Final chapter!! Ahh yes all good things must come to an end but I hope you all enjoyed and I can't wait to see what else my brain thinks of next cuz I really enjoyed writing this and it was fun letting my fantasy side come. Applejack bit her lip nervously. She paced back and forth slowly. Twilight and Pinkie watched their friend boredly. The two looked at eachother.

"Applejack", Twilight spoke up.

Applejack looked at her.

"You'll pace a hole in the carpet at this rate. Please calm down. All your worrying is making me worry".

"Applejack", the king spoke up.

The blonde looked at him.

"I'm sure she is fine", he said.

Applejack sighed. "You weren't there and you didn't hold her. Ya'll don't understand. The last thing she said before she defeated Thunderstorm was ah love you Applejack. How can ah just not be worried about her after she died and then came back ta life in mah arms??".

Twilight stood up. She walked over to Applejack. Placing a hand on her shoulder, she said, "We're worried  about her too. She's our friend. She knew the risk she was taking when she defeated her uncle. She knew she would die and we have to give her some credit. Knowing that you're about to basically sacrifice your life for the people you love and your kingdom is heart breaking. We need to be there for her when we see her. You need to be calm and collected so you can be with her".

Applejack nodded and took a deep breath.

"Sorry bout that".

Twilight smiled. "Don't be. We're all nervous. She was really sick".

Suddenly the doors opened to Rainbow's bedroom. The royal medic flew out and closed the door. Everyone turned to look at him.

"She'll be just fine. I gave her the antidote and she's already gaining back her strength. She'll be back to normal by tomorrow I assure you".

"Thank you", the king said standing.

The medic bowed and left.

The group looked at eachother.

"You go first your highnesses".

The King and Queen Eden nodded. They walked in, closing the door behind them.

Applejack yawned. She was exhausted but wanted to see Rainbow first before going to bed.

The girls sat down against the wall, side by side and talked. They talked about how crazy their adventure was.

"That dragon really wanted us dead", Applejack laughed.

"Rember when I said, hey ugly over here??. The thing actually looked at us", Pinkie giggled. She and Twilight laughed.

"I never thought I'd here myself say this", Twilight said. "But I was SO glad when you cut that dragon's head off".

Applejack smiled. "Me too", she said.

Suddenly the door opened. Rainbow's parents walked out smiling.

"We're heading off to our chambers. Goodnight".

The two flew down the hall and out of sight.

"You girls go", Applejack said. "Ah wanna see her alone".

Twilight and Pinkie nodded. They stood up and walked inside. Applejack sighed. This day had been crazy. She went back and reflected on what Rainbow had said.

I love you Applejack

Did Applejack love her back??

Applejack snickered. What a stupid question. Of coarse she loved her back. How could she not??. Rainbow was smart, brave, caring, giving, she gave up her life to save her people for crying out loud.

How could anyone not fall for Rainbow. She was also cute and funny and she needed Applejack. Noone had ever needed Applejack. It felt good to have someone need you around. To protect.

"Hello?? Avalen to Applejack".

Applejack jumped. She looked up and saw Twilight and Pinkie standing there. The two smiled.

"You can go see her now", Pinkie said.

"We're going to our rooms. Goodnight".

Applejack stood up. The three hugged.

"G'night. See ya in the mornin".

The girls walked away tiredly. Applejack watched them leave before looking back at the bedroom door. She walked up to the door and turned the handle. Applejack took a deep breath and opened the door. She stepped into the room, closing the door behind her with a soft click.

She saw Rainbow sitting on her bed. The princess saw her and stood up. Applejack smiled. Rainbow ran over to her. Applejack caught her and hugged her.

"Don't ever do that ta me again", the blonde said.

Rainbow had her arms around her neck, her face buried in the crook of her neck.

They pulled away. Applejack put her down and smiled.

"Ah......Ah don't even know what ta say. Ah am so glad you're alright".

Rainbow smiled.

"Im so glad you're alright too. You look exhausted".

Rainbow frowned. "You should get to bed".

Applejack shook her head. "Rainbow. You died".

Rainbow stood there. Applejack had tears in her eyes.

"You died and ah wasn't there ta stop it. You got kidnapped and ah wasn't there. Ah am so sorry fir everything you were put through in that dark hell".

Rainbow took her hands, shaking her head.

"Nonono Applejack. It wasn't your fault. You weren't there because you were home. You have your life back in the human world. I know you can't be with me all the time. I understand. I don't blame you".

Applejack hugged her.

"Ah held you and you didn't wake up and ah knew........ I wasn't gunna be able to save you this time".

Rainbow smiled and pulled away.

"But you were there when I needed you. You were the first face I saw when I woke up. That's the best thing I could have ever asked for".

Applejack dried her tears.

"You died-".

"Applejack please. I'm okay", Rainbow said.

"Let me finish", Applejack said.

Rainbow stayed quiet.

"The worse part was", Applejack sighed. "You died.........before ah could tell you how much ah love you".

Rainbow's mouth fell open a little. She had a small smile on her face.

