Third Person's POV

“I’m just saying!! He’s not that bad looking,” Mina said, defending her opinion when she had her friends disagreeing.

“Ashido, you’re talking about the bully who picks on us non-stop!! He’s ugly as hell for crying out loud,” Kyoka replied.

“Yeah he sucks and he’s a complete idiot but he’s annoyingly handsome and for some reason flirts with first year girls even though he hates us!! It’s not fair!!,” Mina groaned.

          Momo and her friends were calling over the phone and having themselves a “Girl Talk” while she was doing an assignment. Momo has never experienced such things like these mostly because she’s always been aware that they could happen mostly during sleepovers. Apparently any time is natural to gossip even when you’re doing homework.

Ochacko laughed, “I do get what she means though, for a handsome face, his personality and attitude is just the total opposite.”

“Agreed! That dude should at least learn when to start fixing his behavior and stop being a perv to us,” Toru added.

This made Momo intrigued and unmuted her mic and asked, “You girls have been flirted with by Kai?”

Tsuyu nodded, “Sadly, he’s probably into that ‘New is Fresh’ type of thing. It’s kinda disgusting.”

“He’s such a player too, like no one’s gonna like you if you suck that much dude,” Kyoka said in disgust.

“Oh my..I’m terribly sorry for all of you guys. I’m quite aware that Kai does that to girls when I walk around the halls and times where he would beat up other students for such terrible reasons,” Momo spoke, pointing out the things she would observe coming from the third-year bully.

Toru then replied, “Nahh there’s nothing for you to apologize for, Creati. The flirting thing doesn’t happen all the time honestly so we don’t deal with his dirty hands, but it’s still so weird.”

“I’m actually so surprised when you stood up to Kai last time! You definitely made him speechless and made him walk out like the idiot he is,” Ochacko giggled, “You’re awesome, Creati!”

Momo shyly smiled, “Thanks girls, I knew it was the right thing to do anyway. His nonsense of hurting others needs to stop though.”

Mina nodded, “It’s an agreement that everyone just wants to kick his butt, but he has his ways in ruining our lives even when we tried to get the teachers.”

“What do you mean?,” Momo raised a brow.

“Let’s just say if he gets treated badly, his actions on you are worse than before,” Ochacko explained.

“And what does that supposed to mean? That if he treats us badly, we’re told to do nothing but if we do it to him, he’ll have every right to make us miserable?,” Momo questioned, slowly feeling her blood is about to boil.

It was evident to her friends that this whole situation was making her angry. They knew her intentions well and just like everyone else, they deserve rights to be treated equally.

“It’s not simple, Creati. You know the three guys of Awase he hangs out with? They’ve tried getting Kai to be expelled for his actions towards Awase but before they could do it, Kai played victim and made the three of them expelled instead,” Kyoka sighed once she explained.

Her eyes widened in shock, “Is that why they don’t do much to stop Kai anymore?”

Tsuyu nodded, “Yup, a few first year students would try to get him expelled for his bullying but they always get the blame and would fall into Kai’s traps. Eventually, word spreads around the students and it was a rule in the first years to never mess with Kai or else it’ll jump back at you.”

“But..why didn’t Kai do that to me then?”

Toru shrugged, “Maybe because you really haven’t done much other than talk trash to his face. I think at some point he will plan on having his revenge but he’s still getting his hopes high that you’d follow his command or whatever.”

“Ew, I’d never. Especially when he’s done such horrific things to you guys, he’s cruel,” Momo said, “But it’s so surprising to see Awase like this but still looking and feeling strong. Is it because he’s experienced this so much already?”

Everyone nodded. “Awase carries that sort of struggle everyday, he makes sure to not let his family know because he wants to make sure that he’s still happy despite what’s going on in school,” Ochacko answered, “Ever since his little sister was born, he promised he’d be a good brother and also make sure that he’s happy no matter what.”

“Yeah he’s a cool guy, he doesn’t have much to offer but Awase always has a big heart and is willing to hide his problems for the sake of not ruining other people’s happiness,” Kyoka added.

          That’s what Momo loved about him from the very beginning, even when she first saw him bruised from Kai on her first day, he talked to her as if nothing happened and continued to help her and become her friend. He was kind from the very beginning and she adored it. Momo loved it.

“Speaking of Awase, I’ve been noticing that you and Awase have been close to each other lately, Creati,” Mina spoke as she formed a small smirk.

“Oh yes! He and I have always been hanging out together a lot and he’s very wonderful to be with,” Momo said as she smiled, not completely noticing the smirk on one of her friends’ faces.

“Oh so there’s something special happening between you two or?~,” Toru asked, joining in on Mina.

Momo tilted her head as she was confused, “What are you guys talking about?”

“You know what we’re talking about,” Kyoka said, “Don’t act like you don’t know it.”

“But I really don’t– Oh…OH..!! Y-You mean that? No no no he and I aren’t like that and I don’t like him like that nor does he feel the same way,” Momo nervously said, feeling flustered as her cheeks heated up.

Ochacko then questioned, “You really sure nothing going on is between you two? Cause you’re always with him and you always look so happy with him~”

“C-Cause he’s my friend. He’s the first friend I made here and I really like being with him. Plus, I don’t think he and I feel any sort of attraction with each other since we basically haven’t gotten close enough to feel anything like that,” Momo answered, trying not to feel so nervous.

Tsuyu then spoke, “I might have to go with Creati on this one. I don’t think anything like that would happen so quickly and we haven’t even gotten half way into the school year.”

“Meh, understandable. Don’t worry Creati, we’re just teasing you,” Kyoka chuckled.

          Momo understood that teasing was something her friends like to do to each other, but she couldn’t help but think of Yosetsu more after her friends teased her about her and him being close to each other and possibly liking him. She didn’t like Yosetsu like that, did she? It’s too early to confirm.

“Yeah, don’t worry about it. Awase’s friends like to tease him too and it’s quite funny to watch. I guess I know what it feels like to be in his shoes,”she chuckled.

Mina then gasped as if she remembered something. She then excitedly said, “Oh!! Girls, I forgot to tell you all. Momo Yaoyorozu herself noticed my comment and replied to it!! SHE EVEN HEARTED IT!!!”

Kyoka gasped, “Really?! I don’t believe you!”

“Hell yeah!! Let me send a screenshot of it,” Mina said as she went through her phone to find the screenshot and send it to their group chat.

Ochacko squealed, “Ashido if what you’re saying is true, you’re one of the luckiest people ever!”

“I know right?!,” Toru agreed.

Momo couldn’t help but let out a small giggle, happy to see her friends getting all excited just because of her celebrity self. It warmed her heart.
