One Year Later

George- We let the civilians out as soon as the air cleared and were positive that the cure worked.

Nick- One year, Vivian was so adamant about keeping the purists just to be on the safe side while the outside world rebuilt itself.

Rick- It's been exactly one year to the day and I'm putting my foot down. "They are leaving."

Vivian- "No, we need them."

Rick- As the woman's superior I was very unhappy with her at the moment.

Vivian- "What if we send them to..."

Rick- "Absolutely not, they are going home and that is final. Nick, send them out."

Nick- "Yes sir."

Vivian- (Screams) I stomp off to my office.

Nick- Ignoring the others tantrum, I go to collect the purists. "You all are finally going home."

Joey- "Really?"

Casey- We all look at the man skeptically.

Joe- I pick up Lana, sitting the giggling girl on my hip.

Bessy- I carry Remo. "Really, a year later?"

Nick- "Well you would have left sooner, but Vivian was adamant."

Brian- I wrapped my arm around Sal's waist.

Sal- We follow the guy to a door we've never been to.

Nick- Unlocking the door, I open it and lead them through the new surface facility. "Welcome to the new face of the Brooklyn, New York CDC."

Casey, Joe, Bessy, James, Brian, Sal and Joey- We look around in wonder. "Whoa."

Nick- (Chuckles) "I know it's probably unethical on our part, but we looked into your lives before the whole Zombie Apocalypse and to repay you we personally rebuilt your homes from the ground up and had them fully refurbished." I hand them all a set of keys. "Mr. and Mrs. Gatto the only thing we could not do was save all your fur babies. In retribution for the children you will find they have a new family pet, her name is Zeta."

Bessy- (Smiles Brightly) "Thank you."

Joe- I give my wife a kiss on the cheek.

Nick- Turning to James next. "You didn't have any house pets, but out of immense guilt for what has happened you now have a pet ferret; her name is Pepper."

James- (Smiles and Chuckles) "Thank you."

Joe- "Dude, the irony of having a pet ferret." (Laughs)

James- "Shut up Joe!"

Sal and Brian- (Laughs)

Nick- Looking to Casey next. "I personally helped your wife with a very big project, she wanted me to give this to you." I hand Casey the teddy bear.

Casey- I take the pink colored teddy bear and open the attached note;

'Casey,

I'm sorry you had to learn it this way and wish you could have been here with me through the process, but I completely understand why you had to be away.

I love you and so does our daughter Amberly Fay Jost.'

I wipe away the tears looking at the pictures;

"I've got a daughter and she's so fucking beautiful!" I show them the pictures.

Bessy- (Smiles Brightly) "Congratulations Casey."

Joe- "Congrats man, she's gorgeous!"

James- (Smiles) "Beautiful dude, just like her mamma."

Brian- (Whistles) "Gonna be a heart breaker."

Sal- "Congratulations Casey."

Joey- (Smiles) "Welcome to fatherhood man."

Casey- I'm a daddy; I couldn't believe it.

Nick- I turn to Joey next. "Rick and I spent quiet a bit of time, personally helping your family. Your wife wanted me to give this to you." I hand him the letter.

Joey- I take the letter and open it, quickly reading the contents;

'Baby,

I want to thank you. I want you to know that you did the right thing by leaving me and the girls. You and your brothers were on a mission, to save the world and you did. Our lives, our marriage would still be in utter chaos if the Apocalypse didn't destroy everything and everyone that we loved.

It taught me a very valuable lesson and that is to love and to appreciate my partner and husband.

Lots of Love Kelly, Briahna and Kloey.'

Wiping away the tears, I pocket the letter. "I needed that."

Nick- (Nods) Leaving it at that, I turn to both Brian and Sal. "We knew that you two lived together since the very beginning hence one set of keys and Brian, I'm sorry to say that we also could not save your three fur babies but in retribution you are now the daddies of three more; Sylvester, Benny and Chester."

Sal- (Groans)

Brian- (Chuckles) "Thank you Nick."

Nick- I gesture to the all black unmarked van. "Your ride gentlemen. Oh and we've been working very closely with the media and producers of Impractical Jokers...you've all been on vacation, however you want to roll with that is up to you."

Casey- (Smiles) "Thank you." We all rush to the van and climb in.

Joe- Bessy and I get comfortable with the kids.

Brian- Sal and I cuddled together.

Casey- "I can't wait to go home to my wife and daughter."

Sal- We all laugh at him.

James- Thinking about that for a moment I turn to Joey. "Dude, when you said 'I did the right thing' did you kill your wife and kids?"

Joey- Suddenly all eyes are on me. "What...wait is that what you thought I meant? Hell no!"

Brian- "Then what did you mean?" Nick said something about working with Joey's family, but no one cared to elaborate.

Joey- "What I meant was that I got out of there, I left them. I left before I was one of them, never knowing that I was actually even immune at the time and just letting them bite me could in fact turn them back."

Casey- I give him a pat on the back. "You never knew man, now you get to go home to them."

Joey- (Smiles and Nods)

3rd Person P.O.V- Ever so slowly that unidentifiable black van drove through New York taking the Impractical Jokers Home.

(Gatto House)

Driver- I pull over at the curb in front of the Gatto House. "Gatto's."

Joe- I open the door and help Bessy with Remo out, then get Lana. "Talk to you all later."

Casey, James, Brian, Sal and Joey- (Waves) "Bye." The door closes.

Driver- I pull away and continue on.

Joe- Taking Bessy by the hand we go up to the front door. (Smiles)

Bessy- I unlock the door and open it.

