I swear this is only a 1 part thing bcuz I have to finish The loner cuz I completely forgot about The hunter and the Wingless fairy. So as soon as I finish The loner, I'll get right back to The hunter and the wingless fairy. But I don't feel like updating either right now. So I'm doing a really quick one shot. Enjoy and comment what you guys think of the matter of the stories :)

Applejack creaked the door open and stepped into the room. She smiled.

"Hey".

She saw Rainbow laying on the bed, the lights off.

Walking over to the bed she sat down.

Applejack frowned. Rainbow was just laying there, awake and silent.

The teen looked at her.

"Hi".

Applejack placed a hand on her back.

"What's wrong baby??".

Rainbow shrugged.

"What do you mean you don't know??".

Rainbow sighed.

"I don't know. I just feel like crying".

Applejack got off the bed and kneeled on the floor in front of Rainbow. She looked at Rainbow worriedly.

"You want me ta leave??".

Rainbow nodded. Applejack smiled sadly.

"Well", she said softly. "That was a trick question. Ah ain't leaving ya alone".

Rainbow sighed.

"Should've known you'd do that", she grumbled.

Applejack sighed.

"Ah ain't leavin ya like this by yourself. Have ya gotten out of bed today??".

Rainbow nodded. "To shower and brush my teeth. But then I started crying so I just came straight here and here I stayed".

Applejack looked at her for a moment.

"I'll be back in a lil bit".

Applejack got up. "Ah'm gunna get a few things".

She kissed Rainbow's cheek and walked out.

Applejack walked in to see Rainbow still in bed, in the same position. She hadn't moved.

Sitting on the bed she looked at Rainbow.

"Hey baby. Looky here".

Rainbow turned her body to look at her. Applejack held up a movie and candy. Rainbow raised an eyebrow.

"What's this??".

Applejack smiled. "Since you wanna be sad person today, I've decided that ya ain't gonna do nothing. So, ah brought a movie. A funny one full of action. And ah bought some candy".

Applejack put on the movie and crawled into bed. She laid beside Rainbow and wrapped an arm around her waist.

They watched the movie. Applejack would laugh at the most funniest parts. Every now and again she noticed Rainbow would smile.

They ate the candy while they watched the movie. It finished. Applejack sat up and stretched.

"That was great".

Rainbow stared blankly at the tv. She didn't say a word.

Applejack pulled her up to a sitting. Holding her head in her hands she made Rainbow look at her.

She looked into her eyes. Rainbow looked away.

Applejack pulled her in for a hug. She wrapped her tan arms around the smaller girl's body.

Letting go AJ looked at her girlfriend.

Rainbow laid back down.

"What did I do to deserve you??".

Applejack frowned and laid down looking at her.

"How did an ugly piece of garbage like me get a beautiful, perfect girl like you??".

Applejack sat up. "Oh no no no. No. You aren't allowed to say that. Don't say that Rainbow. You aren't garbage. You're beautiful. You just FEEL like garbage but cha ain't".

Rainbow sighed. "Okay".

Applejack wrapped her in her arms and laid beside her. The blonde touched her cheek. The girl stared right at her, a blank stare.

Applejack hummed a tune.

"Sing me a song??".

Rainbow looked at her. She looked down then at her again. She nodded.

There was silence for a moment. Applejack waited patiently.

"Lavender's blue, dilly dilly. Lavender's green. When I am king, dilly dilly, you shall be queen. Who told you so, dilly dilly, who told you so??. Twas my own heart, dully dilly, that told me soooo".

Applejack smiled. "That was beautiful. Thank you. Now ah know that your voice hasn't been stolen by aliens".

Rainbow smiled. "Aliens??. Really??".

Applejack smiled wider. "Yay", she clapped silently. "You're smiling", she whispered.

Rainbow smiled. "Yeah. I guess I'm feeling a little better".

AJ sat up. She poked Rainbow's side. The girl squirmed away, her hand on the spot where Applejack had poked her.

AJ raised an eyebrow.

"Babe?? Are you ticklish??".

Rainbow stayed quiet. Applejack smiled. She captured Rainbow in her arms and started to tickle her stomach.

Rainbow laughed and tried to get away but Applejack had her in a firm grip.

The teen laughed and laughed.

"Okay. You can stop now!! Please stop it Hahaha!!".

Applejack stopped and watched her. Rainbow caught her breath. She smiled.

"Thanks I needed that", Rainbow said.

She smiled at the blonde. Applejack kissed her cheek a few times. Rainbow giggled.

"Okay. Stop".

Applejack pulled back.

"That's more like it. Welcome back babe".

Rainbow smiled.

"Yeah. I'm sorry about all that. I don't know what's wrong with me today".

She sighed. Applejack frowned.

"There isn't anythin wrong with ya. You were jus havin' one of those days. Completely normal".

Applejack touched her cheek softly.

Rainbow looked at her.

"Thanks. For sticking with me. I'd probably be staring at a wall all day if you hadn't shown up".

Applejack smiled.

"No big deal. Ah see ya sad or not yourself, it's my job ta help you anyway ah can. I love you".

Rainbow smiled. "I love you to AJ".

The two laid down in eachother's arm, smiling.

Rainbow snuggled into her side. She was finally happy. With Applejack, her worst mood always turned to happiness. She was so glad to have her around. And Applejack didn't plan on leaving, any time soon.
