Pulling her hoodie up Rainbow walked out of the house. The night surrounded her. She sat down and stared up at her moon.

She sighed. "Why??. Why did I have to be a freak??. Did I do something wrong that I needed to be punished for??".

Tears rose up in Rainbow magenta colored eyes. A tear ran down her face.

"Well, I don't see problem with it".

Rainbow turned around. She saw Applejack standing in the doorway.

"Hey AJ".

Applejack walked outside and sat down beside her.

"It's a nice night out. The moon looks beautiful. Although I do like full moons best".

Rainbow sighed. "Yeah. They say 'hey. Your girlfriend is gunna turn into a monster and you might not live to see the sun' ".

Applejack frowned. She scooted over and placed a hand on Rainbow's shoulder.

"C'mon now babe. Stop it".

Rainbow crossed her arms and looked away.

Applejack sighed. She reached a hand out and placed it on Rainbow's cheek.
She made Rainbow look at her.

"Rainbow. You aren't a freak. This wasn't your fault. And so what of you're different??. Ah like different. Ya got me didn't cha??".

Rainbow smiled. "I guess you're rig by. It's not all bad".

Applejack smiled. "Coarse ah am".

Rainbow snorted and rolled her eyes.

"Shut up".

The two stood up.

Applejack's smile fell when she saw Rainbow's face. The wolf hybrid girl was tears in her eyes.

"Oh baby. Come here".

The blonde hugged her girlfriend. Rainbow cried into her shoulder.

"Don't cry Rainbow".

Rainbow sighed.

"I'm sorry. It's stupid to cry but-".

A sob escaped her. Applejack held her.

"It's okay. Just relax and let it out".

Rainbow cried for another 2 minutes before calming down. Applejack pulled away but kept Rainbow at arms length.

"Rainbow. Look at me".

Rainbow dried her eyes and looked at the blonde.

"Ah don't know why you were made this way, but ah know it was fir a reason. Someday you'll find that reason. But fir right by now, that reason is because if ya hadn't had those adorable little ears of yours ah woulda never found you that day".

Rainbow stared at her. It was true. So, the reason for Rainbow having to go through all that she had gone through........

Rainbow gasped.

"I understand now".

Applejack raised an eyebrow.

"What??".

"The reason why this happened to me.......was so I could meet you".

Applejack smiled.

"Well, Ah'm glad we finally figured that out".

Rainbow smiled. She giggled.

"Wow. Never though of it that way. Thanks".

Applejack hugged her from around the waist and then pulled away. She gently scratched Rainbow from behind her ears.

"No problem. Now, no more cryin' okay??. Ah wanna see ya smilin an laughin. C'mon. Let's go watch a movie an eat some popcorn".

Rainbow beamed at the idea.

"Yay!! Let's go!!".

Applejack laughed as she was pulled inside. The door shut. Rainbow dragged her upstairs to their bedrooms. She opened the door and jumped onto the bed.

"I love movies. What kind of movie can we watch??. Is it funny??. Full of action??. Do we have a zombie movie??. Oh wait I don't like zombies. But anyway is there an action funny movies??. movies Why aren't you answering my questions?!!!".

Applejack laughed.

"Maybe if ya didn't ask them all in five seconds maybe I could".

Rainbow laughed.

"Sorry. I just like watching movie with you".

Applejack kissed her cheek.

"Then that's okay".

They found a movie.

Rainbow ran downstairs to make the popcorn.Applejack walked behind her, shaking her head in amusement. Walking into the kitchen Applejack got a popcorn bag out of the cabinet.

Opening it she let Rainbow put it in the microwave.

Rainbow sat on the counter top and watched the popcorn pop. She loved watching the popcorn. Applejack watched as the girl smiled at the most simplest thing.

She smiled. When the popcorn was done Applejack took it out and opened it. The spell of butter filled the room.

Putting the popcorn into a bowl, Applejack walked over to the fridge and opened it. She took out a bottle of soda.

They went upstairs and put on the movie.

The movie was, just like Rainbow wanted, full of action and funny. Th E two girls laughed alot. Rainbow ate most of the popcorn in just 10 minutes so they made a bowl for her and Applejack.

Applejack smiled as the movie credits came on. She yawned and looked at Rainbow. She laughed.

Rainbow, only Celestia knows how, was able to fall asleep with the empty popcorn bowl on her head.

"Now, you'll have to wash your hair tomorrow", Applejack said quietly.

Taking the bowl of the girl's head she looked at Rainbow Dash. She didn't want to, but she gently woke her up.

Rainbow shooed her away and curled up.

"C'mon baby. Wake up".

Rainbow cracked her eyes open and lifted her head.

"Huh??".

"We gotta get that butter off your ears before ya go ta sleep".

Picking up the half asleep girl, Applejack walked out of the room and into the bathroom. She flicked the light on.

Setting Rainbow down on the counter she got out a wash cloth. She turned on the water.

Rainbow's ears went down at the sound. She covered her ears and shut her eyes.

"Too loud".

Applejack smiled. "Sorry".

She wet the towel with warm water and shut off the water.

Looking at the hybrid girl in front of her she said, "Put your hands down so ah can wash your ears".

Rainbow did as told. Applejack ran the cloth over the furry ears on Rainbow's head.

She cleaned off the butter off the ears the hair.

"We'll wash it tomorrow".

Rainbow groaned. She held out her arms. Applejack smiled at took her in her arms, lifting her up. Rainbow was quite small.

The blonde girl walked into the bedroom and shut the door behind her. Laying Rainbow down she changed into pajamas.

When she turned back around she saw Rainbow curled up, ears flat.

She turnd off the light and climbed into bed. She laid down and closed her eyes. Suddenly, Applejack felt the bed shift. She felt a body snuggle up to her.

Opening her eyes, she saw Rainbow curled up beside her. AJ smiled and gently pet her head softly.

"That's my good girl", she whispered.
