Rainbow's POV :

Finally we could leave. I got up, grabbed my crappy backpack and walked out of the empty room.

Walking down the sidewalk I passed the elementary school. I waved to some kids that were in recess.

I miss recess. Those kids are so lucky.

I walked up the long drive way up to the mansion. The girls were already home. The expensive cars were inside the gigantic storage room filled other expensive and valuable cars that I'm not allowed to be near.

Walking, the doors made an echo sound. I look around the large room. The crystal chandelier hanging on the ceiling, the marble pillars and polished floors that I have to polish again later.

"Raincloud!!".

How do they always know when I get home. I swear those girls have super sonic hearing.

Hurrying up the stairs I walked down the large hallway and found my sisters' room. They shared a room because 1) they actually get along well. 2) the room is big enough and 3) so they don't have to share a room with me. Even though I sleep in the attic.

Can somebody explain to me why we live in a beautiful mansion with over 20 guest rooms for Pete sake and I get the attic.

Walking in i stopped at the doorway. "Yes??".

"I need you to go to the store and buy us some drinks from the smoothie place", Aunt Lucille said holding out some money I reach for it. She suddenly grabbed my wrist.

"Steal any........ and I make your decapitation look like a suicide", she growled darkly. I nodded. Scary much??.

"Dont go to the one you go to. That place is for low-lifes. You know where to go, right??".

I nodded.

"Royal smoothie palace".

Adagio nodded. "Now go".

I turned and walked away.

It took about 30 minutes to get there walking. I haven't gotten a license but I knew somewhat how to drive. I was pretty good at it.

Walking in I got the drinks and paid for it with the money Aunt Lucille gave me.

Walking out I collided with someone almost spilling the drinks. Almost.
I look up, my eyes widened.

"I'm so sorry". The words flew out of my mouth immediatly. It was just an instinct I have. I bump into someone, I say sorry. Simple but effective.

Applejack stood there. "Oh, uh hi again".

I blushed a bit embarrassed.

"Are you okay??", I asked.

She smiled. "I'm fine. Sorry bout that".

"It's fine".

I walked away. That didn't just happen. I manage to bump into Applejack twice in less than a week. Someone kill me.

I made it back home and went in.

I realized I still had my backpack on. Dang it!! I have homwork to do. Along with my chores. I knock on the wooden door.

"Come in".

I turn the handle with my elbow and use my back to slowly open the door.

My sisters were there, sitting on their beds with our witch of an aunt. I walk towards them. Handing them their drinks they took a sip.

"You can leave now", Aunt Lucille said.

"I'm going out", I called.

I hurried down the stairs and out of the house without waiting for a response. I'll probably get a slap for that but that doesn't matter right now.

A gentle breeze flew by as I walked to the nearby stable that was 15 minutes away. When I got there I saw the horses out in the field. A man was grooming one.

Whistling I got his attention. The man smiled. I jogged over to him.

"Hey Farmer HS".

"Well how do ya do Rainbow??".

He was one of the only people that knew me and my name.

I look at the horse he was grooming. The creature moved up infront of me. I held a hand out and touched it's soft coat.

Her name was Gentle. The most gentlest horse you'll find in equestria. She was my favorite. I learned to ride a horse when I was five and loved em ever since.

"Hey girl. Wanna go for a ride??".

"Don't cha got homework", HS laughed.

"Homeowrk. Lomework. It can wait".

"Alright then. She's all yours, just bring er back", he said a grin on his face.

"it was just one time. I was 6".

HS laughed. "I'm hust playing. I know you take good care of her".

I got on her saddle. "See ya".

She went off. There was nothing more I loved than to feel the wind in my hair and, colors flying by. It felt on top of the world.

We raced to a nearby forest. It was my favorite place to go. Call me corny but it's cool. I love it there. I can hear the animals and see the light shining through the trees.

Getting off me and Gentle went over to a large tree and I sat down. Taking my backpack off I took out my homework.

"Okay. Let's get this over with".

I hate homework. Simple as that. It's pointless and a waist of the time I don't have.

We stayed there for about an hour but I got it done.

"My eyes hurt from homework. Is that suppose to happen??", I say to Gentle.

Standing up I grabbed my bookbag and sliped it on and got back on Gentle. We rode all the way back to the farm. I returned her just like I promised I would and went home.

The first thing I here when I walk in is "Raincloud!!. COME HERE!!".

This can't be good. I head upstairs towards my room. Throwing my bag to the floor I hurry to the spa room. Yup we one here too. I walk in. Adagio stood there, wrapped in a towel. She looked angry.

"WHERE WERE YOU??".

I slowly walk up to her. "I was out".

Suddenly my head was turned. A stinging sensation was on my cheek. I look at her in shock.

She glared at me. "I needed you to do my homework, now you have extra chores to do tonight. Leave!!".

She gave me a shove out the door. I touch my cheek. It hurt to touch it and I felt and bruise forming. Just great.

I walk back downstairs and begin on my chores. Better to do it now than later, right??.
