Applejack looked up at the castle. It was huge. The castle was a gold color. It had guards outside the castle entrance. They bowed.

"You're highness", one man said.

"The queen is worried sick. You might wanna go see her as soon as possible".

The king nodded. They walked inside.

"Woah".

The girls looked around. The castle was amazing. Stone walls, covered with paintings, and colored decorations. There was a red rug that covered the floor.

"You like??", Rainbow asked.

AJ nodded. She looked at the paintings.

"These are cool", she said.

"Thank you. I painted some of them", the king said.

The three girls looked at him shocked.

"Really??".

The king nodded smiling.

"Yup. I painted this one before Rainbow was born", he said pointing to a painting of a meadow full of red poppies.

"Ooo. What about this one??", Pinkie asked.

The king turned to look. "Ah, that one. I painted that when Rainbow was 10".

Rainbow smiled at her dad. "I like it", she said.

Applejack looked at all the different types of paintings as they walked. They arrived at to what seemed to be the throne room. There were three thrones on a platform.

"Wow", Applejack said in awe. There were paintings on every wall in gold frames. The there was also tall pillars with green vines wrapped around them.

"Rainbow!!".

Applejack, Pinkie, and Twilight saw a woman hurrying towards them. She was had a crown on her head.

The girls realized that she was the queen.

The queen hurried over to them, she pulled Rainbow into a hug.

"My darling", she said sounding relieved.

"Mom", Rainbow said smiling.

Rainbow hugged her back.

The queen pulled away and looked down at Rainbow with worry.

"Are you alright??. Your father and I heard that you were in danger. He left as soon they found you. I was afraid when they said it was stormknights. Please, tell me everything".

The girls noticed that the queen looked just like Rainbow but with beautiful white skin. She had Rainbow's eyes and hair. She also had very beautiful wings that glowed when they fluttered.

The queen looked up at the king.

"Lightening", she said. "What happened??".

The king smiled. "I think you should ask them".

He motioned to the girls. The queen looked at them.

The girls bowed.

"These girls saved her life", the king explained."I don't know how they did it but when I got there the stormknights were wounded and being taken out. One was unconscious".

The queen looked surprised. She looked back at them. She smiled.

"You're human. I would have never thought that human and fairies would meet. Why did you save her??".

Applejack looked back at her friends before answering.

"Well, you see. Rainbow is mah friend. Ah met her a a few months ago. I've met your husband as well. We were in the forest when we heard Rainbow. We hurried ta where she was and we saw two guys. They were dressed in black and dark purple. They had ropes tied ta Rainbow's wrists and we're try'na drag her away but she put up a good fight from what ah saw".

Pinkie nodded. "Yeah. We fought them off. Me and Twilight took on the smaller guy while Applejack here fought off the bigger guy. He looked really tough. We don't see many guys like them around and they had wings to that to totally blew us away".

The pink-haired teen looked at the blonde.

"Ah remember that he was about ta hurt me when a ball of light hit him. It was Rainbow so Ah'm guessin that she has some power with light or somethin. Ah took mah sword and struck him in the side while he was distracted. Ah grabbed his sword. That's when the fairy men came. They took him away and the other guy".

The queen nodded.

"Thank you so much for saving Rainbow. How could we ever repay you??".

"There's no need fir that.", Applejack said. "We don't need any repayment".

Suddenly Pinkie tapped her shoulder. The blonde turned to her.

"What do we tell everyone when we get home??", Pinkie asked.

"They're probably wondering where we are. How can we dissappear into the forest all day to hunt and come home really late with nothing??".

Applejack had forgotten about that. She hadn't realized that they had a life outside this world.

"Ah don't know Pinkie. We'll have to come up with something".

"They're not gunna be happy when we get home without food".

"And ah don't think ah could eat anymore oatmeal this week", Applejack asked.

"Do you need something to bring home??", the queen asked. "We have some deer that have recently been killed that you could bring home".

Applejack looked at her.

"Oh we couldn't ask that of you".

The queen smiled. "It's no problem. It's the least we can do for you. Rainbow can show you the way".

"Thank you your majesty", Twilight said smiling.

"You're very welcome my dear", the queen said.

"So after this we gotta go home", Applejack told the girls.

"But I don't wanna leave", Pinkie whined.

Applejack laughed. "Ah don't either but we gotta. So come on".

Rainbow led them out of the throne room and through the castle. They passed by other fairies who smiled at them.

They looked around at the other rooms they passed by.

"So, you like it in Avalen??", Rainbow asked.

"It's amazing", Applejack replied.

"I hope you come back again", Rainbow said.

