Flustered

Blueberry's P.O.V

"Blue, help." Ink said.

I looked at the seat behind me, where Ink was sitting. Error had fallen asleep, his head leaning against Ink's shoulder. Ink was blushing madly, completely frozen in place.

"I don't think I can help you without waking him up." I said, smiling at the scene.

"Blue, please, if I move he'll wake up!" Ink half-whispered.

I snickered. "Sorry Inky."

Error groaned in his sleep and moved closer to Ink. Ink's blush only grow brighter. For the past two days after that big mutant attacked us, he had been randomly falling asleep. Sometimes while standing. It seemed the fight had taken a lot of his energy and he was struggling to get it back. Ink's been staying close to make sure he doesn't get himself hurt, and now the inevitable had happened.

"How do skeletons eat without a stomach?" Asy asked, climbing on top of Ink's seat.

"The food we eat is made of magic. Our body will absorb it completely and the energy it stored in our souls." I explained.

"Ooh, OK!" Then he was off again.

He's so adorable sometimes. I glanced around the bus at everyone. The couples were sitting together. Sci and Fell were cuddling in the seats directly behind Ink and Error. Horror and Lust were probably making out somewhere, hidden from my eye lights. Cross and Dream were up the front, they got together about an hour ago and had since fallen asleep in each other's arms. I don't think Reaper and Geno have officially been announced lovers yet, but they're sitting together and getting along much better then they ever have, so I'm considering them lovers-in-progress. Everyone else was scattered around the bus, watching the scenery go by.

Ink tried to carefully push Error off of him, but Error just pulled him into a tight hug. I giggled.

"Blue, why?"

"Cause you two are cute together."

If it was possible, Ink's blush would've grown even brighter. But I think he may of reached his limit.

"You get flustered so easily, Inky." I teased.

"I-I'm not flustered!" Ink lied.

"Everyone can hear you two." Dust said, walking up to us.

"Hi, Dust!" I chirped.

Dust smiled softly at me. "Hey Baby Blue."

I blushed at the nickname and smiled happily at him.

"You look like you're having fun." Dust said, looking over at Ink and Error.

"Shush you!" Ink yelled.

Dust chuckled and looked back at me. "Mind if I sit down with you?"

"Not at all!" I patted the seat next to me.

Dust happily obliged.

"It's been pretty quiet the last couple days, hasn't it? Not one sign of zombies."

"Yep. It's probably because we're at the edge of a cliff." I replied.

"FC seems pretty nervous about it."

"Well, maybe she's afraid of heights. I wouldn't blame her."

Dust raised his non-existent eyebrow. "Are you afraid of heights?"

"Only a little."

I saw Asy's head poke up over Dust's lap.

"When monsters die, they turn into dust, right?" He asked.

I nodded. "Yep."

"So calling a monster Dust is like calling a human Corpse."

Dust laughed nervously. "Well, uh, I suppose my parents just hated me, am I right?"

"No, he was given that name because he was covered in dust when he arrived at the arena!" Reaper called out.

"So you're not really called Dust?" I asked.

Dust shook his head.

"What's your real name, then?"

Dust scratched his neck nervously. "Well...I don't really remember."

"The voices say I am broken." Asy said. "They say you were broken, too."

Dust didn't seem to know what Asy was talking about. I didn't either.

"Bluuue help meee!" Ink said once again.

I looked back at Ink. Now Error had fallen on Ink completely, laying on top of him. Ink was completely flustered. Dust chuckled.

"I think Error had fallen for you, Ink."

I threw my hands in the air. "A pun! Really!"

"What's wrong? Not a fan of puns?"

"They're the lowest form of humour! They're not funny!"

"Well, that's not what Asy thinks."

I looked over at Asy, who was giggling to himself on the floor.

"I think puns are funny too!" FC called out from the front.

I huffed. "Ok, fine. Maybe they're a little funny."

"Why do you hate puns?" Asy asked.

"Well...I don't hate them, per say. It's just that my brother always said them too-"

I stopped myself. Looking down sadly. My brother always loved puns, he was the best at telling them. No matter how unfunny the pun was, he knew the perfect way of saying it. They always made us laugh. He said them too much though. Dust saw that I was upset and opened his arms out, offering a hug.

"Com'ere, Baby Blue."

I smiled and accepted the hug. His embrace was strong, but not too tight. Nice and comforting. I hummed softly and nuzzled his chest.

"Mr Ink isn't the only one with a glowing face!" Asy commented.

I looked up at Dust. His face was hot with blush.

"What's wrong?" I asked.

"N-Nothing!" Dust said quickly.

I thought for a moment, then smiled and pecked Dust's cheekbone. His blush grew almost as bright as Ink's. I giggled.

"Heheh! You're funny when you're flustered."

Dust smiled and put his foreskull against mine.

"Aww, Mr Ink and Mr Error fell asleep together!" Asy said.

Dust and I looked over at them. They had indeed fallen asleep, cuddling each other. But that didn't last long, as the bus ran over something that made it jolt harshly. Both Ink and Error fell of the seats, into the space before it. They woke up, confused at first, then realised that they had not only landed on top on one another, but also had their "lips" connecting. Both of their faces practically exploded with blush.

"Sorry about the sudden jolt. There was quite a large rock in the middle of the road that we happened to run over. Be assured that we didn't run anybody over." FC announced.

Error quickly got off of Ink. "I'm so sorry!"

Ink was too flustered to say anything. Or to move at all. Error was glitching more then usual. His eye sockets were filled with error signs and parts of his body were constantly switching between colours.

"S**t, I'm blind!" Error yelled.

Ink sat up in a sudden motion, putting his hand over his mouth. His eye lights, which were usually shown in random shapes depending on his mood, were now white little dots. Not white in a bad way, white in a rather surprised way. He looked like he was about to throw up. Which he did. He threw black paint up all over the floor.

"What the f**k?" Dust mumbled.

"S-Sorry..." Ink groaned. "I do that when I'm over excited..."

"Excited, ay?" I teased.

"S-Shut up, Blue!"

"I'm still blind!" Error yelled again.

"Then put on some glasses." Dust suggested.

"I don't know where they are!"

"Wait, you actually have glasses?"

"Yeah, but I'm too blind to find them!"

FC appeared out of nowhere, making us all jump.

"Here, have your glasses." She said, offering a pair of red glasses.

"Oh, thanks." Error took the glasses and put them on. "Geez Ink, the floor's covered in paint!"

Ink let out an embarrassed groan.

"Wait, who's driving?" I asked.

"Why, Chip, of course." FC answered.

"You're letting a tiny bird drive the bus on the side of a cliff?"

"You'd be surprised just how well he can drive."

"FC, go take the wheel back!" Error ordered. "Before that bird drives us off the mountain!"

"Ok, ok, geez."

FC went back to the front. Ink stood up, stumbling a bit and looking dazed.

"You alright?" Error asked.

"Yeah, I'm just...a little dizzy, that's all."

Ink sat. His eye lights had gone back to normal. His right light was a blue oval shape. His left was a pink swirl, showing that he was indeed still flustered. Man, you get the best moments in this group of friends. Despite everything that has happened, we could still laugh and have a good time. There was a nice atmosphere now. Happy and peaceful. That was, until, we heard someone coughing harshly up the back of the bus.
