Rainbow looked around nervously. She was waiting for her girlfriend Applejack. They were going to hang out with a friend's of Applejack. Rainbow hadn't met them before. She was nervous.

"Rainbow!!".

Rainbow turned around. She saw Applejack walking towards her. She smiled.

"Hi".

Applejack stood in front of her.

"Ready??", she asked.

Rainbow shook her head.

"Do I have to meet them??", she asked. "You know I don't do well with new people. What if-".

Rainbow was cut off with a hand on her mouth.

"Babe. Don't start the what's ifs. Cause then you'll give yourself ah panic attack".

Rainbow could feel her nerves rising, her heart pounding. What if they didn't like her??. What if she wasn't good enough for them and make fun of her??. What if they make fun of her shaking??. What if she start to stutter??.

Her breathing quickened. Her body was shaking. Applejack noticed.

"Rainbow!!".

Rainbow looked at her. Applejack placed a hand on her cheek.

"You'll be okay. If they make fun of you then I'll tell em off fir ya. They wouldn't do that anyway. Ah have known them fir a long time and ah know you'll like em and they'll like you".

Applejack felt Rainbow shaking. She took her shaking hand.

"Shhhh. Calm down".

Rainbow took a deep breath. She nodded.

"Okay".

The girls walked away from the park to the field. Applejack and Rainbow saw a group of girls sitting down by a tree. Rainbow realized that they were the girls she was going to meet??. She realized that those girls were the keepers of the elements of Harmony. They were known throughout the world.

She stopped and looked at Applejack.

"Why didn't you tell me you were friends with the keepers of the elements of harmony??", she asked.

Applejack sighed. "Cause ah knew you would be even more nervous. Your anxiety would sky rocket. Last time you met someone important you threw up because you were so nervous.

Rainbow looked back at the girls. She bit her lip. Rainbow clutched the necklace that was around her neck. It helped her so she wouldn't freak out.

Applejack took her hand.

"You don't have to talk to em'. Just wave. They know you get like this when ya meet people so they understand if ya dont satyanythin".

Rainbow noddd. "Okay".

Applejack smiled. The two girls headed towards them. Somewhere halfway to them Rainbow's feet planted into the ground and she refused to walk any further. Applejack had to drag her over to them.

"No. Applejack don't make me go", Rainbow begged.

Applejack held her around the waist.

"C'mon they're right there", she said.

Rainbow was put down. Her eyes widened. The girls stared at her.

"Hey".

Rainbow was frozen in place. She looked at Applejack. The blonde smiled at the girls.

"Hey guys. This is Rainbow Dash. Mah girlfriend. As you tell she's a bit nervous".

"Well hi", one said. "I'm Twilight Sparkle".

Rainbow looked at her. The girl had a book in her hand. She looked like a smart person.

"I'm Fluttershy", a girl with pale pink hair said quietly. "It's nice to meet you".

Rainbow waved, slightly hiding behind Applejack.

"I'm Rarity", a girl purple styled hair said smiling. She looked she was a fashion critic.

"Hi!!".

Rainbow jumped. A girl with poofy curly pink hair waved at her, smiling widely.

"Pinkie Pie!!", the girl named Rarity scolded. "She's scared enough as it is. Please quiet down".

Pinkie smiled. "Oops. Sorry. I'm just excited to finally meet you. Applejack said you were amazing".

Rainbow looked at Applejack. She smiled a bit.

"You did??", she whispered.

Applejack smiled at her and nodded.

"Coarse ah did. How can ah not talk about you??.

Rainbow blushed.

Applejack reached into her pocket. She took out a candy bar. Rainbow's eyes widened. Applejack smirked and waved the candy bar in front the girl's face.

"You want it??".

Rainbow nodded her eyes following the candy.

"Well first, ah want you to talk to the girls".

"Huh??".

Rainbow looked at her. Applejack nodded.

"Yup. Ah want you to say something to each of them. Somethin' nice".

Rainbow gulped. She looked around at the girls. She looked at Applejack nervously.

"Do I have to??", she asked.

Applejack nodded. "You haven't said a word ta them. If ya want the candy, ya gotta do it".

Rainbow looked at the girls again, biting her lip. She scrunched her shoulders up and slowly took a step foward.

She looked back at the blonde.

"You sure this is a good idea??".

Applejack nodded. She stayed next to her.

"Ah'm right here babe. Nothing's gunna happen to ya".

Rainbow looked back. She looked at Twilight and gulped.

"Uh.......I....... you look smart".

Twilight smiled. "Thanks. Usually I'm told I look like a nerd".

Rainbow looked back at Applejack. She motioned her foward. Rainbow felt her heart racing. Next was Fluttershy. She walked over to the teen.

"Uhhhh..... I like your dress and your hair. It's long".

Fluttershy smiled. "Thank you".

Rainbow counted two down. Two to go. She could do this. She walked up to Rarity. Rarity smiled at her.

Rainbow looked her up and down.

"Ummmmmm you're very...... I like your clothes. Not my style but it's look really nice on you".

Rarity smiled at her. "Why thank you darling".

Rainbow smiled back. She looked at Pinkie, eyes widening. She looked at Applejack.

"But she's loud", she whispered.

Applejack smiled.

"She won't bite ya. Right Pinkie??".

Pinkie nodded. "Righty".

Rainbow walked up to her. Pinkie grinned and waved excitedly.

Rainbow's shoulders were scrunched up. She looked at the ground then back up.

"Uhhhh. You're very happy. That's nice".

She looked at Applejack.

"Is that all of them??", she asked. Applejack nodded. She held out the candy. Rainbow reached to take it when it was pulled out of reach. Applejack smirked.

"Get it".

