It came the day of the ball. Everyone was use getting ready. Rainbow on the other hand, was not.

She was helping her sisters get ready.

"Are you sure you want this perfume??. It's really strong??".

Adagio nodded. "Of coarse I am. I want to smell amazing so the princess cannot but notice me".

"Raincloud. I need help putting on my dress", Sonata called.

Rainbow sprayed the perfume. The smell stung her nose causing her eyes to water.

She backed away and walk over to Sonata.

"Are you okay??", Sonata asked. She actually had a genuine worried look on her face.

Rainbow wiped her watery eyes.

"Yeah I'm fine. It's just the perfume", Rainbow said quietly.

She held Sonata put on her dress. Their Aunt came in when they were finished. She smiled.

"No doubt the princess will choose one of you to dance".

The girls smiled.

"Oh I can't wait to meet her. She's so gorgeous. And she's very rich".

Rainbow frowned. Were these girls seriously only going just for the princess' money??.

"It's time to go. Now remember girls. Grace and poise. Don't slouch and try to relax as well. Don't be so rigid".

The walked downstairs.

"I rented a limo for us".

She wasn't lying. There was a limo outside the mansion.

The four walked out and got into the limo. It drove off, Rainbow watching it with a heavy heart.

She went inside and leaned on the door. Leaning on it she sighed. She decided that she should go out to the nearby garden.

Sitting on the bench she sighed.

Suddenly a bird landed on her shoulder.

Rainbow looked at the creature. She smiled sadly.

"Hey little guy".

The bird tweeted.

Rainbow sighed again. "Looks like I won't be going to the ball. So much for getting a out of here".

Suddenly a light came from the middle of the room. Rainbow shielded her eyes. When the glow went away Rainbow lowered her arm and squinted.

Her eyes went wide. She gasped.

"Hello Rainbow". The woman standing in front of her smiled.

Rainbow couldn't believe it.
