Rainbow's main focus was on the ball. It balanced on her knee perfectly.

She stuck her tongue out in concentration. She counted down in her head.

10, 11, 12

Suddenly an object smacked into the back of her head with a loud clunk!

The soccer ball fell to her head, along with the teen. She touched the back of her head and turned around. She saw the football team standing there. Rainbow stood up, her head throbbing. Her eyes scanned the ground. She saw a softball on the ground a foot away from her.

"Hey!!", she shouted. "You bozos. Don't you know that a soft ball could cause some serious damage??".

Wrong move. The captain of the football team walked up to her. Grabbing her by the wrist her held in tightly.

"Now listen here skittled freak. You don't talk to us like that".

He twisted her arm. Not enough to break it but enough for it to really hurt. Rainbow cried out in pain.

"Ahh!!".

"Show some respect. We control the school and I'm not about to let some little girl like you talk back to me".

"I'm sorry. I-I won't do it again", Rainbow cried. "Please let me go".

"Let her go!!".

Suddenly the guy was pulled away and shoved onto the ground. Rainbow was let go. She held her wrist.

There stood Applejack. The captain of the soccer and girls basketball team. She did not look happy.

"Blaze. How dare you. Usin' your strength and social status ta push people around. If any of you touch her like that again, I'm gunna your tell coach and then you'll be kicked out school and the team".

Blaze got up. He glared at Applejack before walking away, his team with him.

Applejack turned to Rainbow Dash.

"Are you alright??. Did he hurt cha??".

Rainbow nodded. She looked down at her wrist. She had a bruise around her arm. It hurt alot.

"What happened??".

Rainbow took a shaky breath.

"Well I was just here playing with my soccer ball when I was hut with something hard. I turned around and I saw the basketball team there. That guy that hurt me had thrown a softball at my head. It hurts alot now. I told him that he could have hurt me with that and then he got mad and walked up to me and twisted my arm".

"What's your name??".

"Rainbow Dash".

Applejack smiled. "Well its nice ta meet cha Rainbow Dash. You probably know me already".

Rainbow nodded. "Yeah. You're Applejack".

Applejack nodded. "Let's getcha to the nurse and get some ice".

Rainbow nodded. The two walked I to the school. They went to the nurse. The nurse gave her a Tylenol and two ice packs. One for her head and one for her wrist.

The girls walked out.

"Thank you", Rainbow said. "I don't know what would've happened if you hadn't shown up".

Applejack smiled. "Well you're welcome. So, do you have any friends??".

Rainbow shook her head. Applejack then said, "Well, come sit with me and mah friends".

Rainbow smiled. "Okay".
