It starts (Frank POV)
I'm in a meeting and to be honest it's so boring that I nearly fell asleep like 5 times. And we're not even halfway through the damn thing. I work for some space thing where we study planets and crap. Honestly I hate it but it pays well so I might as well keep it. Recently my job has been kind of interesting 'cause we've been picking up some alien activity, but the meetings are still really boring. I've really been zoning out in this meeting so I'm not totally sure what we're talking about but I think the aliens are getting closer to Earth, so yeah, we might all die, fun stuff. We haven't told the public about the aliens because we don't want them to panic.
"What do you think, Frank?" one of my asshole co-workers asked. She must've noticed I was zoning out. Fuck.
"Uhh, sorry what was that, I didn't hear it?" I asked as politely as I could.
"Do you think we should tell the people about the aliens?" another one of my asshole co-workers sighed.
"Oh. Uh I think we-" I was interrupted by a loud explosion, the computer was beeping like crazy too.
"OH MY GOD, IT'S THE ALIENS!" asshole co-worker #1 shouted.
The roof caves in and a rock hits me on the head, knocking me out. I wake up, my head is pounding and it feels like it's going to explode. I sit up and I see the dead bodies of my co-workers laying on the ground. Sure I hated them, but I never wanted them to die. A whimper escapes my mouth. I attempt to stand up but fall back down in extreme pain.
"Why didn't they kill me too? It would be easier if I was dead." I wonder aloud. "To be honest I probably looked dead already and they didn't check to see if I was actually dead. Dumbasses."
I wait until the pain has subsided slightly and get up successfully this time. When I try to walk I'm really shaky so I lean on a wall. When I feel better I walk out of the buildings broken down door to a horrific sight. Bodies. Human bodies. I gag and walk in the direction with less bodies. As I'm walking I hear something from across the street. Gunshots. I see a man running towards me, being chased by aliens, but I can tell he doesn't see me because he turns. Suddenly, the adrenaline kicks in and I runs across the street and pull him into an alley, putting my hand over his mouth so he can't make any noise. The aliens run past us and thank God they don't see us. I wait until I'm sure the man has calmed down enough not to scream. I remove my hand from over his mouth and peek out of the alley in all directions.
"They're gone." I say. "By the way, I'm Frank. What's your name?"
"Gerard." He says before passing out. Luckily I catch him before he hits the ground.
I lay him flat on the ground so I can carry him properly. I pick him up bridal style and look for the nearest building that has a bed in it. I find one relatively fast and lay him down on the bed. I sit down on the edge of the bed and take the opportunity to study Gerard(in a non creepy way). He has bright red hair, a roundish face and he has no tattoos, unlike me. He is a little underweight and very pale. I suppose he's probably that pale due to the stress of having aliens chase you down a street. He's really attractive though. I notice the blankets on the bed are getting stained red under his left arm. I lift up his arm slowly to take a look and I see a bullet hole. The bullet hole is only in one side of his arm so I'm guessing the bullet got lodged in his bone. I have some experience with medical shit so I kind of know what to do. I just hope he doesn't wake up in the process. I finish removing the bullet from his bone and bandaging his arm up, which takes a few hours. I'm getting a little concerned, because he's taking while to wake up, so I decide to get some food to help keep my mind off him. I look around the kitchen of the house we're staying at and find some stuff to make a sandwich. I'll get Gerard something when he wakes up, I don't know the kind of things he likes yet. I finish my sandwich and go back to the room Gerard is in. He is moving around slightly and opens his eyes.
"Hey, you're awake!" I say.
"No, I'm Gerard, not awake." He says groggily. I laugh at his response. "Who're you?"
"Frank." I say, not bothering to mention I had said my name before he passed out.
He looks at his arm where I bandaged it and asks "Did you do this?"
"No, it was the goddamn aliens that shot you in the first place." I say sarcastically.
Gerard laughs at my comment and thanks me for taking care of his arm.
"No problem, man. I couldn't just leave you bleeding." I reply with a smile. "Do you want something to eat?"
"Sure." Gerard replied.

The rest of the story will be in Frank's POV unless I say so cause I'm too lazy to keep changing it
