The figure then disappeared into the frozen hinterland and to the camp they had set up in the tops of the trees

" so what? I mean their at-" Sapphire was cut off when they heard a gun shot being fired

They look at each and didn't think twice about going in
                              ***
Soon enough Frost Darlight and Sapphire arrived at the scene and just watched quietly, knowing exactly how Dream felt, losing everything they had ever known...

Dream sat quietly in the car, tear stained cheeks and sadness in her heart

" Dream?" Even said quietly

" I'm ok " was her reply, Even sighed and left her alone

" so who was that?" Sapphire asked with a frown

" her sister Angel, I don't know much about Dream from before the apocalypse, but the two of them would always get into arguments " Even sighed again

" well we found some bandages and some food, we'll have to leave if we wanted to survive " Darlight stated

" wait what's that?" Frost narrowed her eyes as she noticed words written on the side of one of the cars

'Prepare to Die At ouR hands, peopLe get ready to fIGHT, The Crimson Arrows will win' in red paint and a discarded spray can on the ground

" shit, these people are sadistic " Sapphire mumbled, Darlight was silent as she read over the message, a message meant for her, but no one knew that, hidden in the message

" we should leave " Darlight states as she headed back to the car, the other three behind her nodded

Frost started the engine and drove northwest, towards the beginning of the forest, that's where they were headed before they ran into Dream and Even, hoping to find a way to safety

Unaware they had a traitor in the group, the snow wasn't deep, but soon they'll have to ditch the car and go by foot

Knuckles and Blaze treated Sonic's wound to his side, they had no idea what would happen, because he had been scratched by Zombie Cream, who has been berried by the others

" how you hold up?" Knuckles asked

" light headed and in pain, but I'm pretty sure that's normal because I lost a lot of blood " Sonic winced and whimpered as vodka was put onto his wound

" someone will have to keep an eye on you, just in case " Blaze muttered quietly, Sonic nodded in understanding

" they should be back in a few days " Knuckles said, referring to Shadow, Silver and Scourge

" we'll have to tell them what happened " Blaze sighed, Sonic winced as he tried to sit up

" not so fast, you need to rest " Knuckles said as he gently pushed Sonic to lay back down

" fine " Sonic muttered, but then slowly started to drift to unconsciousness, he couldn't properly here what his companions were saying

" Sonic?" Blaze asked when she noticed that he was passing out and that his breathing got ragged

" Sonic!" Knuckles said panicked as the blue hedgehog went into unconsciousness

The two frowned, hoping these the azure hedgehog would be okay, they both sighed and kept a close eye on Sonic, hoping the three would return soon

Shadow, Silver and Scourge had found their way to a hardware store, a forward drive out the front with slabs of wood and other materials on the roof rack

" well found the car, now we need to get some extra things and maybe a pitch fork, or somethin " Scourge shrugged, Silver rolled his eyes and looked around to find an small shop across the road

" oh look, we can get food and water from there " Silver said as he pointed to the little shop, Shadow and Scourge looked and nodded

" Silver go with Scourge to the shop, I'll get what we need from here, if I'm not back in three hours don't come looking " Shadow said strictly as he looked at the younger two hedgehogs

" ok " Silver Saadi with a sigh

An hour later Scourge and Silver were pilling boxes of food, water, cosmetics and other things, turns out it was a fuel station, so they grabbed a couple of cans of deasel just in case

They waited for Shadow patiently in the car, they had killed a few crawlers, shamblers and walkers

About half an hour later, Shadow came out and started putting things on the roof rack and into the car

" lets get out of here " Shadow said as he hot wired the car, the engine rumbled to life and they drove towards the abandoned factory in the forest, hoping their friends and brother/boyfriend was still there
