We are now officially allies, scholars of the truth. I lit a cigarette and gave the other one to Psyche and said:" Psyche, I must admit that this was a gamble. I in no circumstances would show someone my true let alone discuss my plan with someone I just met, but I feel like it's not random, we met for a reason so I trust you and you should the same. I shall show and explain my powers, to you and only you. I hold The Magician tarot card, I call my ability The Freak Show, the name is inspired by the horrors of the circus. The circus looks like a place made to entertain children and elders, by performers who wear silly funny costumes, but deep down most of them contain hatred and evil like the Pandora Box. My ability is mainly based on my imagination, the more my imagination is flexible the more I can be stronger. To manifest and materialize is the key to understanding my ability. Look at this cigarette, for instance, it looks like a normal cigarette but if I feel like changing its texture I can just think about it, and voilà it suddenly became a serpent. I take the serpent and put it inside the palm of my hand, I close it and when I open it the serpent would turn again into a cigarette. Do you see this symbol on my palm? The Ouroboros, means destruction and re-creation, like my ability. But I choose to use my ability in a creative scary way, I will show you later if we ever encounter another contract holder that is hostile. That is if he deserves to get beaten by my ability. I prefer to use my ability to deceive and scare people, so I would rather hide my ability, and use this katana behind my back as a decoy as if I am a sword master and my ability relies on using this katana. The sole con of this ability is that it consumes a great amount of mental power, after all, it isn't easy to materialize things out of thin air right? I still can't materialize things that are on a sky crapper or house level, who knows maybe one day I will be able to manifest and materialize Godzilla haha. So, what about you? What's your ability?"

Psyche took a puff from the cigarette then put it on the table, stood up, and tried to tear the fabric of space with her hands, as if she was opening up a package aggressively and forcing open it. There lay in front of me, a literal hole in space, it was amazing. She then turned to look at me and asked me where do I live. I gave her the correct address of my apartment, and she then took off one of her rings and threw it inside this space hole. She then sat and said:" You will find my ring inside your appartement, it is a gift for me. I hold The World tarot card, I yet didn't get the chance to name my ability as you did for yours. I started manifesting this ability way before signing the contract. As you can tell I am quite the nerd, I am obsessed with mythology and witchcraft. In the past 3 months, I learned about shifting, or quantum jumping which is a term now used to describe the act of moving one's consciousness from this current reality (CR) to one's desired reality (DR). This idea uses the multiverse theory, stating that every decision or action we make shifts us into a new reality, with every possible decision or action we could've made creating an alternate reality.  To be able to shift there are 3 steps:

-Scripting.

-Meditating.

-Choosing A Method.

What I mean by scripting is writing down in a paper what you want to be in your DR, and how you want your DR to be. It all relies on your imagination.

Meditating helps clear your mind and focus only on your DR-related thoughts, so it is a necessity.

And finally choosing a method, there are many methods but I prefer methods where you are required to sleep.

After trying to shift for a week, I was able to do it, it's honestly like lucid dreams or astral projection but with a different concept. I have mastered all these 3 things, Lucid dream, astral projection, and shifting, and become an expert in them. It was mind-draining to the point I was fainting sometimes while doing house chores or while working. I think these things I learned are the essence of why I developed this space/realm travel ability. Like your ability, it has infinite potential, and like your ability, it requires quite the mental energy."

I played like I was surprised but I already knew about her ability. I looked at her in awe and said:" Impressive, very nice. I am well informed about the 3 things your practice, especially lucid dreaming, which came to me naturally. I always used to do whatever the hell I wanted in my dreams and always could differentiate the real world from the dream. I think it would be fit to call your ability "Alice In Wonderland" because shifting is very similar to it, going down the rabbit hole to another unknown realm or simply traveling in our realm. Now, do not tell ANYONE about your ability, other contract holders could be hostile and dangerous, and if they do learn how your ability works, they can think of ways to counter it and kill you. When we will meet others, and if some of them intend to join our cause, You shall only tell them that your ability is only a teleporting ability of the sort, and I shall tell them that I am a mere swordsman who can cut things at an enormous speed. The same thing goes for our identities, we don't know when this Carrington event will end, so if someone knows who is, they can just share it on the internet when the event ends, if, of course, it ends. So, there are 2 rules, hide your face, and lie about your ability, okay?"

She nodded her head in agreement and I then said:" Good girl, now while we still have time, let's finish our drinks and discuss our plans or at least give our thoughts a shape..."
