Rainbow's POV:

"And then she was taken away".

I sighed. Man that was a long story but I finally got it off my chest. I look up at Fluttershy. She had a frown on her face.

"Well??", I said. "Say something".

Fluttershy smiled. "I'm so happy for you Rainbow", she said. I smiled. Oh thank the spirits.

"You mean it??".

She nodded. Meko, my friend raccoon, climbed onto her shoulder.

"I think you deserve to find someone you love".

I lool down at the dirt and frown.

"But we both know the penalty for murder. Death".

I felt my heart break in two. The only person I ever loved was going to be put to death.

"Let's go see her. It's getting dark".

I look up at Fluttershy.

"What??".

Fluttershy nodded. "Yeah. I don't see a reason why not. You have to at least see her one last time".

She had a point. This could be the only and last time I would see Applejack before..... I don't want to think about it.

"I don't know where she even is", I said.

"She's being held guarded in a tent nearby. I know where", Fluttershy said.

Meko said something. I lool up at him.
I passed by her when she was being led to the tent.

"You sure??".

He nodded.

Yes.

I sigh. "Okay then".

We got up and walked out of the tent. Looking around I saw it was night. It was beautiful but it didn't feel right. We walk through the village. Fluttershy led me to a tent. Two men were standing guard at a tent. We walk up to them.

"Rainbow Dash wants to look into the eyes of the girl that killed Storm Cloud", Fluttershy said calmly.

I hardened my face and look at the men. They looked at eachother.

"Make it fast", one of them said.

I look at Fluttershy and Meko. They nudged me foward. I slowly walk into the tent. It was lit only by the moonlight. I saw Applejack tied by her wrists to a wooden pole. I walk over her.

(Switching to No one's POV. Oh and this scene is a deleted scene in the movie. This scene is not in the movie but still no copyright intended)

Rainbow slowly made her way around her and knelt down. Applejack noticed her presence and looked up.

"Rainbow".

Rainbow touched her tan cheeks. She hugged her.

"I'm so sorry".

Applejack smiled. "What, this??. Oh Ah've had worse scrapes then this. Can't really think of any at the moment".

Rainbow pulled away and bowed her head.

"It would have been better if we'd never met. None of this would have happened".

Applejack frowned. "Rainbow Dash. Look at me".

Rainbow lifted her face and looked at her.

Applejack let out a breath. "I would rather die tomorrow than live a hundred years without knowin you".

Rainbow laid her head on Applejack's chest.

Applejack smiled.

They suddenly heard footsteps. They turned around. It was only Meko and Tank. They slowly and sadly walked up to the pair.

Applejack looked back at Rainbow Dash. She kept singing softly.

"In this world so full of fear. Full of rage and lies. Ah can see the truth so clear, in your eyes, so dry your eyes. And I'm so grateful to you".

The two girls touched foreheads.

"Ah'd have lived my whole life through. Lost firever. If ah never knew you".

"I thought our love would be so beautiful", Rainbow started singing. She leaned her back against Applejack's chest. They looked up at the night sky. The stars shone brightly.

"Somehow we'd make whole world bright. I never knew that fear and hate could be so strong. While they'd leave us with these whispers in the niiight. But still my heart is saying, we were riiiight".

They remembered the first time they met that day. Applejack was completely captivated by Rainbow Dash. They remembered the fun they had, swimming with otters and running around in the fields. What memories.

(Rainbow is italics. Applejack is bold. Normal is them singing the same line together).

They looked into eachother's eyes. They began to lean in.

"Rainbow Dash", came Fluttershy's voice, making them pause. Rainbow touched Applejack lightly on the cheek.

"I can't leave you", she said.

Applejack smiled. "You never will", she said. "No matter what happens ta me, Ah'll always be with you, firever".

Rainbow stood up. She slowly pulled her hand away. Applejack took in that last contact she would ever have with her Rainbow again. She watched Rainbow walked out.

Applejack turned. She saw Rainbow's shadow dissappear, she tent closing.

She sang into the quiet night.

"And Ah'm so grateful to you. Ah'd have lived my whole life through".

She looked up at the stars.

"Empty as, the skyyy".

Rainbow sat in her canoe, looking down at the water sadly. She could see a reflection of herself and Applejack standing together.

"Never knowing whyyy", Rainbow sadly sang.

The reflection Applejack took Rainbow's hand.

"Lost foreveeerr. If I neveer kneeew yooooou".

She saw the reflection Applejack kiss her hand and dissappear with a ripple of water. She looked away and kept on paddling to shore with a sigh and a broken heart.
