Rainbow looked between the them. Her mom or the girls. She wasn't sure what to do.

"I......I....".

Rainbow Dash didn't know what to do. Should she choose the girls that, even though they tried to kill her a few times, cared about her and wanted to be her friends......... or her mother. The person that raised her to be who she was now.

Rainbow Dash looked at the girls. She made eyes contact with Applejack. She couldn't do it. Rainbow couldn't betray her like this. She looked at her mother.

"I'm staying loyal to them. I'm sorry mom".

"WHAT??!!", Nightmare Moon yelled in anger.

Rainbow wasn't fazed by the loudness. She had gotten use to her mother yelling at her.

"YOU CHOOSE THEM OVER YOUR MOTHER??!".

Rainbow nodded seriously. "Yes".

She walked backwards to stand by the others. She looked back at the girls and smiled.

They smiled back. Rainbow Dash looked back at her mom.

Suddenly her mom cringed.

"Ugh. I can't this goodness. I will return and believe I will get you".

With that Nightmare Moon dissappeared in a black flame. Rainbow stared at the spot for a moment.

"What just happened??".

The girls walked up to her.

"Where did she go??", Pinkie asked.

Rainbow sighed. "She went back home. No doubt plotting a way to kill us".

"Rainbow??", Applejack said. She walked up to Rainbow Dash. She smiled and hugged her.

"Thanks".

Rainbow looked at her. "For what??".

"Fir stay in with us. Fir not choosing your mom over us".

"Yeah thanks Rainbow Dash", Twilight said smiling.

"No problem".

Rainbow sighed. "Aw man".

Applejack frowned. "What??".

"Nothing. Don't worry about it".

"Guys. I gotta go home", Pinkie said. "My mom is probably worried".

"Me too", Twilight said. "My parents are probably worried sick".

The girls all said goodbye and left.

Applejack was laying in bed.

I wonder how Rainbow's doing. I wonder if she's alright at home. If her mom did go home like she said then Rainbow must be afraid to go home.

"I need to take a walk", Applejack said outloud. She got up and put her shoes on. She went downstairs and walked out the front door. Her parents were out of town for a few weeks so she could go out whenever.

Applejack decided to walk to the park. As she walked she couldn't help but think of Rainbow Dash. The girl was cute. Really cute. Rainbow was brave, funny, had her bad moments but she she was loyal and a good person at heart. She could see that in her.

She arrived at the park. Applejack headed to the swings. She hung out their, just swinging back and forth. As she swung something caught her eye. Stopping she looked at the slide. She saw something underneath it.

Applejack got up and walked over to the slide. She kneeled down. Applejack gasped. She saw Rainbow sleeping under the slide.

What was she doing there??. Applejack gently shook her awake. The teen groaned and opened her eyes. They widened when she saw Applejack.

"Applejack. What are you doing here??".

"Ah was takin a walk. Why were ya sleepin under the slide??".

Rainbow sat up. She shrugged.

"I can't go home".

Applejack looked at her questioningly.

"What do ya mean??", Applejack asked.

Rainbow sighed. "My mom is at our home in Everfree. If I go back I'll have to face her and she might try to kill me in my sleep".

Rainbow shrugged again. "So I'm just hanging out here. No biggie".

Applejack crossed her arms. "Nope. C'mon".

She pulled Rainbow to her feet.

"You're stayin at mah house for the night".

Rainbow back up a bit. "I-I don't think that's a good idea".

"Why??", Applejack asked.

Rainbow rubbed her neck. "Because..... because.....".

She sighed. "I can't think of anything".

Applejack took her hand and led her back to her house. Rainbow looked around.

"This is pretty nice".

Applejack smiled. "Ya hungry??".

Rainbow nodded. "But you don't have to feed me. I can go without eating until I eat lunch tomorrow".

Applejack placed a hand on her hips.

"If you don't get chur butt in the kitchen, Ah'm gunna tickle ya".

"Ha. Yeah right".

Applejack smirked. She walked over to Rainbow.

"Hold up. What's that??", Applejack asked.

Rainbow looked down. "What??".

Applejack caught her and started tickling her sides. Rainbow laughed. She tried to find off Applejack but the blonde wouldn't let up.

"Okay", Rainbow laughed. "I give up. I'll eat something. Just let me go".

Applejack smiled and stopped. Her hands stayed on Rainbow's sides. The two looked at eachother. Rainbow looked away and rubbed her neck.

The two walked into the kitchen. Applejack made some soup and served them. As they ate, Applejack couldn't help but stare at the girl in front of her.

"You okay??".

Rainbow nodded, but her face said otherwise. Applejack frowned.

"What's wrong Rainbow??".

Rainbow sighed. "My mom hates me now. Now she doesn't want anything to do with me".

Rainbow crossed her arms angrily.

"But whatever. I don't care what she says".

Applejack knew better than that. She knew Rainbow was hurt by that. The blonde teen got up and walked to very to Rainbow's side of the table. She took her hand and stood her up.

Rainbow looked down at the floor, her arms crossed.

"I don't care".

Applejack placed a hand under her chin and lifted her face up. Rainbow looked at her. Applejack smiled and kissed her forehead.

"Rainbow. Ah know you care about what your mom thinks of ya. Just know that she may not love you anymore. But ah do".

Rainbow's eyes widened. Her eyes flickered away. She didn't know what to think or say.

Applejack suddenly leaned in. Rainbow didn't stop her. She closed her eyes. She felt soft lips on hers and a hand on her waist.

Rainbow kissed back. She wrapped her arms around Applejack's neck.
Finally they pulled apart. The girls looked at eachother. Rainbow smiled.

"That was my first kiss", she admitted shyly.

Applejack was shocked. "Really??".

Rainbow Dash nodded. "I never thought I'd ever have a first kiss".

Applejack smiled. "Well ah'm happy that it was with me".

Rainbow smiled. "Me too".

"Ya know", Applejack said. "No matter what ah will always be there for ya".

Rainbow frowned. "I don't think you should though. I don't want you or the others to get hurt because of me".

Applejack took the sorceress by the hand.

"That's a chance Ah'm willin' ta take
Now c'mon. Let's get ta sleep".

The girls went upstairs. They walked into Applejack's room. The girls got into some pajamas and climbed into bed.

Rainbow looked at Applejack for a while. Applejack smiled at her.

"What??".

Rainbow shook her head.

"I just...... I've never had anyone love me before. Not even my mom".

She looked down sadly.

"Applejack??".

"Yeah??"

"Am I hideous??".

Applejack frowned.

"No. Who told you that??".

Rainbow looked away. "My mom always told me I was".

Applejack kissed her forehead.

"You're beautiful".

Rainbow smiled. "Okay. I believe you".

Applejack wrapped an arm around her waist.

"Goodnight", she said.

"Sweet nightmares", Rainbow yawned
Her eyes widened when she realized what she said.

"Uh I meant-".

"Ah know. Love you".

Rainbow relaxed and closed her eyes.

"Love you too".
