Applejack and Rainbow Dash looked at the machine before them. Applejack crossed her arms.

"So. Ya really did it. You built a time machine".

The blonde looked at the man behind the controls. Dr.Hooves nodded. He smiled.

"Isn't it magnificent??", he said.

Rainbow stared in awe.

"I wanna go in", she said.

Dr.Whooves chuckled.

"You will my dear. Just a minute".

The two watched as he pulled a lever. The machine began to buzz and hum. Suddenly a little came on and widened to a full portal. They stood back a little.

"Woah".

Dr.Whooves nodded. "Woah indeed. Now, let's go".

Applejack took Rainbow's wrist when the girl tried to run at the portal. She pulled her back.

"No ya don't. Ah ain't just gunna let cha run inta a portal by yourself. If you get lost in time, you're gunna get lost with us".

Rainbow pouted. "Well C'mon".

Applejack and Dr.Whooves looked at eachother. They rolled their eyes amused.

"Well", Dr.Whooves said. "Let's not keep the girl waiting".

The three walked up to the glowing portal.

"Have you done this before??", Applejack asked.

"A few times in the past", Dr.Whooves answered. "Not to worry. I know what I'm doing and just case something goes wrong, I've told the princesses what we're doing".

Applejack nodded. "Well. To the future".

The three held hands and stepped into the portal. Next thing they knew they were falling.

"Woah!!!".

The three landed onto grass. Rainbow immediately sat up. She looked around in awe. Applejack groaned.

"At least we survived".

The blonde sat up. She gasped as she looked around.

"We actually did it", she said.

Looking over at Rainbow she smiled.
Dr.Whooves stood up, brushing himself off.

"Yup. This is Canterlot twenty year from now".

The girls got up and looked around. Everything looked so different yet the same.

"Can anyone see us??", Rainbow asked.

Dr.Whooves stood hook her head.

"Nope. We're good".

Rainbow walked a few feet, when she was grabbed. Turning she saw Applejack holding her wrist. She pouted.

"Don't give me that look", Applejack said. "Your curiosity gets the better of ya".

Rainbow couldn't argue with her there. The three walked around looking at all the people. It was amazing.

Suddenly Rainbow gasped. She pointed at a building.

"Sugarcube Corner".

They walked to the building and looked inside. It was open. Rainbow leaned on the glass.

"Hey. I think see- ahh!!".

She suddenly fell right through the door. She landed on the other side. Applejack stepped right through the door.

"Are you alright??".

Rainbow nodded and stood up. She looked at Dr.Whooves.

"When were you going to tell us we could walk through things??".

The man smirked. "After one of you did something like that".

"Oh my god. Pinkie?".

Rainbow looked at Applejack.

"What??".

Applejack pointed. Rainbow turned and looked. There was a woman who unmistakably was Pinkie Pie. The woman had the pink poofy hair, bright blue eyes and cheeky smile. She was serving some cupcakes and hot chocolate.

"She still works at Sugarcube corner".

Suddenly Rainbow Dash spotted someone else.

"Woah. Rarity??".

At one of the tables was a woman with purple hair, perfectly styled, and pale skin. It was Rarity. Beside her was obviously........ Fluttershy.

"Hey Rarity. Hey Fluttershy", adult Pinkie said sitting down.

"I'm on break. Then others coming??".

Rarity nodded. "Hello darling. They should be here soon".

Suddenly the bell from the door rang. Applejack and Rainbow Dash turned. Their eyes widened.

"Oh my gosh".

"Hey Twilight!!. Hey Flash!!", they heard Pinkie Pie shout.

Twilight stood there holding hands with Flash Sentry. She looked so beautiful. But they knew it was still her.

"Hey", Rainbow said looking at Applejack. "Doesn't Twilight have a crush on him??", she asked.

Applejack nodded. "Yeah. Ah guess they're together".

Rainbow gasped, her face covered in shock. Applejack raised an eyebrow at her. The younger teen pointed.

"She has a ring on her finger".

Applejack whipped her head back and looked at the woman. She was right. There was a ring on both of their ring fingers.

"Twilight's married".

Twilight kissed Flash on the lips and walked away.

"See ya later".

Flash smiled and turned around and left. Twilight walked over to the girls and smiled.

"Hey girls", she said sitting down.

"Twilight!!".

The girls turned to look at the door once more. There was a young man. He had green hair and light purple skin.

"Is that.......".

Applejack couldn't finish her sentence.

"Spike??".

The young man walked over to the women. He was out of breath.

"Here Twilight", he huffed. He held out a book. "You left this at the library".

"Twilight still has her library??", Rainbow asked shocked. The girls looked at eachother.

They couldn't believe it. They heardbthe door open again. Turning around they froze.

"I win!!".

"No squirt. I won".

"No I won".

"I won".

Rainbow swore she stopped breathing.