"Ah do. Ah love you. Ah knew ah did when ah saved you from fallin' off that cliff. When you were taken, ah was prepared ta go ta hell and back to get chu back".

Applejack took her into her arms.

"Ah love you too Rainbow".

Rainbow was smiling. The two looked into eachother's eyes. Applejack leaned in and kissed her. Rainbow kissed back, her heart pounding in her chest. The two girls pulled away. Applejack smiled down at her.

She laughed. "You are beautiful but you look ah mess at the same time".

Rainbow giggled.

"Says the girl that has blood on her......wait blood??!!".

Rainbow'seyes widened as she stepped back.

The blonde chuckled. "Yeah. Ah kinda chopped the dragon's head off".

Rainbow smiled. She looked down at her clothes.

"Woah. You're right. Ah do look pretty bad".

Applejack wrapped her arms around her waist.

"Yeah. We both do".

Rainbow suddenly yawned.

"I am so tired I could sleep for a thousand moons".

Applejack giggled and scooped her up. She carried her to the bed and put her down. Taking off her shoes, Applejack climbed in. The guards got comfortable. Applejack blew out the candle lamp.

"Goodnight".

Applejack took the princess's hand.

"Ah love you".

"I love you too".

"We thank you for your sacrifice to save our people".

Rainbow smiled at Applejack and the girls. They were having a ceremony to celebrate and thank the girls for saving Avalen. They were in the village. It was a beautiful sunset out. All the fairies were gathered in the town.

The king and queen stood there with their advisors.

"And to princess Rainbow. Who gave her life for Avalen but was given it back".

The crowd cheered. The king stepped up and gave each girl a medal of honor.

"You know", he said. "You girls had made a magnificent change in Avalen.  I never thought humans would have accomplished something like this. I was wrong. And Applejack".

Applejack looked up.

"I cant thank you enough for what you did. You've saved my daughter's life so many times. She has also found a hero and a lover in you. Take good care of her heart as you did with her".

Applejack smiled and nodded. "Thank you".

The king looked at Rainbow.

"Now Rainbow. You don't know just how proud of you I am. Facing Thunderstorm alone, sick and afraid, you went through so much. You gave your life for us all. That is what a true future queen what do".

Rainbow smiled at her father. The man held a crown in his hand.

"Now. Here is a gift I wanted to give you when you were older", he said. "But I think now is a good time. This crown contains magic in it. Maybe it'll give the magic that Thunderstorm had stolen from you back. Who knows".

Rainbow smiled as the golden crown was placed on her head.

Suddenly a light came from it. It swirled around Rainbow. The bright  light made everyone shield their eyes.
It faded and everyone looked back. They gasped.

Rainbow rubbed her eyes. She looked around. Everyone was staring at her.

"Um yes??".

Applejack walked up to her. She said, "look at your back".

Rainbow raised am eyebrow and looked back. She gasped, her hand flying to her mouth.

"I have wings".

Rainbow smiled. On her back there were a pair of beautiful rainbow colored sparkly wings. Rainbow looked at her father. She ran over to her parents and hugged them.

"I have wings!!", she exclaimed joyfully.

Her parents had tears in their eyes. They hugged her. Pulling away Rainbow said, "can I test them??".

The king nodded. "I don't see why not".

The king walked with his daughter over to the grassy area. Taking his hand Rainbow took a deep breath.

She fluttered her wings slowly then picking up speed. Her feet lifted off the ground. She was a little wobbly at first but then she got her bearings.

The princess laughed. The king had her fly in circles around him. The two lifted off into the air.

The crowd cheered for their princess. Rainbow hugged her father. The king smiled.

Pulling away he said, "I am so proud of you".

Rainbow had tears of joy in her eyes. She flew down to the girls. The four hugged.

"Wow".

Pinkie jumped excitedly.

"You look amazing".

Applejack and Rainbow smiled at eachother.

"Wanna go for a flight??", Rainbow asked.

The girls nodded.

The ran over to their waiting pegasi. Kicker was greeted by Rainbow. The pegasi looked happy.

"Just like old times Ole pal", Rainbow said smiling.

Kicker flapped his wings happily. The girls lifted off into the air. Rainbow flew right beside them. Her parents weren't that far behind her. Flying right next to Applejack she laughed. The blonde held her hand.

"I cant believe it. I'm flying"

The girls smiled.

"So where we headin to??", Applejack asked.

"How about lovers meadow??".

"Sounds good ta me. How bout you gals??".

Twilight and Pinkie agreed.

Rainbow wobbled a little when a breeze came by. Applejack clutched her hand.

"Don't worry", she said her blonde hair flowing in the wind. "I'll be right here if you need me".

Rainbow smiled at the hunter.

"You're always there when I need you".

Applejack smiled. "And I will always be there when you need me. Ah promise".

"I know".

Ahhh so beautiful!! This gave me feels writing this ending!!! So like always tel what you thought of the story and I hope you enjoyed this and man I'm giving a speech.
