Four Teenagers
So like, as a reader, I've always disliked it when people add in OC's to books and make them main characters, or like characters that play really important main rolls etc

---Nightmare's POV----
I hissed and struggled as they dragged me down several corridors, yelling at them to let me go.
They didn't. And eventually I gave up, letting them drag me to where they wanted.
We went through many different hallways, twisting and turning up flights of stairs and through rooms until finally we came to a stop in a rather large room on what I assumed was the top floor.
I was released, and the first thing I did was scramble over to the giant screen windows, pressing against it as I desperately scanned the streets below for any signs of Cross.
The streets were empty. No sign of him anywhere.
At the sound of a cough I growled, whipping round to look at the people who had dragged me in.
There were four of them. Two girls and two boys.
The girl that had dragged me in was tall with blond long hair kept down, messily falling over her shoulders. She had bright blue eyes and thin lips. She seemed to be wearing what looked like camo clothes, but the trousers had been ripped into short-shorts, and the shirt ended above her waist.
Stood next to her, was the boy that helped drag me in. He had black messy hair hanging slightly over his dark brown eyes, and was wearing what seemed to be a dirty panda onesie?
There was another girl, leant back against a wall eyeing me up. She was also blonde, but kept her hair back in a pony-tail. Her eyes were green. She also wore the same clothes as the other girl.
And next to her was the other boy. He had chocolate brown hair, and brown eyes to accompany. He had a yellow and black hoodie on, and long ripped trousers. He was also pointing a large gun at me.
"Who are you guys?" I growled, taking a step forwards.
The one with brown hair chuckled, walking towards me. "Well I'm Jay. This here is Magic." He pointed at the girl with her hair tied back. "That's Panda, and that's Rachie." He said, pointing at the other guy and girl. "So who are you?"
"Nightmare." I growled, eyeing them up.
The panda boy snorted. "How fitting."
I glared at him. "Same goes for you. Who the fuck wears a panda onesie in an apocalypse?"
He shrugged. "If I'm gonna die I want to do it comfortably."
"Sure..." I muttered, glancing back out of the window. "What happened to all the scientists here?"
The girl called magic snorted. "You're looking at them. We're the only ones left. Everyone else either died or got infected when a hoard of zombies managed to break in last month."
I growled, looking down. "So I guess you haven't been working on a cure then...huh?"
Jay put his gun down on a table. "Nah we have been. We think we've got one as well. But we need a test subject. We can't just go and pluck some zombie of the street either, it needs to be someone that still has some sanity left in them, you know what I mean? And uh..." He laughed dryly. "None of us four are rushing forwards to get bitten so that we could test it."
I immediately felt hope swell up inside of me. "Are you being serious?"
He tilted his head to the side. "Uh, yeah? Why, you bitten or something?"
I shook my head. "No...b-but my friend..." I trailed off. Cross was probably miles away now, either just about to loose his last bit of sanity, or already has. Then I thought back to how he was shot, gulping. Or maybe he's dead, bleeding out in an alleyway somewhere...
"Your friend?" Rachie said with a snort. "You mean that zombie you were screaming at us not to shoot?"
I growled, my tentacles twitching. "He wasn't fully gone! There was still sanity left in him and I promised him that you guys could help!"
"That's a big promise." Panda boy said. "What makes you think we'd even help you? We don't do this shit for free."
I growled, dropping my backpack along with Cross' one to the floor. "Five bottles of water, full, cans of food, a few medic supplies, bullets for pistols and revolvers, knives and three guns."
Jay stepped forwards at the mention of food. "How much food?"
I shrugged. "A few cans of baked beans, some tuna, soup, rice. Just some basic shit."
Jay glanced at the others. "We are running low on food..."
"Magic nodded. "Alright. We'll take all your stuff, and you can bring us your 'non zombie' friend. We'll assess him, and see if he's worth trying to save or not."
I growled, but nodded. "I don't know where he's gone...he ran after you guys shot him." I said, glaring at the blue eyed girl who stepped back with her hands up.
"Woah, calm down there. How was I supposed to know he wasn't fully infected?"
Panda boy leant against her slightly. "Yeah, to be honest mate, he looked extremely infected."
