Rainbow sighed.

"I hate heat".

There was a heat wave that day in their city. Rainbow and Applejack were spending it by the pool.

The rainbow haired teen looked at the cool water. She turned and looked at Applejack who was grilling hot dogs and hamburgers for the two.

She stood up and jumped into the pool, making a splash. Rainbow looked around underwater. She smiled. It looked so cool blurry. But she then decided that she didn't feel like drowning today and swam up for air.

Surfacing Rainbow shook her head, her hair going everywhere. The teen laughed. She swam towards the pool's edge.

She pulled herself out and stood there for a second. She felt the sun beat down on her. But she was fine.

She looked over at Applejack. She smirked. She quietly tiptoed over to her. She smirked. She stood behind the blonde. Rainbow was about to scare her when Applejack turned around and grabbed her. Rainbow screamed.

Applejack laughed. "Gotcha babe".

Rainbow let out a breath. "Don't do that", she said.

Applejack grinned. And she put the girl down.

"You thought you could scare me".

Rainbow pouted. "Maybe".

Applejack smiled. She kissed her forehead.

"Food is almost done if ya want some".

Rainbow nodded. She and Applejack sat down and ate the delicious grilled food. The sun felt great on Rainbow's wet skin. Like a heater. It felt good.

"This is the life", Rainbow said grinning.

Applejack smiled and shook her head. She watched the younger girl eat her food. Rainbow had 3 cheeseburgers on her plate and two hot dogs. That girl could eat a thousand of em and still be hungry. She loved barbecue food.

The girls finished their food. Rainbow thought about going into the pool again but Applejack refused to let her.
"C'mon babe. Ya just ate. Chill out ah bit with me. Ah have ice cream".

Rainbow gasped and smiled. She loved ice cream!!.

Applejack went to go get it. She came back with two ice cream cones. Rainbow's had chocolate and Applejack had vanilla. Rainbow looked at her.

"Thank you!!", she shouted in a little kid voice.

Applejack smiled. "Your welcome. Anythang fir you".

Rainbow grinned. "Anything??".

Rainbow walked over to her and leaned real close to her cheek. She stuck her tongue out and locked her cheek.

"Gah!! Rainbow".

Rainbow giggled and backed away. Applejack stood up and wiped the ice cream drool off her face.

"What is the matter with you??".

Rainbow smirked. "What??. You said anything for me".

Applejack rolled her eyes. "Ah didn't mean that you could like mah face".

The blonde sat down and finished her cone. Rainbow was chewing up the last of her waffle cone. Applejack stared at her for a few minutes. Rainbow looked at her. Her eyes narrowed.

"Why are you planning to slowly kill me??".

Applejack laughed. "Ah can't with you".

Rainbow raised an eyebrow. She watched her girlfriend and licked the ice cream off her lips. Applejack found it hilarious the way she way attempting to reach her tongue to her cheek.

"You get all weird on me when we have ice cream outside. Why??".

Rainbow shrugged. "Deal with it", she said.

Applejack smirked and got up. "Escuse me little girl??. Ah don't think you know who you're talkin' to".

Rainbow saw that look in her eyes. She got up.

"No. Applejack stop".

Applejack chased after girl. The two ran around the yard. Finally Rainbow was trapped between Applejack and the pool.

"Ya got nowhere ta go", Applejack said smirking.

Rainbow smiled back. "Well. I can't go foward unless I wanna be tickled.to death. I can't do left or right".

Rainbow smirked. "But I can go".

She lifted her foot back.

"Back and under".

With that she jumped backwards. She plunged into the water. She then heard a splash from under the water. Shit.

Rainbow surfaced and wiped the water out of her face. She looked around.

"Where did she-".

Suddenly Rainbow Dash was grabbed around her waist. She screamed. She turned around and saw Applejack. The blonde began to tickle her sides, dragging her to the shallow side.

Rainbow laughed and laughed. She couldn't get away. The poor girl was at the mercy of her girlfriend.

"Payback time!!".

Rainbow giggled continuously. She begged the girl to let her go.

"Let me go hahaha!!. I surrender".

Applejack grinned. "What??".

Rainbow laughed even harder. "I give up. Haha I'm sorry!!".

Applejack grinned. She let the girl breath. Rainbow took a minute to breathe".

Applejack smiled. "You're so cute", she said.

Rainbow giggled. "Well I'm cute. Ice cream is awesome and you're difficult".

Applejack's mouth opened. She grinned. "Is that so??".

Rainbow's eyes widened. Uh oh. Not again.
