After the exam, Izuku made a mad dash home. He was tired and wanted to get some sleep. On the apartment door was a sticky note saying that Inko will be gone for a few days with her old high school friends. He found the spare key in its normal hiding place and opened the door. Closed it, and locked it. Then he went to his bedroom to find a new punching bag hanging from his room's roof. It had a sticky note attached to it.

Hey kid, congrats! The materials is fire proof, bulletproof, and shock absorbent, so don't worry about going all out. BTW I won't be able to see you for a few weeks. I had an encounter with some thugs who were part of some big crime syndicate

Then he collapsed on his bed and took a nice long nap. When he woke up, he decided to give the bag a try. It held up surprisingly well. He could land continuous  strong strikes without worrying about the bag breaking. He practiced a special combo for the next 3 hours straight. Hours turned to days. Then, the exam results came. He opened the envelope to find a small disk. Then a hologram of All Might appeared.

"Midoriya my boy!"

"Huh, never thought you'd be a teacher in UA"

And then All Might told Midoriya how there was a hidden point system and how he ranked 2nd in the entire exam.

"Welcome, to your hero academia"

A tear formed in Izuku's eye, but it never dropped. "I did it"
