Im trying to find stuff to put for maregirl and i thought of this for one of the chapters later on in the story. ENJOY and let me know what you think

Applejack fell to the ground. She coughed in the sweet air. Looking up she saw her hero, Maregirl, laying on the floor unconscious. Her wings were folded up.

Slowly she crawled over to her. Her arms and legs weak from everything that had just happened.

She spotted something next to the girl. A mask. HER mask.

Looking back at the girl she thought of what she should do. Suddenly Maregirl began to shift. She groaned as she woke up.

"What??".

The girl suddenly felt a presence. She froze in place, not turning around. She stood up. "Are you hurt??", she asked.

"Ah'm fine??. Are you??".

The girl nodded. "Nothing I can't handle. You should head home now. Will you be okay going home".

Applejack stood up slowly. Just a bit sore bit other than that she wasn't hurt.

"I'll be fine".

Maregirl tested her wings to see if they were okay. They were thankfully.

Rainbow let out a sigh of relief in her mind.

"Whew. That was too close".

Taking off she zoomed towards the apartment.

She limped inside. Appearantly she was more hurt than she thought. She hurried inside and changed. Pain shot threw her ankle whenever she so much as touched it.

Rainbow could tell it wasn't broken, just sprained. Scootaloo had told her.

"I'll need a new mask".

The preteen nodded.

"I'll work on it tonight. Go lay down".

Rainbow did as she was told and sat on her bed.

Scootaloo wrapped it up and had Rainbow put ice on it.

"Are you sure you're eleven??", Rainbow asked.

Scootaloo giggled.

"Are you sure you're a superhero??", she said quietly.

Rainbow smiled and rolled her eyes.

"I'm just glad I didn't burn to a crisp. I'm also glad I was able to get Applejack out of there".

"What??. What happened??".

Rainbow sighed.

"She was in the building when it exploded. I was able to get everyone out. The fire department and cops showed up when I pulled Applejack out. I took her to an alley. But I'm sure she was found and is probably at the hospital".

Suddenly her phone rang.

"Speak of the angel".

She picked up.

"Hey where are you??. You've been gone a while".

"I'm at the hospital".

"What?!!. What happened??".

"There was an explosion and the whole place shot up in flames. Maregirl was able ta get us all out".

"You saw Maregirl??", Rainbow faked beamed.

"Yeah its a bit hazy but I remember her pulling me out".

"Wow. You're lucky she was there. Which hospital are you in??".

"Canterlot state hospital".

"We're on our way. I love you".

"I love you too, bye".

"Let's go".

They drove down to the hospital. Rainbow parked and they got out.

"What are you gunna tell her about your ankle??".

"Nothing. She won't find out".

Scootaloo looked her with worry as they walked in.

"Are you sure that's a good idea??. I don't want you to hurt yourself more".

Rainbow looked down at her sister.

"I'll be okay. Just don't tell her. My ankle will heal itself in a few days, remember??".

She walked up to the front desk.

"Applejack??", she told the lady at the front.

The woman nodded and typed something into her computer.

"Right this way".

Another nurse led them down the hall. Stopping in front of a room as took in a breath.

"Here you go".

"Thank you".

She opened the door and walked in.

She saw Applejack on the bed.

"Are you okay??".

Rainbow sat on the bed and looked at her in worry.

She knew she was fine but Applejack didn't know she knew.

"I'm okay. Honestly".

Rainbow smiled.

"I was so worried about you".

A doctor came in. Told them that there were no injuries and that Applejack could go home.

Rainbow smiled.

"Come on".

The three went home.

Rainbow sat down next to Applejack.

"Ah nice to finally relax".

"You've been here all day silly. What exactly have you done that you need to relax??".

AJ grinned at her. Rainbow eyes widened for a moment before saying.

"Oh yeah. Just...... um the panic from the call and umm that. Just relax, okay??".

Applejack raised an eyebrow.

"Okay. Actually I gotta head home. Gotta do stuff, okay??".

Rainbow nodded and stood up.

"Take it easy, you hear me??", Rainbow said seriously.

"I will".

Rainbow leaned up and kissed her on the lips.

"Love you".

Applejack wrapped her arms around her waist.

"Love you too".

Rainbow hugged her back ignoring the pain in her ankle that would have made the toughest guy in school cry.

The two pulled away and Applejack walked out.

"Bye Scoots", she waved at the girl.

"See ya Applejack".

