So i watched a movie yesturday and i got this idea. I havent stopped The loner, i just wanted to write this. So enjoy and tell me what you think :)

Rainbow sighed. She looked around the restaurant. She was waiting for her friend.

Suddenly her phone rang. Picking it up off the table, she answered.

"Hello??".

"Hey babe", Applejack's voice was heard.

Rainbow smiled.

"Hey AJ".

"How ya holding up over there??. Are the girls there yet??".

Rainbow looked around.

"No".

Suddenly Rainbow noticed the silverware and plate shaking making clanking noises on the glass table.

"Oh no".

"What's wrong??", Applejack asked.

Suddenly there was a loud rumble as everything began to shake.

"Oh god no".

"What's going on??", Applejack asked panic in her voice.

"Earthquake!!", Rainbow yelled.

She held the phone to her ear.

Rainbow fell to her knees. Pieces of the ceiling were coming down on the people. Everyone was panicking. Suddenly the floor started to give out. Water from the pipes were flooding the place. There were fires.

"Rainbow".

Rainbow held the phone with a shaking hand.

"Get out of there. Okay??. Try to find the girls and get out. I'll come find you".

"Okay. Please hurry".

Suddenly the floor beneath Rainbow's feet gave out. She screamed as she fell.

Rainbow banged her head against something hard and everything went black.

Her eyes fluttered open. Opening her eyes she moved her arms. Rubbing her head Rainbow slowly looked at her surroundings. She was in the basement of the building.

"What the....??".

She sat up and looked at herself. She felt pain in her entire body.

"Oww".

Standing up she brought her hand to the side of her head. She felt something wet and pulled it away. She saw blood.

Sighing she looked up. She saw a gigantic hole from where the floor collapsed.

"Okay then", she said to no one.

Looking at the collapsed concrete and rubble she saw that it had created a mountain. It looked stable enough to climb up. Rainbow walked over to the pile of rubble.

Slowly she began to climb up. It took a while but she got closer and closer. Her body screamed for her to stop but she kept on.

She had to make it out alive. She had to see Applejack.

Climbing out of the rubble and into the sunlight she stood up. Looking around she gasped. The earthquake had done a tremendous amount of damage. Building had collapsed, fires were started. People were running around. Some hurt badly some not.

"This can't be happening".

Suddenly the people began to run. Rainbow turned around. She froze as she she saw a tall building tipping over. She began to run. Her feet went as fast as they could go. She suddenly stopped. To her left she saw a small girl, huddled by a car, shaking.

Running over to her she grabbed her.

"It's gunna be alright. I've gotcha", Rainbow as she continued to run.

Suddenly Rainbow was knocked to the ground by a strong blow. She and the girl fell to the concrete street. Rainbow covered the girl as shards of glass rained down.

The girl screamed in fear.

"Gah!!".

Rainbow gasped as she felt pain on the back of her leg. The teen stayed put despite the pain.

The glass shower was over just leaving a cloud of dust.

Rainbow and the girl coughed in air when the dust settled.

Rainbow gasped in pain. Looking back she saw a cut on the back of her leg. She was bleeding.

Looking at the little girl she stood her up.

"Sweetie!!", they heard a voice.

The two looked over and saw a woman running towards them. The girl ran towards her. The woman hugged her close. She probably the mother.

"Oh thank God", she said smiling.

The woman looked at Rainbow.

"Thank you so much", she said.

"No problem", Rainbow responded.

She slowly stood up. She grunted in pain. The woman and the girl hurried over to her.

"Are you alright??", the woman asked.

"I'm fine. Just a cut".

The woman nodded. She took her daughter and hurried away.

Rainbow headed in the same direction.

"Applejack is really lucky to not have been here for this", she muttered.

Her girlfriend Applejack had been in Canterlot today. Which is 2 hours away.

Rainbow was in Trottingham.

The teen limped along the street. She needed to find a phone. She remembered a store that had the type of phone she needed.

She arrived and went in through the collapsed wall. It was empty.

"Better for me".

Looking around she searched for a landline.

"If I can get a junk phone and hook it up to here, I can call someone. Hopefully Applejack has her phone on her".

Rainbow went behind the counter and kneeled, looking around. Suddenly she found a battery phone. Grabbing it she looked around.

"C'mon".

She spotted a cable. Standing she took the cable in her fingers. Following it she came to an outlet. Rainbow smiled.

"Bingo".

Hooking the phone up she pressed in a phone number.

"Let's see if this works".

She waited for a few seconds.

"Hello??".

Rainbow laughed.

"Applejack??. It's me, Rainbow Dash".

"Rainbow??", she heard the excitement in AJ'S voice.

"Yeah".

Rainbow smiled from ear to ear.

"Oh mah gosh. Are you alright??. What happened??".

Rainbow sighed.

"Alot. A very bad earthquake".

"Where are you??. Ah have the girls with me".

"I'm in the town, in a phone store".

"Okay. You need to get to higher ground. Go to that place where I first met you. You remember??".

"Yeah".

"Go there. You'll be safe there. I'll meet cha there".