"It's me".

There stood a woman. She had rainbow colored hair and light blue skin. She was arguing with a kid.

"I won", she said.

The kid crossed her arms.

"If you both don't stop arguing ah will tape your mouths shut".

Rainbow and Applejack turned was frozen in shock. It was Applejack. The blonde woman had her arms crossed, a frown on her face.

"Applejack", the grown Rainbow Dash said. "I won".

"Mom. I won. Mama won't admit it", the girls said shocking the teens to the core.

"Did she just say......".

The girls looked at eachother in surprise.

"We have a kid?".

The grown Applejack rolled her green eyes and walked over to the two.

"Rainbow, ya lost. Eden, go find your friends and get away from eachother".

The little girl grinned and ran off. The grown up Rainbow Dash looked at the blonde in shock. The grown Applejack smirked. Rainbow crossed her arms in scowled.

"I didn't lose. I hate you".

Adult Applejack walked up to her and wrapped her arms around her waist.

"Ah know".

Rainbow grinned. The two looked at the girls.

"Hey ya'll".

They walked over to them and sat down.

"Hey Dashie", Pinkie waved.

Grown Applejack wrapped an arm around Rainbow.

The two teens walked over to the group. Rainbow suddenly sniffled.
Applejack looked at her.

"What is it??".

Rainbow laid her head on Applejack's chest.

"We're all still together. We're still gunna be friends. That makes me so happy".

Applejack smiled and hugged her girlfriend. She looked at her future self. Suddenly she gasped. Rainbow heard her and looked at her.

"What??".

The shorter girl looked at their future selves. She gasped, bringing her hands to her mouth. There on both of their hands....... were rings.

"Of my gosh", Rainbow cried. She buried her face into Applejack's shirt.

"We're married. Oh my gosh".

Applejack hugged the crying girl. She felt emotional herself but kept it in. She smiled.

When Rainbow was done crying she pulled away and wiped her tears away. She looked at Applejack.

"I-I can't believe I'm marrying you in the future".

Applejack smiled at her.

"Ah can. Ah wouldn't wanna be married ta anyone else".

The girls turned and watched the 7 adults laugh and joke around. But mostly, they watched themselves. Grown up Rainbow Dash was in Applejack's arms. The two couldn't look happier. That was them in the future. Married with a kid and their friends all together.

"So sorry girls".

The teens turned and saw Dr.Hooves standing there.

"We must be getting back".

The girls nodded. They slowly walked away. When they got to the door Rainbow stopped. She watched the group of friends in disbelief.

Applejack felt her stop. She turned and looked at her girlfriend. Applejack saw her face and took her hand.

"You okay??".

Rainbow looked back at her.

"We're gunna get married".

Applejack nodded and smiled.

"Yeah. We are. C'mon".

Rainbow still wouldn't move. Applejack took her hands firmly in her.

"C'mon babe. Let's go home".

The three left the bakery and walked back down the street. They passed friends they knew all too well. They saw Derpy with a man walking together and handing out stuff to people. They saw Cheerilee with two teenagers on either side.

They made it made to the portal. Applejack and Rainbow Dash held hands. They looked at Dr.Whooves.

"Thanks", Applejack said.

Rainbow nodded. "Yeah. Thanks".

Dr.Whooves smiled.

"My pleasure girls. And for the record. I had no idea that we'd see you girls here".

The three stepped through the portal.

Rainbow smiled. She felt Applejack smooth her hair. She looked around at her friends.

"Well. Aren't you girls just the cutest", Rarity squealed.

"Naw. That's all Rainbow", Applejack said. Rainbow looked at her.

"Thanks".

Applejack chuckled and kissed her forehead.

"Love you".

"Love you too".

Dr.Whooves watched them from afar. He smiled.

"Sorry I had to erase your memory girls. It was for the best. But now thar I know, I'll make sure you girls get to your happily ever after".

With that he walked towards the girls. The man reached into his coat pocket and took out a piece of paper. Walking past them he slipped it into Applejack's hand. The blonde noticed and looked up.

Dr.Whooves put a finger to his lips. He walked away like he was never there. Applejack closed her hand, hiding the paper. She would open the paper later on.

That night Applejack and Rainbow Dash were in bed asleep. Applejack laid awake, just watching her girlfriend who was snuggled up to her. Suddenly she remembered the paper Dr.Whooves had given her. Curiosity got the best of her. The blonde reached over. She picked up the piece of paper that was on the side table. She quietly unfolded it and read it.

In 10 years time, buy Rainbow Dash a ring and propose to her. Shhhh.

Applejack's eyes widened at the words. She folded it back up and put it away. Applejack looked at the sleeping Rainbow Dash in her arms. The girl she loved more than anything. She smiled.

"Propose to the most beautiful girl in the universe and ask her ta be with me fir the rest of our lives. Ah can do that".
