Trixie sighed. She looked o it of the window at the snow. Snips and Snails watched her from a few feet away.

"Oh C'mon Trixie", Snips said. "You can't be mopin' around all day. People will see you".

Trixie sighed. "So??. It's no use".

Snips and Snails looked at eachother then back at Trixie.

"No use??. But you're Trixie. The greatest girl in town. Noone here is anything close to you".

Trixie smiled. "I know".

She sighed. "Can you believe her??", Trixie sneered standing up.

"She rejected me. What's wrong with her??. Everyone in town kws now. I'm done for. Rejected. Humiliated".

Trixie sighed and sat back down, covering her face.

"Trixie", Snips said. The two goes walked up to her. "You've go to pull yourself together. More soda??".

Trixie sighed.

"What's the point??
I'm done for. A laughing stalk!!".

Snips and Snails frowned. "It really hurts to see you Trixie. Looking so down in the dumps like this. But you're better than this. C'mon".

Trixie grinned. Snips and Snails smiled.

"Everyone wants to be just like", Snips said. "You're the best woman around. You're smart and beautiful and an amazing hunter. You're talented and strong. What kins of girl wouldn't want you??. It's not so hard to why".

Trixie smiled. "You're right boys. I am great. And none says no to Trixie".

Snips and Snails walked up to her.

"Noone's slick as Trixie", Snips said. "Noone's quick as Trixie".

"Noone is as perfect as Trixie".

Trixie placed a hand on her hip.

"As a woman of my beauty and wits, I'm amazing".

Snips and Snails walked over to a group of men.

"Ask any man in town and they won't go up against you", Snips laughed.

The men shook their heads.

"Noone can beat her", one said. "She the strongest woman in town. She's the smartest hunter in town", another said smiling.

Trixie smirked. "You guys are right".

She placed a hand to her chin in thought.

"I'll have Applejack as my wife one way or another".

She gasped. A smirk crawled onto her face.

"And I know just how to do it".

Suddenly the door of the Inn opened. In came Applejack's father. The old man was frantic and wide eyed.

"Please. Help. We have no time to lose".

Jackson ran up to Trixie.

"Trixie!!", shouted. "We must hurry. She's in trouble".

Trixie laughed. "What's the fuss about??. Who??".

"Applejack!!", Jackson shouted. "He's locked her in a dungeon!!".

Trixie held in a giggle. "Hold on Jackson. Slow down. Who kicked Applejack in a dungeon??".

Jackson looked at her. "And beast. A horrible monster. He's taken her prisoner in his castle. I was set free a few weeks ago but I got lost in the woods. We must hurry".

"I guess old Jackson here has been in the workshop for too long", someone laughed.

Everyone busted out laughing.

"I'm telling the truth!!", Jackson shouted exasperated.

Trixie placed a hand on his shoulder. She laughed.

"Come now Jackson. You're obviously Ill your journey here. Don't be rididculous. Though I was winder ingredients where she was. I haven't seen her in weeks. I'm sure she's fine".

Jackson quickly ran out of the building. He hurried home. The old man arrived and threw the door open. He quickly grabbed his coat. He put together a small basket of food and water and grabbed a his lamp.

"If noone will help me, then I'll do it myself. I've got to save her".

He hurried out of the door, shutting it tight.

Travier looked around at the many living animate objects.

"Okay everyone", he said seriously.

"We have exactly 24 hours to create the most romantic night known to man or beast".

Travier chuckled. The clock looked around to see noone else found it funny. He cleared throat.

"Well um. You all know your jobs", he said. He pointed to one half of the crowd of brushes and mops and dusters and coat racks.

"Half of you to the East wing. Half of you to the west wing. The rest, follow me".

Every...... uh.... thing was gone in a flash. The small stool Travier was standing on was gone in a poof. Travier fell onto the carpet.

"Oomph!!".

Runsworth chuckled. Him and Mrs.Pot hopped up to him.

"Travier. Relax. Evrything will turn out just fine".

Mrs.Pot gave hardy laugh.

"There's obviously a spark between the two", she said.

Travier smiled. "Well there's no harm in fanning the flame a little".

He then got serious. He cleared his throat.

"But those two must fall in love tonight if we ever expect to be human again".

The group sighed. "Ah human. C'mon", Runsworth said smiling. "Let's get to work".

Applejack closed her book. She smiled and looked at the beast. The beast smiled. She sighed.

"I love that story", she said.

"Me too", Applejack said. "What was yir favorite part??".

The half human half beast girl thought for a moment. She smiled.

"I like the part when Juliet was talking about Romeo. She was so poet about it".

Applejack giggled. "Ah think so too. Ah like that part because of how she talks about Romeo. She was sayin' that even if they weren't suppose ta be tagether, she would do it anyway. No matter of he was a Montague. She loved him for him".

The two smiled.

"Can you read it to me again??".

Applejack smiled. "How about you read it to me??", she asked.

The clawed girl frowned. "Umm I can try".

Applejack gave her the book. The beast looked at the words. She sighed.
"I can't", she said.

Applejack frowned. "You can't read??".

"No".

"You've never learned how??".

"It's not that", the beast said. "It's just....... my parents died when I was young so I never really had the chance to learn".

Applejack placed a hand on her arm.

"Ah'm sorry. Ah didn't know".

The beast shrugged her shoulders.

"Not your fault. So yeah. I can't read that well. I mean, I can read, but not much".

Applejack smiled. "Ah'll help you".

The girl began to read slowly. Applejack helped her when needed. Applejack thought it was very brave and honest of her to admit that she had trouble reading. She was honest. Applejack liked that.

This girl may not be a beautiful human girl, but she was better than any human girl she had ever met. The beast was no beast to Applejack. She had a heart.