Applejack smiled. "Ah'm sure what will. If your parents are okay with that".

Rainbow laughed. "They like you guys so I'm sure they won't mind. Maybe you can sleep over here one day and spend a few days in Avalen".

Pinkie Pie nodded excited. She tugged on Applejack's shirt.

"Oooh can we?? Please, can we come back??".

Applejack smiled at her childish friend.

"Of coarse we can".

"Yes!!", Pinkie cheered, jumping in the air.

Rainbow laughed. "It's in here".

The girls followed her into a room that looked like a large kitchen. Many smells were floating through the air. Fairies wearing baking clothes flew around, mixing or carrying baked goods, some flour covered.

One noticed them. It was a girl with purple wavy hair.

"Hello your highness", she said bowing.

"How can I help you??".

"They need a dead deer", she said.

The fairy smiled. "Hi. Im Cookie. Im a baker. Come with me", she said.

They followed her to a room. It was freezing in there. Applejack looked around and saw a dead deer hanging from a vine.

The fairy took the dead deer and put it in a bag.

"This'll keep the smell in place so other animals don't try to take it for their meal", the girl laughed.

She handed the bag to Applejack. The blonde picked it uo with no trouble.

"Wow, you're strong", Rainbow said.

Applejack blushed. She smiled.

"Yeah. In our world the stronger, the better".

Rainbow smiled.

"So uh, I'll take you back home. I'm sure my dad will want to come".

The four saod bye to Cookie and walked out. They headed outside of the castle. To the gates. Rainbow's parents were there with a few gaurds.

"Ready to go??", the king said.

"Oh how silly of me", the queen said suddenly. She turned to Applejack and the girls.

"I am queen Eden. And this is the king, Lightening".

Applejack shook her hand. "Ah'm Applejack and this is Twilight and this is Pinkie Pie".

The queen smiled. Turning to the king she said, "Now that we have properly met, now we can go".

Applejack, Twilight, Pinkie, and Rainbow got on their pegasi and they took off. They could see it was almost sunset. They flew over the kingdom and past waterfalls and streams.and meadows.

"Wow. It's so beautiful at sunset", Applejack said quietly.

She looked at Rainbow who was looking around. The glow around her made her look beautiful in the light.

Applejack frowned. She thought Rainbow was beautiful??. She shook the thought from her head as they a preached the portal back to their world.

The pegasi were now just hovering, their strong wings flapping.

"We'll help you through", one of the guards said.

The girls were picked up. Applejack waved back at Sunrise who whinnied.

"Bye girl".

Applejack looked down and froze. Now she understood why they had to be picked up. Because there wasn't any ground below them. Only a million feet drop to Celestia knows where.

Rainbow saw her face.

"They won't drop you", she said.

Applejack looked up. She smiled.

"Ah trust em".

They went through the portal. Applejack looked around. She and her friends were put down. The blonde breathed in the familiar smell of pine wood and moss. Turning around she smiled at them.

"Thank you. We had a wonderful time. Hopefully we can come back soon".

The king nodded. "How about tomorrow??. You could spend the night".

Applejack felt a tug on her sleeve. Turning her head she saw Pinkie giving her a pleading look. The blonde laughed.

"Okay Pinkie. We can go".

The curly haired girl smiled.

"Yay".

She skipped around. Applejack looked at Rainbow Dash. She walked over to her.

"You'll be alright without me??".

Rainbow nodded.

"I think I can manage. Still have to get these looked at though", she said holding her wrists up.

"Well I hope you get better and we'll see ya tomorrow".

Rainbow nodded. "Yeah and we can explore the kingdom. There's a few placed I want you guys to see".

Applejack smiled. "Ah'm Pinkie can't wait till them. Well we must be on our way".

Applejack bowed playfully. "Until then dear princess".

Rainbow laughed and bowed back.

"Farewell dear friends", she said in a fake regal accent".

Applejack, Twilight, and Pinkie turned and headed down through the forest. Rainbow smiled.

She looked at her dad. He was smiling at her.

"What??", she asked.

"What lovely girls. Especially Applejack. She brings out the best in you".

Rainbow smiled.

"Yeah. She's my best friend".

The king chuckled. "You like her don't cha??".

Rainbow's eyes widened.

"No. Of coarse not. Why would you-".

"I was just asking a simple question", the king laughed. "Don't need to get all defensive on me".

The man picked up his daughter and went back into the portal. Settling down on her pegasus Rainbow looked at her dad.

"Ha. Ridiculous".

"Tell that to the blush on your face", the king said before flying away laughing.

"Hey!!", Rainbow patted Kicker. The pegasi flew after the king.

"Get back here!!".
