Surprise for neil- part 1

Avni's point of view:

Shit...this is the 5th time I am striking out the paper after writing the whole content. Dunno how to find what foods babies eat. Better to ask someone. But whom should I ask.

I was searching here and there to find someone and then the reality striked me.

I am all alone in the home with none around and I can't ask anyone as it's a surprise.

But I badly want to know what ever foods babies eat.

How about Google glass. It will have answer for me.

I immediately took out neil's laptop and started my search hunt.

2 hours. It took my complete 2 hours to prepare for surprise. Now let's see what Mr. Neil khanna does.

U love to tease me naa Neil. Now it's my turn. Baby and I will join in a team to tease. What say baby. U will support mumma Naa. Pakka promise.

Again  no reply from my baby. Ahhhh avni stop. Baby is too small to respond. And my thick skull is not getting it. credits to my mood swings.

Leave about Neil. Now I am acting like a complete manic. This is the effect u have on ur mamma meri jaan I said touching my belly.

Now I was no more alone in home as my baby accompanies me and u all can clearly see that I am constantly blabbing  to her. Wait how do I know it's her it can be him also right.

*ignore* I have lost my senses.

It has been 5 in evening. I packed the gift also. But Neil yet not arrived. How can I expect him so early.

But then I can't stop checking the entrance every now and then.

Having zero patience left after the clock striked 7 in evening I called dd.

Author point of view:

IN POLICE STATION:

Dd receives call and tensed as his sirji is explaining an important case and here his madamji is calling.

"Phas gaya" he murmured.

Dd mind voice: "Bhabhiji is even worst than mathaji if I  didn't take the call. So I  asked permission from Neil sir to go out and speak to which he gave * r u serious* look."

Meanwhile Neil's mind was like does he wants to interrupt Neil khanna's instruction just for a stupid phone call.

Now neil's self praising attitude was seriously damaged  when dd didn't even wait for neil's permission and rushed outside to attend the call before it gets cut as if his life is dependent on it.

"Hello bhabhiji" dd replied pacing with laboured breath as he was been rushing few minutes ago to get a mean distance from his sirji as this phone call may be for some secret enquiry.

"Dd where is ur sirji exactly now" avni asked fastly.

"Vo bhabhiji sirji is in his cabin and we are discussing about the summary of the case which is to be produced on court day after tomorrow. And trust me bhabhiji mithali mam didn't flirt with sirji today. Indeed she didn't come to the police station even." Dd spilled out everything in a single go.

Mithali is neil's new admirer. Avni found this few days ago when they went to party organised by dd for his promotion as an inspector. The way she was flirting with Neil even after clearly knowing that he is married is what bothered avni. From then she keeps an eye on mithali just out of her insecurities though she trust Neil. But the reason for the call is not mithali now. But how come the poor soul dd know that. He just did his duty.

"Dd it's not about mithali. But I want ur dcp sir to be at home within half an hour. And if ur sir fails in it then ask him to make his own arrangement for the stay outside somewhere as I am not gonna let him in even if he is late for a minute."

"But bhabhiji...the work" dd couldn't complete as avni interrupted.

"That's not my problem dd" avni said sternly as a maths teacher and cut off the call before dd could react.

Avni's point of view:

Look naa baby I am here struggling hard for surprising ur papa and there he is crying with his profession as if I don't even exist. I placed my hand in my belly. It has become my habit now and I am frequently repeating it for God knows why. But whenever I do that I feel good.

Back in station:

Neil's point of view:

Here I am struggling to complete the report while dd has not yet returned. Where has he got lost.

I came out to witness dd speaking to himself at a corner of the station.

Has he gone mad. I went near him and patted his shoulders while he turned with sudden jolt as if he has seen some sort of ghost.

"What........ u scarred me" I said still not able to understand why is he giving such a look.

"Sirji....aap" he fumbled to speak.

*strange*

"What are u doing here dd. Not in a mood to work " I asked ignoring his question.

Then dd asked me to go home soon. I was confused. Why does he want me to go home.

But then he reminded me that avni is all alone in home.

Shit. I crused myself how can I forget that today all were leaving and avni would be all alone at home.

I murmured a quick thanks to dd and got ready to rush to reach home. She was vomiting when I came to office today morning and I didn't even call her even once after that to ensure weather she is fine.

What if she was in need of me. how could u be so careless Neil. I was rebuking constantly under my breath.

No use now. I have to face lady don. She might be he'll angry with me. Have to pacify her soon.

When I reached home I saw that only dim lights on in front. Clearly showing that avni is still awake. Of course who sleeps at 8. Then also is she waiting for me. I mean there is a high chance of her being angry and my poor heart is doing nothing greater than imagining what she might do in anger.

When I entered the hall it was silent. Dead drop silent. My eyes searched for avni. Then I noticed lights on in the library room and got it that she is in Library.

Without making much noise I went to fresh up and decided to pacify her after that. If I go just like that she would give an deadly stare for again making the uniform dirty.

After coming down I felt a soft arm engulfing me from back hugging me.

*Strange*

"U came...I was waiting for u" I heard avni mumble hugging me.

I turned back to face her. She was wearing my favourite wala saree. Urffff she will be the reason for my dead one day.

"U not angry with me" I asked confused to earn a frown under her breathe.

"How unromantic" avni thought.

"Thanks for reminding. I am angry with u." She crossed her arm around her chest pretending to be angry. She is indeed very bad in lying.

She was fragile and weak even after recovery. But yet breathe taking. That's the speciality in her. Her charming smile is like ice over the cake. I just feel like....ummm control Neil. She is weak. It's not the time to perform ur ministrations. She Might get hurt. But my mind is refusing to work straight. Not after seeing her in a  ravishingly beautiful avatar.

Instead off flipping her hands in front of me to bring me out of the trace she blindfolded my eyes without any warning making me break my chain of thoughts.

"Avni what r u doing" I asked.

*no reply*

"Avni"

"Ofooo Neil. Stop it. Just listen to what I say."

This update is a filler one and actual reason for creating the story will be filled in next part.
