Applejack made her way through the dark hallway. It led to only one door. Applejack looked around.

Walking up to the door Applejack pushed it open. She took a peek.

Noone was in there. Walking in she immediately saw a glass dome on a table in the center of the dark room.
Her eyes widened.

A pink glowing sparkling rose was being protected by the glass dome. Applejack walked up to the table. She stared at the rose in awe.

"Woah".

"What are you doing??!!".

Applejack turned around quickly. She saw the beast standing there.

"Ah wasn't gonna touch anything. Ah was just lookin".

"I told you not to come here and you go against my orders", the beast said walking up to Applejack.

Applejack backed away from the table. She crossed her arms.

"You're not the boss of me. You're not my father".

"Oh yes I am", the beast argued. "You're my prisoner and this is my castle. So I can tell you what to do. Plus, shouldn't you know not to go places you're told not to??".

Applejack shrugged. "Yes,ah do but mah curiosity got the best of me. Like a normal person. Plus, why are ya hidin this anyway??".

Applejack motioned to the flower.

"Ah mean it's glowing fir goodness sake. Why??".

"Just get out!!".

The beast glared at her angrily. Applejack turned quickly walked out. She was done here. She quickly ran down the hall and down the stairs. She passed Runsworth and Travier. Applejack got to the front door of the castle.

The teen looked at the living objects.

"Ah can't stay here anymore", she said grabbing her cape.

"But you promised", Runsworth exclaimed.

"Ah know what ah said", Applejack said. "But ah can't be under the same roof as that beast. Ah'm sorry".

Applejack swung the door open. She hurried outside. She saw her horse tied up. Running over to him, Applejack untied him and hopped on.

"Let's go home boy!!. Hurry!!".

Applejack raced through the snow and into the woods.

The horse raced past trees and trees. Applejack wasn't sure where they were going but all she knew wad that she had to be anywhere but the castle.
Suddenly her horse collapsed. Applejack fell into the snow. She quickly sat up. She gasped. Wolves. There were three of them. Applejack's horse got up. Applejack looked around in fear as the wolves circled them. She clutched the riding reigns one hand, her cloak in the other.

One wolf turned and approached them. Applejack felt her heart beat in her ears. Suddenly it pounced.

Applejack shut her eyes tightly.

He heard a snarl. Opening her eyes, she gasped. There was the beast fighting off the wolf. Applejack watched as the wolf scratched at the beast. Applejack was terrified. She was her height.

Applejack wasn't so sure that she would be able to fight off the wolves. The beast was tackled by one of them into the snow.

The beast kicked it off with her legs. She was surprisingly strong. The wolves continued to try and grt to Applejack but the beast tackled yhem before they could.

The beast was scratched up. Getting up she growled at the wolves who thought that they should get out of there. The three animals ran off.

The beast stood there, panting. She suddenly fell onto the snow unconscious. Applejack looked around. No wolves. She turned around. She suddenly stopped. She could escape now and go home. But then what would happen to the beast??. After all, she did save Applejack's life just now. If she left, Applejack wouldn't be able to forgive herself.

Turning around she looked the unconscious girl/ creature. She walked over to the beast. She knelt and picked her up. Applejack walked over to Sampson. She placed the beat on the saddle. Taking the reigns Applejack headed back to the castle.

Sampson made a noise of disagreement.

"Ah know", Applejack said. "But we couldn't just leave er there, now could we??".

Sampson made a grumpy face. He snorted. Applejack looked up at the castle. She sighed.

"Guess we're stayin".

Walking up to the front doors, she lifted the beast in her arms. She carried her inside.

"You don't have to take care of me".

Applejack shrugged. "Ah know. But ah wanna".

The beast raised an eyebrow as Applejack attended to her wounds. The wolves hadn't gone easy.

Applejack looked at the scratches and marks.

"Does it hurt??".

The beast shrugged. "Yeah but it's not so bad".

Applejack cleaned a few wounds on her arms. She saw bite wounds. As she cleaned them up, she looked up at the beast.

"Thank you though. For savin mah life. I didn't think you'd do that".

The beast was genuinely surprised. She looked at Applejack.

"You're welcome. I just did what I thought was right. I wasn't going to let you get eaten by wolves".

The beast rubbed her neck.

"I'm sorry I yelled at you. I just..... I'm not used to being around another person in years so I'm not good with".

She motioned between the two of them.

"This".

Applejack smiled.

"Well. Apology accepted. Ah understand completely. How about we try this again??. Start over??".

Applejack reached a hand out.

"Hi, Ah'm Applejack".

The beast raised an eyebrow. She looked at the hand then at Applejack.

"C'mon", Applejack said. "Ah don't bite unlike you".

The beast looked her hand again. She slowly reached out and took the blonde's hand. They shook hands.

"Nice to meet you".

Applejack smiled. Maybe living here wouldn't be so bad after all.
