He woke up in a hospital bed covered with bandages and a light headache. He got up from his bed and disconnected himself from any machines in the room. Luckily, he was wearing his hero outfit and not a hospital gown. He then went to the door and looked through the small window to see if anyone was around. He only saw a nurse walking by. He pulled out his wallet from one of his pockets and laid won a certain amount of money on the bedside table. Then he looked at the window on the wall. He took a running start and jumped through it, smashing the glass and falling from the fifth floor. He landed and rolled, then he ran across the street and cut through three alleys, then he walked through the street like a normal person.

"Where did the patient go!?" Asked the nurse as he entered the room to see a broken window and an empty bed. He looked out the window but he couldn't see him. Then he noticed the money on the bedside table and saw a note beside it.

The nurse let out a sigh and walked out. He had to spread word about the missing patient.

Meanwhile, Carlos was making his way to the train station, hoping to find a train going to Saitama, but instead he boarded one going to Hosu. 'I need to take a break away from people' he thought to himself. He then sat down and waited for his stop. Once the train arrived, he got out and rented a small apartment somewhere near the station. He went in and closed the door behind him, making sure to lock it before heading to the bathroom to freshen up. He then went to his bed and turned on the TV, putting it on the news. He then saw that the hospital has reported him as missing. He shut it off and went to sleep.

'Maybe I should retire from this hero work' was the last thing the was on his head before drifting away to sleep.
