"Like I said to your son earlier, any information about the prosthetics we build is strictly confidential. Without the client's consent, I simply can't help you."

Five had his hands on the doctors desk, leaning forward. Klaus made a mockingly interested face from his seat. You shuffled behind Klaus, playing with your fingers.

"Well, we cant get consent if you don't give us a name," Five sneers, making his dimple pop out.

"Well, that's not my problem," the doctor said, shrugging. "Sorry. Now, there really nothing more I can do, so-"

"And what about my consent?" Everyone look at Klaus. His eyes are wide and plays with the blazer around him. Five made him change into something nicer.

"Excuse me?"
"Who gave you permission..." Klaus's voice cracks. If you hadn't been raised with him, you would've believed he was really crying. "To lay your hands... on my son?"

Honestly, a great actor.

"What," both the doctor and Five say. Your eye twitches and you take a step back, not knowing what Klaus was going to do next.

"You heard me."
"I didn't touch your son."
"Oh, really? Then how did he get that swollen lip, then?"
"He doesn't have a swollen-"

Klaus slams his fist onto Five's lip. You jump forward and hold one of Five's arms, pressing your shirt sleeve into his lip. He glares at Klaus the best he can. Five has a hand on your hip, gripping it tightly.

"You're crazy," the doctor gives a nervous smile, pointing a finger up a Klaus.
"You got no idea."

You sure the blood had stopped when you pull back, just to see Klaus look down and pull a snow globe off the desk and into his hands. Five let you step from his grip, his hands falling back to his side.

"That's so sweet," he mutters, reeling his head back and slamming it into the globe. He yells out, dropping the shattered glass. "God, that hurt!"

You gasp loudly and stare into the wound Klaus just gave himself. The blood was dripping and mixing with the water.

Panicked, the doctor reaches for the phone. He clicks a few numbers. "Security-"
Klaus is quick to grab the phone from the man's hand. "-what are you doing?"

Klaus gasps loudly, putting the phone up to his ear. "There's been an assault..." he's back to crying. "We need security, now. Schnell!"

Five just looks at Klaus, lip twitched in a way that shows mild confusion. You give a light chuckle at his exaggeration.

Once the dramatic phone call is over, Klaus's face goes blank. "Now, here's what's going to happen, Grant."

"It's...Lance."
"In about sixty seconds, two security guards are gonna burst through that door, and they're gonna see a whole lot of blood, and we're gonna tell them-," he sniffs and picks a piece of glitter from is hair. "-that you...beat the shit out of us."

T-This acting is top notch.

Five gives the doctor a simple smirk, knowing he has no other choice. You smile proudly into the back on Klaus's head.

"Jesus, you are a real sick bastard."
"Thank you."

The doctor's eyes twitch around before he stands and goes to search for the file needed.

Klaus sits on top of the counter with an expectant smile. He has one hand gripping your shoulder and the other holding him up.

Five has the opposite look. His eyebrows are furrowed and his eyes are mentally telling the guy to 'hurry up'.

"Oh, that's strange."
"What," Five demands, looking like he's on the edge of his seat. Though, he's not sitting down.

"Uh, the eye. It hasn't been purchased by the client yet."

The doctor flinches away from Klaus when he hops down and looks into the file. "What? What do you mean?"

"Well, uh, our logs say that the eye with that serial number..." he trails off, looking more and more confused by the second. "This can't be right. It hasn't even been manufactured yet."

Your eyes narrow straight into Five's.
"Where did you get the eye," you asked, voice low.

He licks his lips and heads for the door.
Or just not answer my questions like you've been doing since you got back.

"Well, this is not good," Five sighs.
"I was pretty good, right?"

You wanted to agree with Klaus but you wanted Five to explain what was going on. Why does he have the eye in the first place?

"Klaus, it doesn't matter," Five says, lips pulled into a snarl. Why was not knowing who this eye belonged to bothering him this much?

"What's the big deal with this eye, anyway," Klaus asks.
Thank you!

"There is someone out there who's going to lose an eye in the next seven days. They're gonna bring about the end of life on this Earth as we know it."

"What-" you were silenced by Five putting a hand over your mouth.

You held yourself back from biting his hand.
First, he wasn't answering your questions.
Second, he was bringing you along to places where you had no idea what was going to happen or why.
Third, now there's this 'guy' that supposedly ends the world in seven days.

What the fuck, Five?

"Yeah, I get my twenty bucks, like, now, or what?"
"Your twenty bucks," Five asked, hand still tightly over your mouth.
"Yeah, my twenty bucks."
"The apocalypse is coming, and all you think about is getting high?"

Klaus watched you rip Five's hand from your mouth and wipe your lips on your sleeve dramatically. He places his hands over his stomach. "Well, I'm also quite hungry."

"You're useless. You're all useless!"
"Five, if-" he shushed you again and sat on the steps of the prosthetic's building.

If he answered my damn questions, maybe I wouldn't be so useless.

Klaus leans into you with a hand on your shoulder. "Hey, you know, I've just now realized why you're so upset," He said, tucking his free hand into his pocket, the other making motions near your head. "You must be horny as hell!"

Five doesn't look to be listening when Klaus takes the seat next to him, leaving you to stand before the two boys.

"All those years by yourself. It's gotta screw with your head, being alone. But, look! You have Y/n-"

"I wasn't alone."

Before you could even begin pacing, you stopped at Five's words.

"Oh," you squeaked out.
Why did that hurt so bAd?

"Her name was Delores. We were together for over thirty years."

You gulped.
That's almost longer than I am old...

"Wow! Thirty years?" Klaus looked away, so he didn't see when Five grabbed your hand and spacial jumped away. "The longest I've been with someone was-"

And you were now in the backseat of a taxi.
"Don't stop, just keep going," Five said, he leaned over you to look out the window.

You did your best to move away from Five, practically melting into the seat as you pulled your hand away from his.

Is it possible to be angry AND jealous, but for different reasons?
