Applejack got to know Star over the week she was there. She thought Rainbow's sister was pretty cool. It was even cooler that she was her age. 18. Star was a model, an actress.

Though she had noticed Star was a bit touchy. Applejack made sure to keep her distance. That was the only flaw. Star was always close to her or touching her in any way. It was weird but Applejack didn't want to say anything and upset her.

After all, she and Rainbow never got that much affection as kids. So maybe like Rainbow, Star was only doing that because she had the chance to do it. Applejack could understand that.

Rainbow thought the opposite. She was having the worst time ever. She never got to spend time alone with Applejack because Star was always there.

She yapped on and on about herself. She was obviously flirting. She sometimes showed a bit too much skin around Applejack and alway found a way to get her to touch her. Whether it be an elbow rest on shouldernthing or a playful nudge.

Rainbow hated that. One day when the girls were outside for a barbecue with their friends she pulled Star aside.

"Okay", Rainbow said. "Just to let you know, Applejack is my girlfriend so don't try anything on her. She's not single".

Star smiled. "Of coarse I won't try anything. I'll be good".

Star walked back over to her seat next to Applejack. She grabbed a squirt gun and sprayed the blonde teen.

Applejack laughed. She got up.

"Hey!!", she laughed. Applejack got out a water gun herself.

The two ran around the yard laughing and squirting eachother.

Rainbow watched from her seat. She suddenly lost her appetite. She threw her plate away and sat down. She stayed on her phone.

"You okay Rainbow??", Pinkie asked.

Rainbow smiled and nodded. "Yeah. I'm good".

"Your sister is awesome!!. She's very funny and really pretty".

Rainbow looked over at Applejack and Star. She sighed.

"Yeah. She is".

"Hey Rainbow".

Rainbow looked up. She saw her sister there holding her brush. Rainbow looked at her outfit. Star was wearing a crop top and shorts. She had on make up.

"Do you mind if I use it??".

Rainbow shook her head.

"No but don't you have like five of those??", she said.

Star shrugged. "I have more than that but I don't use them. They're from London so I don't wanna use them and ruin their worth. I better not see you touch my stuff".

Rainbow nodded. She raised her hands.

"No problem".

Star smiled. "So. Me and Applejack are gunna watch a movie later when I get back. I gotta go somewhere for a while. Wanna watch with us later??".

Rainbow shook her head. "Nope. I'm good".

"Okay".

Star walked out, a swing in her hips. Rainbow put on her sneakers. She grabbed her soccer ball and went outside. She passed Applejack wordlessly. The blonde noticed and frowned. Rainbow walked out of the house. She went to the large fenced back yard. She played with her soccer ball. Scoring into the net she let off some steam.

"Stupid Star and her amazing self. I'm awesome and beautiful. Look at me!!".

She kicked the ball into the net angrily. She sighed and sat on the grass.

"Rainbow??".

Rainbow looked back. She saw Applejack standing there. She looked at the the grass.

"Hey".

Applejack walked over to her.

"What's wrong babe??".

Rainbow smiled. She stood up.

"Everything's great. I'm good".

Rainbow walked over to her ball and picked it up.

"Ah know you're upset babe. Tell me".

Rainbow sighed. "I don't wanna talk about it".

Rainbow walked away. She bumped into Star on the way in.

"Oh hey sis".

Rainbow looked at her. She gave her the fakest smile she could and walked away.

Star looked at Applejack who came in a minute later.

"What happened??", she asked.

Applejack shrugged. "Ah don't know. But Ah'm gunna find out".

"Okay. Well, I gotta go. So I'll be back later".

Star walked out of the room. Applejack headed upstairs to their room. She walked in to see Rainbow packing a suitcase.

"What's goin on babe??", she asked.

Rainbow sniffled. "Oh nothing. Just leaving before Star moves in".

Applejack looked at her confused. She walked over to her and kneeled beside her.

"What are you talkin' about??".

Rainbow rolled her eyes. "Oh please. She's obviously replacing me".

"Why would she do that??".

Rainbow got up and turned away, crossing her arms.

"She's Star".

Applejack stood up. Rainbow sighed.

"I've had a girlfriend before you. Everything was great. Until Star came to visit. She stole her from me. She left me for Star. Star always does that. She walks in, shows a little skin, plays nice and next thing I know, I'm single".

Rainbow sighed. "Star always takes things from me. Any good thing I get she wants and takes it and she gets away with it because she's the oldest. I hate it. She takes everything she wants".

Rainbow felt tears rising.

