Once Izuku got to school, he and his other classmates went to an arena somewhere in the campus. Once he arrived, he went to his class and waited for the festival to start. Once it did, the pro-hero Midnight appeared. Then she introduced herself and explained a bit about the Sports Festival. Then she called Bakugo and Izuku to the stage to give a speech. Bakugo simply said that he'll be number one while Izuku wished everyone good luck and ended it with a plus ultra. Soon, Midnight went back on stage and activated a roulette wheel to chose the first event.

"And the first event will be..." Midnight said. "An obstacle course!" Then she began to explain the rules. Once she finished, all the participating students went to the starting gate.

Izuku met up with Uraraka at the back of the crowd. Before they could talk, Midnight shouted "GO!!" causing the gate to open. The crowd was too dense to get through.

"How are we supposed to get through that?" Uraraka asked Izuku.

Suddenly, Izuku picked her up bridal style and jumped over the crowd and began wall jumping over their heads. After about 57 seconds, they arrived outside the tunnel. Izuku laid her down gently.

"Your welcome." He said before running full speed ahead. He arrived at the robot section where Todoroki was making quick work with the 0pt robots. Using quick thinking, Izuku picked up a large piece of metal from one of the trashed androids and tied a piece of rope around it. Then he rushed ahead again, arriving at the second section.

He jumped as high and far as he can. Once he landed, he jumped again. He kept on jumping and jumping until he reached the final obstacle, the mine field. He then tested how much power the mines have by picking up a rock and throwing it on top of a mine. Once it exploded, an idea popped up in his head. He then began digging up a large amount of mines. This took a while causing a lot of people to pass him. Once he dug up enough mines, he repositioned the metal he was holding and ran and jumped, landing metal first on the mines, blasting himself up in the air, sending him straight over Todoroki and Bakugo, putting him in first place. Then, he began to lose speed. Once Bakugo and Todoroki caught up to him, he repositioned his body midair and placed his feet over both of their shoulders and smashed the metal to the ground, triggering a bunch of mines, blasting him forward and stopping the pair in their tracks. Then he ran as fast as his feet can carry, soon arriving at the arena once more and landed in first place, causing an uproar of cheer from the crowd, with Todoroki landing in 2nd and Bakugo landing in 3rd. Then he went to the area of the stage to await the second event.
