Applejack snuck into the clearing and looked around. It was near dark and she and Rainbow were suppose to meet. Suddenly she heard light footsteps. She turned around quickly. Noone was there.

"Huh ah coulda sworn".

She turned back around.

"Ahh!!".

Applejack fell back on her butt with a thud. Rainbow stood there laughing.

"Sorry", she laughed.

The blonde placed her hand over her chest.

"Rainbow. Ya nearly gave me ah heart attack", she said.

Rainbow smiled.

"Sorry".

Kneeling she reached her hand out. Pulling the blonde girl up, Rainbow's hand lingered a moment longer.

She pulled away.

Applejack smiled. She wrapped her arms around her waist. Rainbow looked down.

"I forgot that this is what your people do".

Applejack smiled at her.

"Yeah. It is. Ah mean we don't have to if ya don't feel comfortable".

Rainbow shook her head, biting her lip.

Applejack backed away slowly. She took Rainbow's hand in her.

"How about this??".

Rainbow smiled. "This is perfect".

Applejack smiled. "Whatever makes you happy", she said.

Rainbow Dash smiled at her. Her smile began to falter. How could she have forgotten??. She looked away.

Applejack noticed and frowned. "What's the matter??".

Rainbow pulled away and turned her back.

"I......... I'm suppose to get married".

Applejack's eyes widened. "What??".

Rainbow Dash turned around, eyes filled with sadness.

"I'm sorry. I forget when I'm with you and it never came into my mind. My father wants me to marry a man from my tribe. He's a good hunter and my father says that he'll be able to provide for me.....but....".

Applejack walked up to her. "But??".

Rainbow turned around and looked up at her. "But I don't want to", she said.

Applejack took her by the hands.

"Then don't".

Rainbow sighed. "I wish it were that simple. But it isn't".

Rainbow laid her head on Applejack's chest. The two just stood there. Rainbow pulled away. She looked up at the settler. Applejack looked into her eyes. She felt herself get closer to her.

Suddenly they heard a gasp. Pulling away the two girls gasped. Applejack saw one of her coworkers standing there, shock covering his face.

He raised his gun. Applejack quickly stood in front of Rainbow Dash.

"Don't!!".

They heard a sound from behind them. The girls quickly turned. A man with the same type of clothing as Rainbow came out, an angry look on his face. Rainbow's eyes widened. Storm Cloud. She saw a knife in his hand. He charged at Applejack.

"No!!"

A gunshot rang out. Applejack whipped around around to see the guy with his gun raised and smoke coming out of it. Rainbow gasped.

Storm Cloud laid in the shallow water, a bullet to the chest. Rainbow ran over to him. She checked for a pulse...... but found none.

"He's dead".

Applejack's eyes widened. She heard the man run away, leaving his gun behind.

Rainbow heard someone coming. She felt panic rise. It was the others from her tribe. They must've heard the shot. She looked at Applejack.

"Go, hide", Applejack said quickly.

Rainbow looked at her like she was insane.

"What??".

"Hurry. Go hide. And don't come out".

Rainbow didn't know what took over her but she did as told. She ran to come large shrubs and uses and hid herself. She watched from her hiding spot, her heart pounding. She saw people from her tribe come out. They gasped.

She saw one man, Soarin, checking on Storm Cloud. Soarin shook his head. Rainbow felt her breath stop. He really was dead. That guy with the gun killed him.

The men grabbed Applejack. Rainbow held a hand to her mouth. She felt tears rise up. Why was she just sitting there??. She watched with a broken heart as they dragged Applejack away. Probably off to their village.

It was quiet for a moment. Rainbow had to process what had just happened. Storm Cloud was dead. Applejack was blamed for it. Applejack was taken captive. Rainbow stood up. She had to talk to someone. And she knew the right person. Fluttershy.

The native girl ran in the direction Applejack was taken. It wa getting dark but she knew where to go in the dark.

Rainbow Dash made it to her village. She hurried to Fluttershy's home.

"Fluttershy!!".

Rainbow hurried inside. She saw Fluttershy with her pets. Fluttershy looked up at Rainbow Dash. The girl saw that she was upset and stood up. Rainbow went to her and hugged her.
"I have so much to tell you".