They heard footsteps and the sound of the door closing.

Rainbow fell to her knees. Her eyes screwed shut.

Scootaloo rushed to her side.

"Are you okay??".

Rainbow nodded and tried to stand up but the pain made her sit back down.

"It hurts so much man".

The teen took in deep breaths. Forcing herself to stand up she leaned against the wall.

"This isn't a good idea Rainbow. You almost died".

Rainbow shook her head.

"If I hadn't been there Applejack and all those people would have died. I can't stop saving people that need me. The police can't keep up with half the bad guys in this city and the crime has went down because of me and you".

"What's saving someone if you get killed while doing it??", Scootaloo asked.

"I can't lose you Rainbow. You're all I have left".

Rainbow sighed. Running her hands through her hair she said.

"I would rather die saving someone then leaving them to die alone. They have families to go home to and kids. I- ahh!!".

She fell to the floor in pain.

She look up at Scootaloo.

"I wish I didn't have to hide this from Applejack. But what would she say??. She would be so mad and betrayed. I mean who wouldn't when they find out their girlfriend is secretly Maregirl and is fighting crime all the time??. She can't know. Plus, if she knew that would put her in danger to some really bad people. YOU shouldn't even know".

Rainbow painfully extended her wings.

"Thank goodness my wings weren't broken when we fell. I can at least hide them from Applejack. My ankle...... let's see how that goes".

Scootaloo sighed and took the icepack.

"Here. It'll keep the swelling down".

She tossed it to her.

Rainbow grabbed it with one hand.

"I wish my powers would just heal it already", Rainbow whined.

"It takes a few days", Scootaloo reminded her.

"Oh yeah".

"The sooner your ankle heals, the better things will be".

She got up and limped over to a mirror. Lifting her shirt she looked in the mirror. Black and blue bruises covered her stomach.

"Rainbow".

Rainbow sighed and pulled down her shirt.

"As long I can hide it and my wings from the world, I'll be fine".

Rainbow sighed and hide her face in her knee.

"What a great girlfriend I am". Rainbow leaned back.

"I sneak around, dissappear in the middle of stuff. Almost died today and I can't tell her. I can't tell her and that's scares me. She has no idea of who I am and....... I feel alone".

I tear ran down her cheek but she wiped it away.

"You know it's okay to cry".

Rainbow looked at Scootaloo.

"Not when you're a superhero. I don't have time to cry".

She got up and walked out of the room.

Little did she know that Applejack had heard everything.

She ran down to the front door and stepped out. She turned and knocked on it, making sure it was closed.

It opened a minute later. Rainbow stood there, a confused look on her face.

" I thought you had to go home"

"Ah do but I dropped something on the way out".

Rainbow stepped aside. The blonde girl came in and went over to the couch. On the couch fog her was and box.

She picked it up and walked up to Rainbow.

"Here".

Rainbow looked at her shocked.

"For me??".

Applejack nodded. "For you".

Rainbow took the box in her hands and opened it.

"I know you've been stressed out for some reason these past few days and I just wanted to give ya this as a reminder ta keep you're head on your shoulders".

Rainbow smiled.

It was a necklace. A beautiful silver crystal heart.

"I love it".

The girl smiled at Applejack.

"Come here".

The two walked into the kitchen.

Applejack took out some matches. She lit a candle and dimmed the lights.

"Hold it close to the fire".

Rainbow reached her arm out and the charm was dangling a few inches away.

Suddenly stars began to to glow on the walls, ceiling, everywhere. Rainbow looked around in awe. She looked at the necklace and smiled.

"It's awesome. How did you get this??".

"A gal never tells her secrets".

Rainbow smiled.

"Thank you", she kissed her on the lips.

"You're welcome".

The two smiled around eachother.

"I gotta go now, again".

Rainbow laughed. "Okay. Bye".

Applejack kissed her once more.

"Love you".

She walked out of the kitchen. She turned around to see a pained expression on Rainbow's face before it changed.

She opened the door and waved.

"Take it easy too. Alright??".

Rainbow nodded.

"I will".

Applejack walked out and closed the door behind her.

"Even though she can't tell me doesn't mean she has to kill herself in the process of hiding it from me".

Long but oh well. Hope ya liked it. :) and thank you all for the get wells and all. It means alot. Didn't know people that don't know me could c are about me alot :') I'm getting better. Way better than yesterday that's for sure. Thanks again!!
