"Raincloud!!".

"Why must they always call me that??".

(A.N: That name will be explained in later chapters)

Rainbow sighed. She stood up, 2 trays in her hands.

'Why do I have to carry a stupid tray??", she thought.

Walking in the room, her step-mom and 3 sisters sat on their beds.

They were the girls that Rainbow hated with all her heart. Probably jealous or something. Rainbow didnt know, and frankly didnt care. But she remained kind and polite just as she promised her mother.
She handed them their breakfast.

"Good morning. Hope you all had a good night sleep".

Rainbow's aunt, Lucille Sash, sneered and said, "Well, it's about time. Hurry up and get the girls' clothes ready. You have school".

Rainbow nodded. "Yes ma'am".

What she would give to tell her off. But she doesn't. Walking out of the room she walked into her room. Grabbing her bag she brushed her hair and then threw the brush on her bed.

She looked in the mirror and took a deep breath.

"Be kind and don't give up", she said to herself quietly.

Rainbow walked out of her room and into the girls' room. She stood at the door. The girls were getting dressed.

"Turn around!!", Adagio screamed.

Rainbow whipped around. "Sorry. I'll wait downstairs. She left and closed the door.

"Okay then".

She jogged down the stairs. Her broken down shoes hitting the clean marble floor.

Your probably wondering. "MARBLE FLOOR??". Well they lived in a mansion and the Dazzling family were kinda a big deal in Canterlot. They were one of the most well known people in town, though not liked by all. The people didn't give Rainbow a second glance, but not her cousins. They were beautiful, but ugly on the inside.

"Come on".

Rainbow turned and saw the girls standing there, looking as great and beautiful as usual.

The girls left, Rainbow's stomach growling. She wasn't allowed to eat in the morning, only during school and after the girls and their mother and dinner.

"Let's take car", Adagio said.

She, Aria and Sonata walked over to the red convertable and got in. Rainbow watched them drive off.

"And now my daily exercise".

She started off to school, alone. Just as she had always been and probably always will.
