"Are we there yet??".

Applejack rolled her eyes.

Silence.

"What about now??".

Applejack glanced over at Rainbow Dash.

"Babe. You've asked that like 3 times in the last minute. No, we are not-"

"WE'RE HERE!!".

Applejack had to press on the break. She looked at Rainbow then ahead. She could see the entrance to the beach ahead. The blonde sighed and smiled at her girlfriend.

"Yeah. We are finally here".

They got their stuff and got out. Rainbow was smiling like an idiot as she picked up her bag. The two walked on down till they heard the crashing of the waves.

Applejack released a breath and looked around. The beach was mostly empty today so they wouldn't be disturbed.

Rainbow put her hands on her hips and smiled.

"I'm the queen of the beach".

Applejack laughed as she

"Okay. Let's set our stuff up. Sun screen up RD".

Rainbow groaned. She sat down onto her towel, putting the cooler down beside their bags. The teens took out their towels and goggles. Rainbow took off her beach dress. She had on a blue bikini underneath. She stood up

Applejack smiled.

"Hold up their sally. Sit down and put on sun screen".

Rainbow flopped back down. Applejack took out the sunscreen and the bottles of water. The girls put it on and they stood up.

Rainbow tugged on Applejack's hands, pulling her along. The blonde smiled. The girls ran down to the water's edge. Rainbow stopped and looked our at ocean, smiling.

Suddenly she was scooped up. She gasped and laughed. Applejack spun around, laughing. Rainbow Dash held onto her as Applejack walked into the water.

Wheen Applejack got waist deep Rainbow held on to her tighter.

"It's alright babe. Ah won't letcha go".

Rainbow was lowered into the water. She held on to Applejack like her life depended on it.

"Don't put me down", she whined.

Applejack laughed and held her up. The water made the 16 year old feel like she was 2.

"C'mon babe. Let's actually swim", she said.

She let Rainbow go and and they put their goggles on. Diving underwater, the two looked at eachother. Rainbow waved slowly, swimming around. Applejack waved back. They came up for air.

Rainbow pushed her hair out of her face and laughed.

"Let's go exploring!!".

The girls swam out further. Well Applejack swam, with Rainbow on her back.

"I think this is far enough".

Applejack smirked.

"Ready??".

Rainbow nodded. Applejack dove underwater. The girls looked around. It was so beautiful. The water was clear. They saw a coral reef. Little fish swam around. There were so many colors.

Rainbow let go and swam around, staying near Applejack.

The girls eventually had to go uo for air. They spent quite a bit of time swimming around and laughing and exploring the reefs.

"Hey", Rainbow said. "Can we go eat nooow??. I'm hungryyyyy".

Applejack smiled. "Sure".

Rainbow wrapped her arms around Applejack's neck.

"Carry me".

Applejack rolled her eyes but did it anyways. She dragged Rainbow's lazy butt back to shore, with Rainbow making train noises. It was kinda cute though Applejack wouldn't dare say it outloud.

When they could stand Applejack shove Rainbow off. The teens giggled and tried to run out of the water but the waves sucked them back in.

"Stupid waves!!", Rainbow yelled.

She dragged herself out, Applejack coming up beside her. They walked over to their set up. Applejack made sure everything was still there. It was.

They sat down on their towels while Applejack opened a bag of ruffles potato chips. Rainbow dried her hands and began to eat the crunchy snack. The girl crunched on them purposely loud.

Applejack took out a sandwich from a plastic bag. Biting into it she looked at Rainbow Dash. The girl was giving her a puppy face.

"There's one fir you too".

Applejack handed Rainbow her sandwich which the girl happily smiled and took it. They ate their lunch. By then it was around six o'clock and the sun was starting to go down. Rainbow looked around at the sand as she ate hr sandwich and chips.

She suddenly grinned.

"Hmm".

Applejack raised an eyebrow.

"Ah don't like that look. Stay".

Rainbow looked at her. "What look??".

Applejack crossed her arms.

"Every time ya grin like that an say hmm is when you're plannin ta do somethin crazy. Spill".

Rainbow shrugged. "I just wanted to taste the sand. Nothing that mad. I mean it smells good".

Applejack face palmed.

"Ya can't eat sand. Just like ya can't eat dirt. It ain't good and it could hurt cha".

Rainbow shrugged. "Maybe".

Applejack shook her head. "Where do ya get these crazy thoughts from??".

Rainbow shrugged. "Don't know. But I do know that I'm awesome".

Applejack smiled. "Yes you are. Finish up eat'n".

Rainbow shoved the rest of her sandwich into her mouth. Chewing on it she looked at Applejack and gave her a thumbs-up.

Applejack sighed. "Okay then".

They finished eating. Well, kinda. Rainbow refused to out the bag of chips away. So they kept it out and took it with them over to the wet sand area. Kneeling down the two teens make a sandcastle. Rainbow created a Moar around the castle.

Sitting back they looked at their work.

"That looks so cool!!", Rainbow said.

Applejack crossed her arms and nodded.

"Ah think so too".

Rainbow looked at the taller girl and leaned on her.

"What now??".

Applejack shrugged. "Wanna take a nap??".

Rainbow nodded. The two walked over to their towels and laid down. They put their shades on and fell asleep.

"Wake up!!".

Applejack forced her eyes opened. She took her shades. She saw Rainbow Dash sitting there.

"Hiiii".

Applejack smiled and sat up. She looked around.

It was getting dark.

"Woah. How long did we sleep??".

Rainbow grinned. "No. You slept. I woke up a while ago and did that".

Applejack stood up. She gasped. Rainbow had carved into the wet sand RD+AJ.

"Awww Rainbow".

Applejack grabbed Rainbow Dash and kissed her cheek.

"That's so sweet of ya".

Rainbow blushed. "I-I just thought I'd do something nice for ya".

Applejack wrapped her arms around her waist.

"Thanks RD".

Rainbow smiled and turned her head.

"Look".

Applejack turned her head. She saw a beautiful sunset.

"Woah. That's so pretty", Rainbow said.

"I love sunsets".

Applejack pulled her down to a sitting. A breeze want by, making them shiver. They put their sun dresses back on.

Rainbow leaned on Applejack's chest and sighed.

"The prettiest sunset I've ever seen", she said quietly.

Applejack nodded. "Agreed".

"Hey Applejack??".

"Yeah??".

Rainbow wrapped her arms around her in a hug.

"I love the beach".

Applejack chuckled. "Me too".

Rainbow looked at her.

"Can we come back next week??", she asked cheerfully.

The blonde teen poked her nose. "Sure. Whenever you want".