Applejack played keep away. She held the candy out of reach. Rainbow chased the candy around Applejack. It was still out of reach.

"Give it!!".

Rainbow giggled. Applejack finally gave it to her. Rainbow smiled when she finally had the candy in her hand.
She ate it happily.

"Thank you", she said chewing on the chocolate.

Applejack wrapped her arms around her waist. She smiled.

"See??. That wasn't very hard, now was it??".

Rainbow looked at her.

"Yes it was. I nearly had a heart attack".

Applejack rolled her eyes. "No you didn't. You're fine".

Rainbow finished her chocolate bar. She put the wrapper in her pocket.

"That was nice", she sighed.

Applejack looked at Fluttershy. She walked over to her. Rainbow saw Fluttershy give something to her but Applejack hid it behind her back.

AJ walked up to her.

"Look what ah got".

She held out Rainbow's soccerball. Rainbow's eyes widened.

"How did they get that??. I've been looking for that", she whined.

Applejack smiled. "You wanna play with me??. The girls can watch".

Rainbow nodded. She took the ball and kicked it down the field. Applejack looked at her friends.

"Now you get to see when she's in her comfort zone".

The girls sat down. They watched the two play. Rainbow as usual beat Applejack. The blonde was exhausted but Rainbow bounced around with the ball in circles around her.

"That was fun. Can we get ice cream. I love ice cream but you know that but can we??. All of us??. Now that I think about I think candy is gunna take over the world one day. I mean think about it. We eat candy so one day the candy will eat us".

Applejack stood there with a straight face as Rainbow walked around her in circles talking complete nonsense.

"I'm pretty sure we wouldn't taste very good. But then again, if we don't then why do sharks and bears and stuff take a bite out of humans every now and again??. If they don't spit us back out then humans must taste somewhat good".

Applejack giggled. "Ah don't think we do. Where do ta get these crazy idea from??".

Rainbow smiled. "My friend Soarin. He's always talking about how spoons have kids with forks and tha Rd how sporks were made. But I don't think so".

Applejack smiled. "Me neither. Just tell him ta stop talkin nonsense before you actually believe him".

Rainbow grinned. "Yeah he's weird".

Applejack hugged her from behind. Rainbow giggled. Applejack suddenly picked her up, making her drop the ball. She held onto Rainbow tightly and spun her. Rainbow laughed.

"Hehe stop it".

Applejack stopped spinning. She grinned and poked the younger girl's side. Rainbow squirmed in her arms as she was tickled.

"Applejack", she laughed. Her laughter was loud. The girl tried to get away but was trapped.

"No please. I surrender", she laughed.

"Who's the best girl in the world??", Applejack asked.

Rainbow laughed. "You are. You're are. Now let me go. I can't breath hahaha!!".

Applejack stopped and let her breath. Rainbow laughed. She sighed smiling.
"You're funny", she said.

Applejack smiled. "Ah'm funny and you're cute".

Rainbow smiled. She turned to look at the girls. She smiled at them. She waved them over. The girls got up and walked over to the couple.

"It's great to see you not so nervous anymore", Twilight said. "You're funny".

"Awww Applejack", Rarity said smiling. "You didn't mention she had such a youthful spirit. It's so cute when she laughs. How tall are you dear??".

"I'm 4'11", Rainbow replied. The girls were shocked.

"Really??. How old are you??", Twilight asked.

"16".

Rarity gave an awww. "Awww she's the baby of us all".

Rainbow looked at the ground blushing. She looked up at Applejack.

Applejack laughed. "Oh yeah. Ah firget ta tell ya that they're older than you. By only a year or two".

Rainbow suddenly felt shy again. She played with her hands. Applejack took her hand.

"Excuse us fir a minute", she said.

Applejack pulled Rainbow a good distance away.

"So. What do you think??".

Rainbow looked at her.

"They're okay".

Applejack thought for a second. She pulled Rainbow over to Twilight.

"Rainbow here loves Darin' Do", she said.

"Really??. I live Daring Do too".

Rainbow looked at Twilight shocked.

"Yeah. I've read all of her books that I could".

Twilight smiled. "Which one is your favorite??".

"Ummm The quest for the sapphire stone".

"I love that one".

The two sat down, having a conversation about the book and their idea for others. Applejack was happy that she was finally opening up to them. She was afraid of how Rainbow would react to them. She wasn't surprised when Rainbow went silent at first in fear of saying something wrong but then she was able to get her to say something to them. Now she was having things in common with them and having a real conversation.

They spent the whole day talking and getting to know eachother. Applejack sat beside Rainbow Dash the whole time. She gave Rainbow some reassurance when the teen got nervous or her anxiety was rising.

"That's a beautiful necklace", Rarity said.

Rainbow smiled and looked down.

"Thanks".

"Uh guys??", Twilight interrupted. "We gotta go now".

The girls were disappointed. They stood up. Rainbow looked at the time. 3:56 pm.

Wow. Time went fast.

"It was nice meeting you Rainbow Dash", Twilight said smiling.

Rainbow smiled back. "It was nice meeting you too. Sorry if I was a bit antisocial".

"It's fine darling. It happens to alot of people", Rarity said.

The girls said goodbye and walked their own way.

"Well. I like them", Rainbow said.

Applejack smiled and picked her up. She gave her a piggyback ride.

"Well Ah'm glad you do. Hi u were terrified of em at first. You weren't even nervous once you got use to them.

"Oh I was. My heart was going a mile a minute".

Applejack looked up at Rainbow.

"Don't worry. Ah'm sure you'll warm up to them. They're awesome and they like you".

Rainbow let out a sigh.

"I hope I won't have a panic attack in front of them. I hate anxiety".

Applejack nodded.

"Me too".
