Applejack looked around the kitchen.

"Babe!!", she called. The blonde walked out to the living.

"Have you seen the bag of candy??".

She stopped. Rainbow was sitting on the sofa, a bag full of candy in her hand. Rainbow stared at her, eyes wide.

"No".

Applejack sighed. "Seriously??".

She walked over to the girl. Standing in front of her she held her hand out. Rainbow pouted and gave the candy up. Applejack took it and stared at her.

Rainbow looked back at her.

"What??".

Applejack rolled her eyes. "Babe. Come and eat dinner".

Rainbow sighed. "I don't wanna".

Applejack raised an eyebrow.

"Ya can't keep eating candy all of the time. It ain't good".

Rainbow shrugged.

"Ah'm gunna have ta start hidin' the candy from ya".

Rainbow's eyes narrowed. "You wouldn't".

Applejack smirked. "Try me little girl".

Rainbow sighed. "Fine. I'll eat the stupid junk".

Applejack grabbed her hand and they walked into the kitchen. There were two plates on the table. They sat down. Rainbow looked at the plate.

Chicken and rice. Rainbow looked at Applejack with a serious face.

"What are we, Spanish??".

Applejack face palmed. "No need ta be racist", she said.

Rainbow shrugged rolled her eyes. She crossed her arms and looked at the food. After a minute she picked up her chicken. It smelled good. She took a bite. Applejack glanced up at her. Rainbow was enjoying the chicken. That was a start.
The teen ate her chicken to the bone. It was really good.

Applejack gave her another piece. She had to bribe Rainbow into eating some of the rice. Rainbow kept complaining about not being spanish.

"Shut up about spanish people", Applejack scolded. "Eat your food".

"I am eatn da foo", Rainbow said with a mouth full. "Id really goo. I like chigen".

Applejack giggled. "You sound funny".

Rainbow swallowed and stuck her tongue out. "Done".

Applejack leaned over and kissed her cheek.

"Good. You can have candy later".

Rainbow's fell open.

"You're mean but okay".

Applejack sighed and picked her up. Rainbow whined.

"Stooooop iiiiit".

Applejack rolled her eyes. "Stop bein ah child".

Rainbow pouted. "It's my job as a citizen to bring equality to children as myself across the globe. Free the pigeons!!!".

Applejack flipped her over and held her upside down.

"What is wrong with you??", she asked. Rainbow shrugged.

"I'm just being a good patriot to the animal kingdom of my fair country. FREE THE PIGEONS!!! FREE THE PIGEONS!!".

Applejack dropped her onto the couch.

"Go back to sleep Rainbow".

Rainbow giggled. Applejack pinned her down and sat on her stomach. Rainbow giggled uncontrollably. Applejack watched her grinning. The teen laughed and laughed.

"I said free the pigeons", she laughed.

She sighed and calmed down. It was quiet between the two. Rainbow looked at her seriously.

Then in a deep, serious voice she said, "Oink Oink".

Rainbow was cracking up. She couldn't stop laughing. Applejack looked at like like she had gone nuts.

"Okay. Calm down babe".

Rainbow had tears in her eyes from laughing. Applejack watched as she was still going. It was about another 2 minutes until she finally finished.

"Okay. Okay. I'm done".

Applejack shook her head. She looked at her.

"Go ta sleep little girl".

Rainbow stuck her out at her.

"I'm not a little girl. I'm just young and short".

Rainbow pouted. Applejack smiled.

"No. You're ah lil girl. Now go ta sleep. You're tired".

She got off and picks her up around her wiast. She carried her like that upstairs.

"This is not what I had in mind", Rainbow said.

Applejack rolled her eyes.

"Shut up and go to sleep".

She dropped Rainbow on the bed. The teen said, "Ow. Abuse!!".

Applejack rolled her eyes.

"Shut up"

Rainbow sat up. "I think it's the sugar that was talking", she said. "When can I get some more candy??".

Applejack sat down.

"Later".

Rainbow groaned and laid down.

"Cuddle buddy!!".

Applejack smiled and wrapped her arms around her and laid down.
Rainbow laid her head on Applejack's chest. Applejack hummed while stroking the girl's hair. That always put her to sleep.

A soft snore filled the room. Applejack smiled. Rainbow was a deep sleeper so Applejack could easily slip out from underneath her. The girl stayed asleep.

Applejack took out a small bag of Reeses pieces and put it down next to the girl. She walked out of the room. Applejack spent the rest of the day watching reruns of Criminal minds. About the 5 episode she heard a "YAY!!!".

Next thing she knew she heard a bang.

"I'm okay!".

Applejack got up. Rainbow came running in.

"What was that??", Applejack asked.

Rainbow smiled dumbly.

"I ran into the wall by accident".

Applejack chuckled. Rainbow ran up to her and hugged her.

"I love you AJ", she said.

Applejack hugged her back. She felt Rainbow's hair underneath her chin.

"Ah love you too ya goofball".

Rainbow pulled away. She opened the bag of candy. The girls sat on the couch and watched Criminal minds. Every now and again. Rainbow would spare a few pieces of candy to the blonde. Applejack didn't mind. She was just happy to see Rainbow happy and somehow alive.

"Hey Applejack??".

Applejack looked at Rainbow.

"Can pigeons play sports??".

Applejack looked at her.

"What do you think??".

Rainbow thought. "It guess. Yup".

Applejack smiled. "Then they can".

"I've seen pigeons play sports", Rainbow said.

"What were they playin??".

Rainbow sighed. "An eating contest to see who can eat the most seeds from a lady that was feeding them".

Applejack looked at her and smiled.

"It was funny. But then a dude from our school showed up and scared them off. I threw a stick at him".

Then it was Applejack's turn to laugh.

"You're crazy", she laughed.

Rainbow smiled. "So are you. Ms.Holdyourgirlfriendupsidedown".

Applejack smiled. "No. That was logical. You're crazy".

Rainbow took Applejack's hand and looked at like it was most interesting thing in the world. Applejack suddenly felt teeth nibble on her knuckle gently.

Ya know what. I don't even care. Let the girl have her fun.
