Applejack drummed her fingers on the metal lockers, the banging sound echoing. She looked around the empty hallway. Applejack let out a sigh. She was waiting for her girlfriend Rainbow Dash.

They had been dating for 2 years now. She loved Rainbow with all she had. The girl was most shy and insecure person she knew. She never believed Applejack when she called her beautiful, which was everyday.

She had ways been like that. But Applejack still loved and that just gave her another reason to be with her.

Applejack sighed.

"Hey Applejack", a voice called.

Applejack turned around. Standing there was her ex, Trixie. She walked up to Applejack. She had a look on her face that Applejack knew all too well.

"Hey".

Applejack raised an eyebrow.

"What did you do??".

Trixie smirked. "I talked to Rainbow just a few minutes ago".

Applejack growled. She grabbed her by the shirt and brought her close.

"What did you say to her?".

Trixie smirked.

"Oh nothing. I just said that you don't want he anymore andnthat you love me and that she's in the way of us being together. She ran off crying".

Applejack's eyes widened. Trixie sighed.

"Listen, we need to talk. Seriously though".

Applejack crossed her arms.

"I miss you. I really honestly do. Don't you miss me??. I love you Applejack".

Applejack stepped back.

"If ya really did you wouldn't have kissed someone else".

Trixie sighed. "I'm sorry I hurt. I really truly am sorry. I'll be a better girlfriend".

Applejack looked down. Trixie took her hand. AJ looked up. Suddenly she was against the lockers and her lips were on Trixie's. She stood there in shock.

She pushed Trixie away, wiping her mouth.

"Why did you do that??. I'm with Rainbow now and I love her".

Trixie smirked.

"Well explain that to her, if you can".

Applejack pushed her away. She ran down the hall, her backpack on. She ran out of the school. She took out her phone and called Rainbow.

"Come on babe. Pick up".
It went to voicemail.

"Come on", Applejack groaned.

She had an idea. The canterlot bridge. That's where she first met Rainbow Dash. She remembered that day exatly.

~Flashback~

Applejack walked across the bridge, looking at the ocean. It was really relaxing. Applejack passed someone. They were on the ledge!!.

Applejack stopped.

"Are you okay??.

The person turned around. It was a girl. She looked at Applejack. She looked to be her age, 14. She had Rainbow colored hair. She was beautiful. Especially her eyes. She had tears running down her face.

"We're ya planning on....... ya know.... jumpin??".

The girl shrugged.

"If I fall, I fall. Noone would care. I don't wanna kill myself but I don't mind if I fall".

Applejack sat down next to her.

"Well, it sure is nice out today".

The girl looked down.

"I'm Applejack".

The girl looked up at her.

"I'm Rainbow Dash", she said quietly.

Applejack smiled at her.

"So, uh, what made you feel like doing this?".

Rainbow began to tell her of her verbally abusive parents. She told her about how she was bullied in school and beat up everyday. She didn't have anyone to be there for her.

"So I decided that I needed to go out and come here and whatever I wanna do, I do".

Applejack placed a hand on her shoulder.

"Well, you seem like a nice person. And, you're kinda cute".

Rainbow looked at her. "You think I'm cute??".

Applejack nodded.

Rainbow snickered.

"I don't believe you".

Applejack frowned. "We'll work on that self-esteem of yours".

Rainbow looked at her. "Okay then. Good luck".

Applejack held out her hand. "How bout we get out of here and go get some smoothies??".

Rainbow looked at her hand then her face.

She slowly reached out and took her hand.
Rainbow shifted to turn around and began to slip. She screamed as she fell. Applejack gripped her hand. She held on tightly. Rainbow was dangling 200 feet in the air. If she fell, she wouldn't survive.

Rainbow looked up at her.

"Please, dont let go".

She sounded so broken. Applejack decided that she was always gunna be by her side forever. This girl needed her and she planned on being her friend for a long time.

Using all of her strength, Applejack pulled Rainbow up. She wrapped an arm around Rainbow's waist and pulled her to the other side. She held her in a hug. Rainbow clung to her.

"It's okay. You're safe now".

Rainbow looked up at her. "Thank you, for saving me".

Applejack smiled. "No problem".
~End of flashback ~

The memory ran through her mind. Applejack ran down the road. The bridge came into view. She continued to run.

Her legs screamed for her to stop but she pressed on. Running on to the bridge she looked around. She slowed down to a fast walk. Walking she looked for any signs of the girl. Suddenly she stopped.

She saw Rainbow. She took a step towards her bit stopped. This time, Rainbow was standing on the rail.

"Rainbow!!".

Rainbow turned around. She had tears running down her face.

"Why??".

Applejack looked at her confused.

"Why did you stay with me when you obviously love Trixie".

Applejack couldn't believe what she was hearing.

"What are you talking about Rainbow??".

Rainbow held out her phone. Taking it from her she looked at the phone. It was a video. She played it. Her heart sank.

She looked up at Rainbow. The girl was staring right at her, tears running down her face.

"I trusted you. I thought you loved me".

Applejack took a step closer.

"Baby, I do love you. It wasn't like that. She kissed me. She told me what she told you and then kissed me".

Rainbow looked down. Applejack's heart was beating fast. If Rainbow fell, she wouldn't have survived that.

Rainbow laughed and looked at her.

"Why did you let her??".

Applejack couldn't explain it.

"Ah can't explain. I felt frozen. You know when you're in shock asnd you can't move??".

Rainbow nodded slowly.

"It was like that. I pushed her off and then I told her that I was with you and that I love you".

Rainbow cocked her head a little.

"You do?".

Applejack nodded.

"I've always loved you. You trust me when ah say that, right".

Rainbow shrugged.

"I'm not sure anymore".

Applejack held out her hand.

"Come on baby. Please get down. Ah can't stand ta see ya standing there again. If you fall, there's no way you'll survive".

Rainbow looked down at the water. She stood there frozen.

Applejack watched her for a moment. Rainbow turned around to face her.

Suddenly she slipped. Rainbow screamed as she fell. Suddenly she stopped falling. Looking up she saw Applejack's hand in hers.

"Applejack", Rainbow whimpered.

"I'm scared. I'm gunna fall".

Applejack shook her head. "No, you're not. I've gotcha. Just hold on".

Applejack and Rainbow looked at eachother. Taking a deep breath, Applejack began to pull the smaller teen up. Rainbow got the rail with one hand.

Wrapping an arm around Rainbow's waist, Applejack pulled Rainbow to safety.

The blonde hugged her. Rainbow buried her face into her shirt.

"Don't do that again", Rainbow whispered.

Rainbow clung to her.

"It's okay, it's alright".

A minute later Applejack pulled away.

"Are you okay??. Did you get hurt??".

Rainbow shook her head. Applejack kissed her on the head and hugged her.

Rainbow hugged back.

"I'm sorry".

Applejack pulled away. "What are you sorry fir??".

Rainbow sighed. "For judging too fast. I saw the video and I believed what Trixie told me and...... I'm sorry for scaring you like that. I don't even know what I was thinking".

Rainbow looked down. Applejack placed a hand under Rainbow's chin, lifting her head.

Applejack slowly leaned in and kissed her. Rainbow kissed back, her arms around Applejack's neck.

She felt arms wrap around her waist, pulling her closer.

Pulling away the two looked at eachother.

"Ah'm just glad you're safe and with me. You okay??".

Rainbow nodded. "I am now".

Applejack looked at her as they touched foreheads. She took Rainbow's hand.

"Ah want cha to know that ah would never hurt ya. Ya know you can trust me, right??".

Rainbow smiled and nodded.

"I do now".
