Aphmau's pov

Every now and then I would hear Garroth yell in pain and it was unbearable. "It's all my fault Garroth is hurt!" I covered my ears with my hands and shook my head. I was trying to hold back the tears but I couldn't.

"Ahh!" Garroth yelled in pain one more time before I stood and ran from the door. I ran to the railing of the ship and I was breathing heavy. I then felt someone's hand clap me on the shoulder.

It startled me and I looked back, it was only Katelyn. When she saw the tears rolling down my face she said "Lord Aphmau do you think that it's going to help Garroth if you cry for him?"

She sounded like she was being rude and her words shocked me. "B-but-"No buts just wait till the doctor is done and the you cry for him, you don't know if he is dead....yet?" She walked away and I looked down at my hands.

I walked back to the room and saw Laurence standing there.

Garroth's pov

I could hear voices but I couldn't make out what they were saying. I could tell I was on a ship because of the rocking from the waves. I then felt a stinging pain go through my flesh and I yelled. "Ahh!"

Everything was still a blur but I could see the same doctor who helped me before in front of me. I kept feeling a burning pain and I let out loud yells. He was stitching up my chest from Zane's sword.

"I guess the stitching broke when I was pushing myself too hard." I thought as I felt another needle go through my chest.

Laurence' pov

Garroth's eyes were slightly open but he was still unconscious. He felt cold and I couldn't bear hearing him yell out in pain so I left the room. I expected to see Aphmau but she wasn't there.

I looked around and saw her and Katelyn talking. Aphmau was crying and Katelyn said something that made her looked shocked but then Katelyn smiled. I stopped watching them and waited for Aphmau to return.

I heard footsteps and I looked up I saw Aphmau looking like she was going to burst out crying again. "Aphmau?" I stood up and held my arms out and she hugged me hurrying her face in my chest.

"Now you like me huh?"Laurence shut up or I will throw you overboard." I let out a laugh and stroked her head "Are you all right?"No.....it's my fault, all my fault." She broke down crying and I cupped her face in my hands and looked into her brown eyes.

I said as calmly as possible "None of this is your fault." And I hugged her tight.
