Aphmau's pov

I screamed one last time for help ad that was when the door fell down. Zane glared and held his sword to my throat. I could barley see the door and I saw Garroth and Laurence standing there breathing heavily.

"Garroth, Laurence!" I was so happy to see them that I started to cry. "Damn!" Zane looked rely mad and he lifted his sword into the air. He was going to stab me!? I closed my eyes tight but then heard the sound of metal clinking together.

I slowly opened my eyes and saw Garroth had deflected the attack. Garroth managed to push Zane back and all I heard was the sound of metal. Laurence rushed up to me and unlocked the chains.

"Laurence!" After I was free from the chain I hugged him and he hugged me back. I pulled away after a few seconds and took off the amulet. "Garroth?! How is he okay?!"I'll explain later I need to help."

Laurence grabbed the hilt of his sword and ran towards Zane. Zane reflected both Garroth's and Laurence' attacks.

Garroth's pov

I blocked Zane's attack before he almost stabbed Aphmau. I knew I couldn't let that happen. I pushed with all my strength and managed to push Zane away. Laurence helped Aphmau and the joined into the battle.

My sword clashed with Zane's many times and I started to feel weak. I began growing dizzy and the pain in my chest was too unbearable I still felt the little bits of poison through my blood.

I couldn't fail to protect Aphmau now so I ignored the pain. "Ahhh!" I yelled as our swords clashed, Laurence was trying to hit Zane from behind but he was too fast. I never remembered when Zane was this fast when we were kids.

We would have sword fights with sticks and I would always beat him at it. Even though he is our enemy he was still my brother. I felt sad that he'd do this.

Laurence' pov

Zane kept blocking my attack and I looked to Garroth, he looked pained and I was doing all I could to help. Then after one final blow Zane was pushed back and he glared at us.

I then heard a large amount of metal footsteps behind us. Zane looked shocked and we turned around to see Dante with a ton of Scaleswind guards, and members of the wolf tribe.

We where saved. I didn't let it show but I was secretly celebrating in my head. Zane looked rely mad that he was trembling with anger. "Uhh fine!" I looked back at Zane and he threw down a smoke bomb.

We coughed and as soon as the smoke cleared Zane was gone.