"Alright", Rainbow agreed.

"Stay strong. Fir the both of us. I love you and I'll see ya soon".

"I love you too".

Rainbow hung up. Sighing she put the phone down. Turning she walked out of the store.

Looking around she looked for any high mountains or placed she could go. She spotted the place Applejack was talking about.

Twilight hill. It was pretty far away but it was the only place she could go. She headed on her way.

The journey was brutal. Rainbow Dash had many bruises and cuts and scrapes. She was wet and tired. But she kept on.

She passed people by. Some dead, some hanging on.

There were alot of earthquakes.

Rainbow sighed with a smile. She was close. The teen looked up at the rubble mountain. The trip to the top would take hours and it was getting dark. So she began to climb climbed.

She walked and walked for hours. It had passed night time and it was now dawn. She was wet so the wind made her shiver. Rainbow was weak, tired and injured.

"Can't be much longer".

Suddenly she heard voices. Then she saw people.

Smiling she stopped walking.

It was people wearing uniforms. Rescue uniforms. Rainbow began to walk towards them.

"Hey!!!", she called.

The people must've heard her cause they turned around.

A guy looked right at her. He shouted something to the others and ran towards Rainbow.

Rainbow dropped to her knees. She was safe. Finally, her ordeal was over. Some people came running. They dropped in front of her.

A man took her in his arms.

A woman kneeled and shined a flashlight in Rainbow's eyes.

"What's your name??", the man asked.

"Rainbow Dash", she answered.

"Okay Rainbow Dash. You're safe now".

Rainbow nodded in understanding.

She was picked up and carried back to a camp. There were hundreds of people there. Survivors of the earthquake.

The man walked past a bulletin board. Rainbow looked at it. It had pictures of people that were still missing.

Suddenly one caught her eye.

"Wait", she said weakly.

The man stopped. Rainbow pointed to a picture. The man looked at it.

"That's me", Rainbow said.

The man looked at the picture of her.

"I know who put that there", he said, "a blonde girl".

Rainbow smiled.

"Applejack".

The man nodded.

"I can take you to her. She's fine. She wasnt hurt at all. She's helping out here. Then we get you checked out".

Rainbow nodded.

The man carried her towards a tent. Rainbow passed by families. They were hugging and crying tears of joy.

Rainbow smiled.

One family saw her. Rainbow smiled.

The mother stood up.

"Excuse me??".

The man stopped walking. The woman walked up to them. She looked at Rainbow Dash.

"Sweetie. Do you have a family here??".

Rainbow shook her head.

"Only my girlfriend and my friends".

The woman placed a hand on her arm gently.

"Does your girlfriend have blonde hair and a cowboy hat??".

Rainbow nodded again.

"I've seen her today. She rescued my kids. She somehow was very brave. I asked her how and she said that her girlfriend would need to her to be strong when she found her. I'm guessing that she wants to be strong for you in case you need it".

Rainbow smiled slightly.

"Thank you for telling me", she said.

The woman smiled. She handed Rainbow a blanket. Rainbow was put down on her feet. The woman wrapped the blanket around her shoulders. Rainbow held on to it.

"Thank you".

The woman smiled.

"You're welcome".

With that she turned and left.

"C'mon kid. Let's getcha to your friends".

Rainbow looked at the man. She nodded. They slowly walked beside him, wincing in pain.

Soon they arrived at a text. People were being treated, others giving out water bottles and food.

Rainbow spotted a group of girls. She smiled. She knew who they were. She spotted blonde hair and a hat. The girls were sitting on chairs, huddled.

"Um excuse me??", the man called.

The girls looked up at them. They gasped. Applejack saw Rainbow.

The five got up and ran over to her. Applejack brought her in for a hug. Rainbow hugged back.

Rainbow began to cry. She buried her face into Applejack's shirt and cried. The girls stayed like that for a few minutes. Finally pulling away Applejack looked down at Rainbow.

"Look at you. You look terrible".

Applejack picked her up. Rainbow laid her head on Applejack's shoulder.

"You're safe now".

Rainbow nodded.

The girls headed to the tent. Rainbow was set down on an empty bed. People tended to her wounds. She was bandaged up and given water.

Applejack helped her take a drink of water.

She put the bottle down. Rainbow smiled.

"Thanks. Man, what a day".

Applejack took her hand.

"Rainbow. Ah was so scared. For a while ah thought you were dead. But I knew you were strong and would be smart enough to head here".

Rainbow smiled at her. AJ kissed her hand.

"I love you", the blonde said.

"I love you too".

Applejack wrapped an arm around her briging her for a hug. Rainbow hugged back weakly.

"I hate earthquakes".

The other girls giggled. Applejack didn't.

She pulled Rainbow onto her lap. Rainbow yawned.

"Go to sleep. I'll be right here".

Rainbow snuggled into Applejack's arms. She closed her eyes, feeling gentle kisses on her forehead and her arm being rubbed. She fell asleep, knowing she was finally safe and sound with her friends and in Applejack's arms. She was safe.
