Rainbow sighed. She folded the last of the laundry. Placing it on top of the other clothes, she picked the baskets of clothes.

She carried the basket sinto the kitchen. There on the counter, we're two trays. Applejack's breakfast and Applejack's dad's breakfast. With the baskets on her hip she balanced one tray on her head and held the other tray in her other arm.

This was a skill she perfected over the years she been working for the Apple family.

Walking down the hall she went to her boss's room first. Knocking on the door with her foot she waited.

"Come back later please", the man's voice called.

"I'm not feeling well. Just bring my lunch up later instead of breakfast. Sorry to bother you".

Rainbow knocked on it 3 times signaling 'okay'. It was a code she and the man had worked on since she didn't talk.

Rainbow walked down the hall to Applejack's room. She knocked on the door with her foot gently.

"Come in", Applejack's voice called. Rainbow used to elbow to turn to handle and pushed the door open with the back.

Applejack was sitting on her bed, her guitar in hand.

Rainbow smiled. Applejack saw her laod of stuff. She got up.

"You need some help??".

Rainbow looked up at the tray on her head.

"Oh right".

She took the tray off her head. Rainbow gestures her head to the tray then Applejack.

"Okay then. This one is mine".

Rainbow nodded.

"Thanks".

Rainbow smiled and turned around.

"Wait".

Rainbow looked back. Applejack walked over to her.

"Usually mah dad gets serves first".

Rainbow motioned to the hall.

Another game.

"My dad??".

Rainbow nodded. She shook her head.

"My dad didn't want his breakfast??".

Rainbow nodded.

"Why??", Applejack asked.

The teen placed the other tray down. Rainbow pointed at the hall.

"He".

Rainbow nodded. She pointed at the hall then at her mouth.

"He said".

Rainbow nodded.

She pointed to the hall then her mouth the made a sick face.

"He said he didn't feel good??".

She smiled and nodded. She picked up the tray again. Applejack frowned.

"Follow me", she ordered.

The two walked down the hall. Rainbow was curious as to where they were going. He question was soon answered. Applejack stopped in front of her dad's room. She opened it. Te two girls walked in to the room.

Applejack's dad laid sleeping. Rainbow looked at Applejack.

Applejack walked over to her DAD'S bed and sat down. She shook him awake.

"You okay??", she asked softly. The man shook his head.

"I have a bit of a cold. It is cold season".

Applejack couldn't argue with that. She looked back at Rainbow Dash.

"You should eat somethin Dad. It'll keep ya healthy".

Applejack took the tray and placed it in front of her dad. The man smiled. He looked at Rainbow.

"Thank you".

Rainbow nodded. She stood there and watched Applejack tel her dad what to eat and he agreed. She got up off the bed and sighed.

"Rainbow will come later ta get your tray".

Applejack looked at Rainbow. They walked out of the room. Closing the door Applejack smiled.

Rainbow smiled back.

"Here let me help you", Applejack said taking a basket.

She saw the basket was full her own clothes.

"I'll take this back to mah room".

Rainbow nodded.

Applejack looked at the other basket.

"Is that mah dad's clothes??".

Rainbow nodded.

"When do you clean YOUR clothes??", AJ asked.

Rainbow shrugged. She held out her hand. Applejack took out her phone. By now Rainbow memorized the password. She typed and then handed it back.

'During the night. That's when I actually have time to do something for myself'.

"Oh".

Rainbow began to walk away.

"Wait".

Rainbow turned around. Applejack walked to her.

"You uh, ya don't wanna go to the park fir a bit. You look like you need a break".

Rainbow rubbed her neck. She nodded. She held up a finger telling her 'wait a moment'.

She walked down the hall and out of sight. Applejack waited for her right there. A few minutes later Rainbow came back, changed.

She smiled. Applejack looked her up and down. She wore a white t-shirt with a blue jecket. She also had on a pink and white skirt with short black tights underneath along with red sneaker. Applejack couldn't believe she was admitting this to herself.

Rainbow looked cute.

Applejack turned and opened her dad's room door. She poked her head inside. She saw her dad watching tv.

"We're gunna go out to the park fir a while. Call if ya need anythin".

The man nodded and winked with a smile on his face. "Be careful and have fun".

Applejack nodded. "We will, and shut up".

The man laughed as she closed the door.
Turning to Rainbow she said, "Let's go".

The two left the house. They decided to take the car. Applejack drove. The car ride was quiet for a few minutes. Applejack turned on the radio.

A song came up.

Rainbow smiled. She drummed her fingers along to the beat. She silently sang along. Applejack looked over at her from time to time.

"You must really like this song".

Rainbow nodded. She continued to "sing" along.

Once the song ended Rainbow sighed. She leaned against the window.

Finally they arrived at the park. It was a now day but surprisingly no one was there. They got out and looked around.

Rainbow's face lit up suddenly. She pulled on Applejack's hand. The blonde began to blush but Rainbow didn't notice. The country girl laughed.

"Okay okay. Ah'm comin".

Rainbow dragged her over to the swings. They both sat down. Rainbow swung back and forth smiling. The wind blew around them in a cool breeze. Rainbow was enjoying herself.

Applejack watched with with a smile. Rainbow reminded her of a little kid. But she had to admit, she thought this side of her. She was kinda cute like this. Applejack stopped right there.

She thought Rainbow Dash was cute??. Looking back at the silent girl. The look on her face was priceless. That smile made her heart flutter.

Applejack sighed quietly. Yup, she liked Rainbow Dash. Oh boy.