"Well he wasn't." I growled. Pulling out my revolver from my backpack along with some spare bullets. "He was just having another episode where the virus tried to take over him..."
"And succeeded..." Magic muttered, earning a sharp glare from me.
"Well I'm going to search for him." I muttered, walking over to the door they'd dragged me in through.
"Panda, Rachie, Go with him." Jay ordered.
They nodded, kissing each other quickly before grabbing some guns from a weapons rack, along with some barbed spears.
"Sometimes spears are better if they're close up." Rachie said, tossing one to me.
I caught it nodding as my tentacles wriggled. "I normally just stab them with these."
She laughed, walking over and poking them. "Won't be fun when they get infected though."
"I can cut one off and it will grow back..." I muttered, kicking open the door as I started to walk down the corridor, Panda boy and Rachie close by my side.
"Quick description of you're non zombie friend please." Panda boy said as he took the lead, walking down a flight of stairs.
"He's a skeleton. Black shorts with white X's on them, a black hoodie, bare foot. One eyes red and the others white and he has a small zigzag scar underneath his right eye."
They both nodded. "Shouldn't be too hard to spot then."
"Yeah..." I muttered, clenching my hands into fists as we traveled further through this maze of a hospital.
"Were you two close?" Rachie asked, humming softly as she reloaded her M4Rifle.
"Yes..." I mumbled, not making eye contact with either of them. "We are very close..."
Panda boy let out a whistle, earning a growl from me.
"Calm yourself Mr Nightmare guy. If the two of you are in some intimate relationship then the story of four teenage kids managing to cure someone's long lost zombie love then, damn. That would be pretty cool don't you think?"
Rachie giggled, agreeing with him. I just nodded stiffly. "How old are you guys anyway?"
Rachie chipped in at this point. "Well I'm seventeen, Pandy here is eighteen, magic is sixteen and Jay is nineteen."
I smirked in amusement at the frisk faced expression Panda boy gave upon being called 'Pandy'.
"Everyone shh..." He hissed, slowing down.
I blinked, looking straight on. We were here. The massive iron double doors that seemed to only be shut by a thick bar of metal that slid through the two handles.
This place has worse security than the mansion...
"Right. What's going to happen." Panda boy said. "We're gonna run out there and scope around. If after half an hour we don't find him, then he's a lost cause. Okay?"
I growled loudly before sighing defeatedly. "Okay..."
"Good."
And with that, he pulled the bar from the door and kicked them open, running out with Rachie and I close behind.
We all immediately raised our guns as we left the safety of the building, scoping around for any signs of zombies or Cross.
"Cross?!" I called, walking around near the open alleyways and peering down them.
"Quiet!" Panda boy hissed.
"No!" I growled back. "You guys shot him earlier. If he sees you he'll probably hide in fear!"
He growled but sighed. "Don't yell too loud..."
I rolled my eye, nodding as I looked around more for any signs of him. "Cross?" I called softly. "They have a cure, these guys can help you!"
No answer.
I sighed, walking around more. I was about to call out again when a scream ripped through the silence.
"ZOMBIES!!!"
I whipped around to see Rachie sprinting out of an alleyway, clinging to Panda boy as he shot back at the alleyway where zombies were pouring from like a river.
They were everywhere, streaming out from every alleyway, blocking off the way back to the hospital.
I went to run over to Rachie and Panda, but let out a yelp as something pushed me down, slamming me into the ground.
I squirmed and kicked, my eye widening as I saw the monstrous zombie above me, growling and snarling as it tried to bite and scratch my face.
I managed to kick it off, quickly scrambling to my feet to see Panda and Rachie being swarmed, their guns and spears barely keeping them back.
A snarl from behind me caused me to whip around. But I was too late. A female zombie lunged at me, slamming me down into the floor again.
I shut my eye tightly, bracing myself to feel her jaws sink into my bones.
Instead, an ear splitting screech rang out and suddenly the zombie was tackled off of me.
I sat up, dazed as I watched her screeching beneath another zombie.
It snarled, digging its hands into her throat.
She let out a strangled scream as the other one dug his fingers right in, blood spurting everywhere. And then they pulled back, ripping her throat right out.
The female zombie twitched and thrashed for a moment before going limp. And that's when the other zombie looked over at me.
I froze, everything seeming to slow down.
It was Cross.
