Beauty and the beast part 5

Runsworth and Travier watched as their mistress paced around the room.

"Mistress. She could be the one. The girl that will break the spell and break the curse".

The beast rolled her eyes.

"Don't you think I know that??. But she would never fall for me. She's beautiful and well..... Hello!!! I'm scary!!".

Runsworth chuckled.

"You must show her that you are not a monster or someone that can and will kill her".

The beast glared at the two. The two were laughing quietly.

"Shut up".

The beast crossed her arms. She cracked a smile.

"Okay. Maybe I get a teensy tiny bit too angry at times".

Runsworth and Travier gave her a look.

"Okay. Maybe alot angry. But hey if you were in my shoes, wouldn't you be angry all the time too??".

"No".

The beast stuck her tongue out.

"Screw you both".

Travier approached her.

"Mistress. I think that Runsworth may be right about this. You have to show the girl the good lighthearted side of you. Now, here's a few tips".

The beast sighed and slouched. "Ugh ew grown up tips".

"Try not to shout at the girl. Try being a little........ nice".

The mistress placed a clawed hand on her hip.

"And how am I not nice??".

Runsworth shrugged his "shoulders".

"Just trust me. Um and you must try to not look down all the time. This place is already gloomy and dark as it is. Then there's you. The one that keeps it this way".

"Yeah. Like I wanted to be a freak", the beast snapped. She looked at the Rose under the glass dome. It glowed and shone a pink light. It was magical after all.

She sighed.

"I bet after what I've done to her, she won't want to even see me or talk to me".

The beast sulked, her head down.

"It's hopeless".
------------------------------------

Applejack peeked around the empty hallway. The hallway was cleared. She stepped out of her room.

She needed to find the kitchen. She was hungry. She decided to go the way she was led down earlier.

She didn't see Runsworth hop around the corner. He stopped when he saw her.

"The mademoiselle!!", he exclaimed. "She's come out".

He hopped down the hall, his metal candle holder clanking.

"Mademoiselle", he called.

Applejack turned around. She looked down and saw him.

"I see you've left your room", he said.

Applejack nodded. "Yeah. Ah'm a bit hungry".

Runsworth smiled. "Hungry you say??. Follow me".

Applejack smiled and followed the candle lamp down the hall. They came into the kitchen. Applejack looked around in shock.

Plates and pots and cups were moving. By themselves.

"Alright everyone. Time to clean up".

A tea pot was hopping around. It haf a female voice.

"Here will be no dinner tonight I'm afraid".

The silverware looked dissapointed.

"Actually", Runsworth spoke up.

Every..... uh thing in the room turned and looked at the two.

The tea pot smiled.

"Hello. Come in. Come in. Oh my, we do have a guest. There's been talk about a girl in the castle but I didn't believe it. I'm Mrs.Pot".

Applejack smiled. "Hi. Ah'm Applejack. Can everythin' in this castle talk??".

Mrs. Pot laughed.

"No. Now, what brings you down to the kitchen??".

"She's hungry", Runsworth said.

Mrs.Pot lit up.

"You hear that everyone??", she asked the other utensils. "She's hungry. Get the dinner ready and the table set".

Travier suddenly came running over to them.

"What is she doing out of her room??", he asked.

"Well. She's hungry", Mrs.Pot said matter of factly.

"B-But I don't think the mistress would be very happy for her to be here".

"Oh for heaven's sake", Mrs.Pot argued turning around. "I'm not about to let the child go hungry".

"Besides", Runsworth says.

"It's been years since we last had a guest. Let's give her the best. We must make her feel welcome".

"Start the dinner".
-------------------------------------

"That was delicious", Applejack said.

Travier looked at himself. His eyes widened.

"Oh my. Look at the time. I think it's time we should be off to bed".

Applejack sighed contently.

"Ah couldn't go ta sleep now. Ah've never been in an enchanted castle before".

Runsworth and Travier laughed nervously.

"Enchanted??. Who said it was enchanted??".

Applejack grinned. "Ah figured it out mahself. You're a talkin' clock an a candle. If that ain't magic, then ah don't know what is".

Applejack stood up.

"Ahvehd like ta have a look around the castle. If that's alright ah mean".

Runsworth smiled. "But of coarse. Would you like a tour-".

"We really shouldn't", Travier interrupted. "There's places you shouldn't be in and we can't risk that".

Applejack leaned on the table, grinning.

"Perhaps you can show me around. You must know everything about this place, right??".

Travier looked flustered.

"Oh uh well".

He cleared his throat.

"I do, for a matter of fact. C'mon".

Travier and Runsworth hopped off. Applejack waved by to all the "others". The three ventured out of the room and down a hall.

Travier began to tell everything he knew about the castle. Everything.
But Applejack just blocked out his nagging. The blonde looked around in awe.

They went down a hallway. Applejack noticed a dark stairway. She wondered what was up there.

"What's that??", she asked.

Travier and Runsworth looked at her. Applejack pointed over at the stairway. They looked at it. Their eyes widened.

"Oh that's nothing. Don't worry about it", Runsworth said a bit too quickly to be telling the truth.

Applejack walked towards it.

"What's up there??", she asked.

"Nothing", Travier said. He laughed nervously. "Absolutely nothing".

"That must be the West wing", she thought outloud.

Travier and Runsworth clocked her bath.

"You mustn't go up there", Runsworth said.

"Why??", Applejack asked. Hands on her hips. "Is she hiding somethin??".

"What. No".

Applejack stepped over them. Once again they blocked her feet.

"Then there must be no harm in me goin up there".

"But we haven't shown you the library".

That got her attention.

"A library??".

The two objects nodded. "Oh yes. We have a big library with many books. Follow us".

Applejack began to follow them. But she suddenly stopped. As much as she wanted to see the library, she really wanted to know what was so forbidden about the west wing.

Runsworth and Travier were too busy chatting and rambling that they didn't notice Applejack sneak off up the staircase.

There wasn't any harm in just looking, right??. She wondered what was awaiting for her in that wing.

So yeah. I changed the story up a bit to make it more like them. So tell me what you thought :)
