Applejack smiled she walked through the gateway way of the village town. It was beautiful day and everything was quiet. For now.

She sighed, swinging the basket in her hand back and forth. She headed into towns".

"Little town. It's a quiet village. Everyday, like the one befoooore. Little town, full of little people. Wakin up to saaay".

Suddenly the window dowsing and doors opened up people smiled and greeted eachother.

"Bonjour!!".

"Bonjour!!".

"Bonjour!!".

"Bonjour!!"

"Bonjour!!".

Applejack smiled. She spotted the village baker.

"There goes the baker with his tray like always. The same Ole bead an rolls ta seeell. Every mornin' just the same, since the mornin' since we came, to this poor provincial town".

She walked up to the baker. He smiled when he saw her.

"Good morning AJ", he said.

"Good mornin", Applejack replied.

"Where ya heading off to??", he asked.

Applejack took out a book.

"The bookshop", she said smiling. "Ah just finished the most amazin story. About a beanstalk and an ogre and-".

"Oh that's nice", the baker cut her off.
"I gotta go", he said waving and headed into the bakery.

Applejack shrugged. She opened her book and walked off. She walked past a two woman.

"Look there she goes, that girl is strange no question", they sang. "Dazed and distracted can't you tell??".

One woman shook her head and looked at a man next to her.

"Never part of any crowd", she sang.

The man rolled his eyes. "Cause her head's on some clouds".

A group of people watched the blonde walk by.

"No denying she's a funny girl, AJ".

Applejack hitched a ride on a wagon. She waved to a man. He smiled.

"Bonjour".

"Good day", Applejack said.

"How is your family??".

A woman walked waved at the man.

"Bonjour, good day. How is your wife??".

In the bakery nearby a lady said to the baker.

"I need, six eggs".

"That's too expensive", her husband said.

Applejack hopped off the wagon.

"I want much more than this provincial life". She walked into the bookshop.

"Ah Applejack", bookshop keeper said smiling at the teen.

"Good mornin. Ah've come ta return the book I borrowed", Applejack said handing him the book. She walked over the long bookshelf and climbed a ladder, lookimg at all the different books.

Finished already??", the man asked in surprise.

"Oh ah couldn't put it down
Have ya got anythin new??", she asked.

The bookshop keeper chuckled. "Not since yesturday".

Applejack smiled at him. "Thanks alright". Looking back at the books she found one and picked it out.

"Ah'll borrow this one".

She showed it to the middle-aged man. He laughed again.

"That one??. But you've read it twice".

Applejack giggled. "Well it's mah favorite. She climbed down the ladder and spun around.

"Far off places, daring sword fights, magic spells, uh prince in disguise", she said dreamily.

"Well if ya like that much it's yours", the man said picking up a box.

Applejack's eyes widened. Was he serious??.

"But sir-".

"I insist", the bookshop keeper said smiling.

Applejack smiled happily. "Well thank you. Thank you very much".

She hurried out the store and opened up the book to the first page. She walked as she read smiling.

She walked past a few men, who watched her walk by.

They sang, "Look there she goes, that girl is so peculiar, I wonder if she's feeling well".

Three girls at the town well noticed the blonde as well. They all sang.

"With a dreamy far off look".

"And her nose stuck in a book. What a wussle to the rest of us, AJ".

Applejack sighed smiling. She sat down by a well, a flock of sheep around her.

"Ohhhhh isn't this amaziiing??. It's my favorite part because. You'll seeeeee".

She looked at the sheep, who just grazed on the grass lazily.

"Heeeere's where she meets prince charming. But she won't discover that it's him till chapter threeeee".

Applejack got up and continued walking, the towns people watching her.

"Well it's no wonder that her name means beauty", a woman said. "Her looks have got no parallel".

A man nodded. "But behind that fair facade. I'm afraid she's rather odd. Very different from the rest of us".

The towns people nod and sang.

"She's different from the rest of us. Yes different from the rest of us, AJ!!".

Nearby a man walked through the town carrying a deer on his strong shoulder, a proud smirk on his face. His name was Gaston. (I'll just keep some names from the movie cause some songs won't make sense if the names are changed)

"Wow!!", his friend, Skyline said, trailing close behind him. "You didn't miss a shot Gaston. You're the greatest hunter ever".

Gaston smirked. "I know", he said in a cocky tone.

Skyline smiled. "No beast alive stands a chance against you. Hehe and no girl for that matter".

"It's true Skyline. And I've got my sight set on that one".

Skyline saw who he was pointing. At Applejack.

"The inventor's daughter??", he asked confused.

"She's the one. The lucky girl I'm going to marry".

Skyline tried to argue. "But she's-".

"The most beautiful girl in town", Garon cut him off".

Skyline nodded. "I-I know but-".

Gaston turned to him. "That makes her the best and don't I deserve the best??".

He gave Skyline a challenging look.

"Well, I mean you do", Skyline rambled. "B-But-".

Gaston turned and looked at Applejack was walking away, her eyes on the page.

"Right from the moment that I met her, saw her. I said she's gorgeous and I feeeell. Here in town there's only she, who is beautiful as me".

He looked at himself in a nearby mirror.

"So I'm making plans to woo and marry heeeer".

He walked towards Applejack to talk to her. Three blonde girls were at the well, fawning over him.

"Look there, he goes, isn't he dreamy??. Monsieur Gaston. Oh he's so cute. Be still, my heart, I'm hardly breathing. He such a tall, dark, strong and handsome brut!!!".

As Gaston was walking a sudden crowd formed, blocking him. People shouted at one another.

"Bonjour".

"Pardon".

"Good day".

"Mais oui".

"You call this bacon??".

"What lovely grapes".

"Some cheese".

"Ten yards".

"I'll get the knife".

"Please let me through", Gaston said. Applejack was getting away.

"This bread, still stale".

Applejack spun a circle. "I want much more than this provincial liiife".

Gaston smiled brightly. Everyone looked at him.

"Just watch, I'm going to make AJ my wiiiife!!".

Everyone watched Applejack walk, not even noticing the singing going on around her.

"Look there she goes. That girl is strange but speacial. A most peculiar mademoiselle. It's a pity and a sin. She's doesn't quite fit in. So she really is a funny girl. A beauty but a funny girl. She really is a funny giiirl. AJ!!!".

"Bonjour!!".

"Bonjour!!".

"Bonjour!!".

"Bonjour!!".

"Bonjour!!".

Applejack stopped for a moment..She turned and looked back. Everyone went back to doing whatever. Huh. She could have sworn she heard something. Oh well. She walked off to her home and kept reading.
