow smiled. "I do".

"And do you Applejack Smith, take Rainbow Eden Dash to be your lawfully wedded wife. To care for her??. Support her??. Comfort her?? Love her??. Through bad times and in good??. Through rain or shine??. For better or for worse??. In sickness and in health??. For as long as you both shall live??".

Applejack tightened her grip on Rainbow's hands a little bit. She smiled.

"Ah do".

"I now pronounce you officially wife and wife. You may kiss".

Applejack pulled her in, pressing their lips together. Rainbow wrapped her arms around her neck slowly, Applejack's hands on her hips. Everyone cheered.

They pulled away and smiled at eachother. Rainbow took a deep breath and exhaled in relief.

"Glad that's over with", she said. "I nearly passed out".

Applejack giggled. She held Rainbow around her waist. "Ah love you".

Rainbow smiled. Their foreheads touched. Magenta met green.

"I love you more".

Applejack chuckled. "Ah love you more, mah princess".

Rainbow giggled. She wrapped her arms around Applejack's neck.

"How did I get so lucky??".

Applejack shook her head. "Ah'm the lucky one. You're just beautiful".

Rainbow laughed. "You know what I'm thinking??".

"What??", Applejack asked.

Rainbow grinned. "Let's party".