Joe- We walk inside as I shut the door behind us, then walk into the living room and set Lana down.

Miliana- (Squeals) "PUPPY!" I chase after the new dog.

Bessy- (Laughs) I set Remo on the floor by the toys and sit on the couch.

Joe- I sit beside my wife taking her hand. (Smiles) "Home."

Bessy- I give him a kiss. "Home."

(Jost House)

Driver- I pull up to the curb. "Jost."

Casey- I bite my bottom lip nervously.

Brian- "You got this Casey."

Sal- "Ya and if you need anything you could always call us."

James- "Though your best bet is probably Joe or Joey first."

Casey- (Chuckles) "Thanks Guys."

Joey- "We got you brother, now go see your wife and meet that princess."

Casey- I open the door and stumble out. (Waves) I quickly shut it and without a second thought run up to the front door and rush into my house.

Driver- I pull away and continue on.

Casey- Once inside, I head straight for the kitchen. "Lisa?"

Lisa- I was just making Amberly a bottle and turn around. "Casey!"

Casey- I walk up and rest my hands on her hips. "I'm home." Leaning in, I give her a passionate kiss.

Lisa- (Hums) "Welcome home, Daddy."

Casey- (Smiles Brightly) Looking from my wife to the baby in her arms. "Hey princess!" I gently take her and cradle her close, immediately taking the bottle and feeding her myself.

Lisa- I was never sure how Casey was going to take to fatherhood as he was always wild, but seeing him with our daughter now it relieved any worries I had.

Casey- (Smiles Brightly) Amberly is my world and with Lisa anywhere is home.

(Murray House)

Driver- I pull up to the curb. "Murray."

James- Opening the door I get out. "Bye guys."

Brian- (Waves)

Joey- "Peace."

Sal- "Talk to you later."

James- Shutting the door, they drive off. (Sighs)

Driver- I drive off and continue on.

James- Slowly walking up the front door, I take my time getting out the key and putting it into the lock. Going inside I shut the door and lock up. (Smiles) "Home." I take my time getting re-familiar with everything and finding Pepper in my office. (Chuckles) "Who knew, I'd be a ferret kind of guy?" Taking her out of the cage, she curled up around my neck and we stayed that way the rest of the night.

(Fatone House)

Driver- I pull up to the curb. "Fatone."

Joey- I open the door and slowly get out.

Sal- "Call us if you need anything Joey."

Joey- "I might need the couch."

Brian- "Your welcome to stay overnight anytime buddy."

Joey- (Nods) "I'll keep that in mind. See ya later."

Brian and Sal- "See ya later." The door shuts.

Driver- I pull away and continue on.

Joey- I watch them leave, then head on into the house. "Kelly? Girls?"

Briahna and Kloey- We rush into the front foyer to greet our father. "DADDY!"

Joey- I wrap my arms around Bri as I pick K up into my other arm. "My babies."

Kelly- I stand in the doorway watching. (Smiles)

Briahna- (Smiles) "Welcome home Daddy."

Kloey- (Smiles Brightly) "We missed you, never leave for so long again!"

Joey- I tighten my hold on them. "I missed you too and I'm not, I'm not going anywhere."

Kelly- "Girls, go finish your school work."

Briahna and Kloey- "Yes mommy." Letting go of our father, we rush back upstairs.

Kelly- Once the girls are upstairs, I find myself in Joey's arms clinging to him. "I love you so much."

Joey- I wrap my arms around her waist tightly. "This is home to me Kelly."

Kelly- (Smiles) "Welcome home, baby." I give him a passionate kiss.

Joey- Through that kiss, we conveyed emotions that haven't been felt in years and knew that it was a turning point to keep our relationship and marriage alive.

(Vulquinn House)

Driver- I pull up to the curb. (Smirks) "Vulquinn."

Brian- Sal and I share a confused look.

Sal- "Fan?"

Brian- (Shrugs) Opening the door, I get out then help Sal.

Sal- I take the offered help and shut the door.

Driver- The door shuts for the last time and I pull away, driving back to the facility.

Brian- I take Sal by the hand and lead him up to our house.

Sal- I unlock our door as we enter, shutting the door behind us. (Sighs Softly) "Welcome home babe."

Brian- (Smiles) "Welcome home." I give him a kiss." Walking into the kitchen I find the three fur balls. (Chuckles)

Sal- I hear Brian, walking into the kitchen myself I see the three fur balls laying on the kitchen island. "Worse than the last three."

Brian- "Oh, you still loved them and will learn to love these three."

Sal- (Rolls Eyes and Smiles) "For you, because this is my home."

Brian- Taking Sal by the hand, I slide a ring on his finger. "Forever be mine?"

Sal- (Nods) "Always." Entwining our fingers, I connect our lips.

3rd Person P.O.V- These couples have literally been to hell from; surviving the Zombie Apocalypse. Losing loved ones and fans that they eventually save. Living in an underground facility for over a year with scientists and a psycho. Re-surfacing to face a new dawn and with all new challenges. Joe and Bessy have a third child (Havana) after Miliana and Remington. Casey and Lisa have a second child (Juno) after Amberly. James marries Hannah and have their first child (Layla). Joey and Kelly worked out their marriage issues, having a third child (Hunter) after Briahna and Kloey. Brian and Sal got married adopting two little ones (Bindi and Sammy). Impractical Jokers continues on seasonally even getting screen written for a movie, they all work as actors for side things and work on other side projects. Life continues on as if a monumental life-changing Apocalypse has never happened.
