Chapter 7 ♡Secret♡
Third Person's POV
A few minutes have passed as Creati watched every student and teacher head home. It wasn’t getting too dark but she was a bit anxious that her driver hadn't come yet. Soon, a black car pulled up in front of her and the window in the driver’s seat pulled down. She entered the car and they soon drove off.
“How was your first week of school, Miss Yaoyorozu?” her driver asked her.
Creati carefully took off her contacts as she replied to him, “You know you can call me Momo, right? Please don’t be too formal towards me, sir.”
“If you say so, Momo.”
She sighed, “School was fine, I quite enjoyed it actually.”
“I can tell. It seems that a certain boy seems to have made you smile,” he pointed out which caused the girl to turn bright red.
Momo looked out of the window to hide her face, “You better not think of it the other way, sir. He’s just my friend.”
The driver chuckled, “Alright then.”
The drive back home wasn’t long so she was able to head back home without worry coming from her parents. Since it is a weekend tomorrow, she has quite a schedule starting tomorrow since weekdays are her school days. With homework being added, it was clear she needed to deal with them first before her celebrity work could come in.
They soon arrived home and Momo was greeted by her parents by the living room.
“Hi sweetie, how was your first week of school?” her mother asked.
“It was good, mother! I’ve made some friends and they’re really nice, you should meet them someday,” Momo smiled.
“Really? That’s good to hear, but I am worried that someone could have noticed who you are just by the little disguise you have on you,” her father said.
Momo then reassured him, “Don’t worry father, I don’t think anyone was able to recognize me. Even my new friends would compare ‘Creati’ to ‘Momo’ but they would just assume that we just look alike and nothing much.”
(This is like Miraculous Ladybug all over again HAHAHAH)
Her father sighed in relief, “As long as your cover isn’t blown, then it’s all good. You did say you wanted to live a normal life so doing this is quite harder than I expected.”
“Momo dear, if you have any assignments, please finish them before tomorrow. You have a photoshoot scheduled,” Momo’s mother reminded her.
“Yes mother,” she answered before she went upstairs to her room.
While walking upstairs to her room, she greeted a few of her maids along the way. She did have a bit of a productive but also a tiring first week, but she was quite glad that she made friends. It’s too bad that she had to keep her identity a secret, knowing her friends by now, she’s already quite known to a lot of people which is no surprise, but lying isn’t something she initially intended to do.
Over the past years, Momo wanted to live a life like a normal teenager herself. She gets treated differently when she’s out in public whenever she just wants to do things normally rather than being surrounded by paparazzi and having pictures taken all the time.
She knew that if she studied in a normal school, she would get treated differently and she didn’t want that. That’s why at the start of high school, she would finally enroll into an actual school, but she needed to hide her identity just so she could live the life she wanted outside of the celebrity life.
Her parents understood what Momo wanted to have, which is why they helped her out and she even had to create a fake name just so people wouldn’t find suspicion on her. Momo is quite sad that her disguise isn’t as creative nor clever, but she didn’t want to put a lot of effort just to put on and off her own disguise.
She’s just lucky that some of her friends right now still don’t know who she truly is yet, but it’s still nerve-wracking to think if they secretly do.
Momo is happy though, seeing what it is like to be enrolling to a normal high school rather than being homeschooled is quite overwhelming, but some students were able to welcome her and be kind to her even without them knowing who she truly was.
This was what she wanted, to be treated like a normal person, whether she would have to experience bullying or be treated kindly, she just doesn’t want to feel too different from others especially at her age.
Momo entered her bedroom and she plopped her backpack on her bed before she laid down beside it. She felt a bit tired from school, so she just wants to gain energy before she does her homework. Even she was surprised by the written assessments she needed to do, and it was just her first week.
Her phone soon buzzed so she took it out of her pocket and checked what it was. She could see the numerous notifications coming from her new piano cover and earned quite a lot of subscribers as always.
She read through the different comments and noticed Mina’s comment. She remembered what she typed and her username. Momo was quite flattered by the compliments she said. Momo smiled and typed a reply underneath Mina’s comment.
‘Thank you so much! That means a lot :))’, she typed and soon entered it.
Momo replies to comments sometimes, it’s not always since she doesn’t have a lot of time to do so, but she does do it when she has the time.
She kept scrolling through the comments, smiling over the compliments she’s getting from a lot of people. Then, she soon found a comment coming from someone that was familiar to her. The username she saw was from Yosetsu cause she remembered that he typed a comment on her cover too.
It read, ‘Wow Yaoyorozu, your piano skills are so amazing!!! You’re so incredible too :D’
Momo blushed and replied to him, ‘Thank you! I’m glad you liked the cover <3’