"And it was only a matter of time before she took you too. So why not just leave??. She'll be moving in with you, so why not??".

Applejack walked up to her.

"I don't see why you shouldn't be with her. She's beautiful, talented, a frikkin actress for Celestia sake. She's better than me. Everyone loves her. Everyone leaves me to be with Star".

"If she bothered you so much why didn't cha tell me??", Applejack asked.

Rainbow sighed. "It wouldn't have mattered what I said. You'd still break uo with me so I just let it happen. It was better that way to give up now than to fight a losing battle with her. She always wins".

Rainbow had a tear run down her cheek. She wiped it away. She kneeled down and zipped up the luggage. Suddenly hands found hers.

Rainbow stopped. She looked down at the carpet, trying not to cry.

She sniffled.

"Rainbow".

Applejack kneeled beside her.

"Baby, look at me".

Rainbow looked up at her. Applejack took her hands.

"Yes she's pretty and has a cool job. She may be older and funny and your sister. But she's not you".

Rainbow looked up at her.

Applejack smiled. "She's not you. You're beautiful, funny, amazin, adorably sexy".

Rainbow giggled. "No I'm not".

Rainbow sighed and looked down at her hands sadly. "Compared to her I'm nothing".

Applejack frowned. She reached out touched her cheek. Applejack lifted her head.

"Rainbow. You're the only one fir me. She may have the cameras an the pretty face an the fame. But you have mah heart".

Rainbow looked up at her.

"What??. What do you see in me that you won't leave me and be with someone better??".

Applejack smiled. "Well. You're beautiful. You're hilarious. You're cute, adorable, you're unique. Ah don't anyone who's as annoyin' as you can get".

Rainbow smiled a bit. Applejack took her hand and lifted her up to a standing.

"You're mah best friend and mah partner in crime. You make any day better. When I'm sad or stressed you're there to cheer me up. Ah love wakin up ta see you on me, curled up like a cute little kitten. Ah love those days when you're just happy and laugh at anything and everythin".

Applejack wrapped her srms around Rainbow Dash.

"Ah love your heart. You have ah good heart that loves your friends an is curious about everythin about the world. Ah love holdin you in mah arms. Ah love your laugh an smile and giggle. Ah love your tinyness".

"I'm short by like three inches. Calm down".

Applejack laughed. "And your little attitudes are cute. You're brave and bold and darin. You're amazin in every way an noone can take your place. Not even your sister".

Applejack wiped a tear away from Rainbow's cheek.

"So don't cry. Ya won't lose me now and you won't lose me ta someone like Star".

Rainbow smiled.

"Okay".

Applejack kissed her lips softly.

"And your sister can't play sports like you can. You're better than her fir miles".

Rainbow giggled.

"Let's unpack your luggage. Cause you ain't goin anywhere", Applejack said.

The girls unpacked her suitcase. They went downstairs to watch a movie. The lights off, popcorn bowl on lap, everything was perfect.

"Well. It was nice seeing spendin time with ya".

Star smiled. Rainbow was putting her bags in the trunk.

Applejack smiled.

"It was amazing. I really enjoyed this", Star said smiling.

She reached into her pocket and took out a piece of paper. She slipped it into Applejack's pocket.

"When you wanna break up with that little nothing of a sister I have and be with me, give me a call. Okay??".

Applejack looked over at Rainbow who was standing a few feet away. She had a hurt expression on her face.
Rainbow wordlessly walked past them, when Applejack suddenly grabbed her arm. Rainbow looked at her.

Applejack looked at Star. She shredded up the paper.

"Thanks but no. Ah wouldn't hurt her like that. Ah have a girl. Believe it or not but, Rainbow is way better than you. Cause she's Rainbow. Ah don't wanna see you here again. Goodbye".

Rainbow looked at her laughing. Star looked at her angrily.

"Why you little brat!!".

Rainbow looked at her. Star raised her hand at her. Rainbow's eyes widened as she cowered away.

Applejack grabbed her wrist.

"She may be your sister, but that ain't right ta treat her like that. Leave. Now".

Star huffed and got into her car. She sped off down the road. Applejack and Rainbow looked at eachother. They busted out laughing.

"She was so angry!!", Rainbow laughed.

Applejack smiled. She wrapped her arms around Rainbow.

"Are you sure you did the right thing??", Rainbow asked frowning. "That may have been you're only chance to be with someone like her".

Applejack grinned. "She's plastic. Ah wouldn't wanna be with someone like her anyway. You're mah girl an always will be".

She gave Rainbow a kiss on the lips. "You're mine firever".
