"Come on babe", Wake up.

Applejack was sitting on her shared bed, trying to get her girlfriend out of bed.

Rainbow Dash was currently under the blanket, not making a sound.

"Babe, C'mon get out from underneath there. You'll over heat".

"Are you kidding me??. It's freezing in here".

AJ raised an eyebrow. That raised a red flag for her. Pulling the blanket off AJ gasped.

Rainbow was shivering intensely, though her skin seemed a bit pink. She had sweat on her body. She really was over heating.

Rainbow covered her eyes immediately.

"No. Too bright", she whined.

Applejack stood up. She turned the light off. She looked at her sick girlfriend.

"I'll be right back".

She quickly walked out. Getting some medicine and cold water she walked back in.

Sitting she looked down at Rainbow Dash.

"Here", she said quietly.

Rainbow sat up and glared at the medicine cup like it offended her.

AJ chuckled.

"C'mon. Open up and let me give you the medicine".

Rainbow decided then and there to be stubborn.

She laid back down.

"No".

Applejack  stared at her for a moment. She took a deep breath. Rainbow was sick so she had to be patient and gentle. Just like any other time.

"Rainbow. Ah will force this into your mouth and then you will hate me. But you can take it and get it over with".

Rainbow groaned.

"I cant move".

Applejack gently pulled the girl up to a sitting. She held out the medicine.

"Okay now take it".

Rainbow stared at the blonde as if she didn't understand her.

"Swallow the medicine", Applejack demanded.

"No. Now leave me alone".

Rainbow got out of bed.

"Where are you goin??", Applejack asked.

"To take cold bath".

The girl took out a towel and walked out. Applejack groaned and flopped onto the bed.

About a half hour later Rainbow was back in bed.

Applejack tried to get her to take something for the fever but Rainbow wouldnt.

So she did the only thing left. She had to bug her till she snapped. Applejack flipped on the lights. Rainbow pulled the blanket up over her head.

"Go away. I'm not letting you get sick and get like me".

Applejack sighed.

"No. Now you need your medicine".

"Oh my gosh. What is wrong with you??".

Applejack laughed.

"I won't leave you alone until ya take it", the blonde said standing her ground.

If looked could kill Applejack would have been long dead. The sick teen sat up.

"Why??. Why must take that??. And you can't make me".

AJ sighed.

"Why won't chu let me take care of ya??".

Rainbow crossed her arms.

"I don't need anyone to take care of me. I'm fine on my own".

Applejack sat down beside her.

"Baby. I know you've never had anyone take care of ya. Ah'm just doin mah job as a girlfriend. So let me, for once, do somethin without givin me an attitude".

Rainbow  looked at her.

"Fine".

Applejack smiled and got the medicine. Rainbow opened her mouth. As she was given the medicine finally.

Applejack  sighed in relief when Rainbow swallowed.

"There. Done".

Rainbow laid back down.

"Turn off the lights please now".

Applejack stood up and turned off the light.

"I'll be back in a while".

Rainbow nodded and closed her eyes. Applejack smiled and walked out of the room.

Walking in she saw Rainbow heard a small snore in the room. There was a ball underneath the bed.

Applejack smiled. She set down the soup bowl down and kneeled. She peeked underneath the blanket.

Rainbow was there, asleep. AJ thought she looked miserable.

"Rainbow", she whispered.

Rainbow didn't move

Reaching  her hand out she touched the girl's shoulder. Shaking her slightly, she whispered, "Rainbow, baby, wake up".

Rainbow stirred, her eyes cracking open.

"Hm??".

"Soup".

Rainbow's eyes opened at the word.

"Food??", she saod, her voice cracking.

Applejack  nodded.

"Yeah. Food".

Rainbow smiled.

"I like food".

She giggled sleepily. "And eating. Eating is the best. Do you like to eat??".

Applejack  nodded.

"I love to eat too. Do you wanna eat soup??".

Rainbow nodded. "I like soup. Soup good. Soup great".

Yup she was sick alright. Applejack pulled the blanket down and bit. She wrapped Rainbow in her arms, lifting her up.

"Wheee".

Rainbow laughed.

"Why are you so pretty??", she asked.

Applejack  smirked.

"Because I am".

"That makes sense. Perfect sense. Am I pretty??".

Applejack smiled.

"You're very pretty babe"

"Babe. That sounds like baby", Rainbow laughed quietly.

"Baby, baby, babe sounds like baby", she sang.

AJ kept a laugh in.

"I'm gunna feed you some soup okay??".

Rainbow nodded.

"Alrighty. Okay. Alright. Sure. Yeah. Yes. Yup. Why not. Don't see a reason why not".

AJ raised an eyebrow.

Picking the bowl up she began to feed the sick girl.

Rainbow laid in Applejack's arms.

"Thanks for not thinking I was weird. I got a little loopy earlier".

Applejack chuckled.

"A little??. Babe, you sounded like a little girl, talkin absolute nonsense".

Rainbow blusheed.

"Hehe. Yeah, I guess".
Applejack kissed her cheek.

"It's fine baby. Ya got a little stubborn and a little too happy. That's normal when you're sick. Or at least for you".

Rainbow yawned.

"You're lucky I can't move or I'd hit you".

Applejack  chuckled.

"Hey, ah can easily overpower you".

Rainbow smiled.

"Shh...... sleep now. Fight later".

Applejack petted her hair gently until she fell asleep. Rainbow had a wet towel on her forehead. AJ took it off and threw it onto the side table.

Kissing Rainbow's forehead she smiled.

"From now on, I'll force feed ya the medicine".

Rainbow shifted. AJ slid her up and laid down herself. She looked at her sleeping  girlfriend. Smiling in content, she closed her eyes and fell asleep.
