And another character goes to someone who wanted their character as a student. Here's just a small cameo for , since I'm trying really hard to fit everyone. I swear, I will let you know WHEN and WHEN I need characters. Not now!!!! Please, don't enter! It makes me frustrated and upset... so yeah. :P

Your Point of View:
"Oh! How fun!" Ms. Rockwell smiled, "Dancing!"
"It sure sounds like a blast, I'd say." Ms. Gallardo smiled.
"Aw! Look at how flustered you are!" Marie giggled at me, "It's like young love."
"Oh, I've seen them plenty of times." Ms. Musa chuckled, "Rest assure, they're friends. In fact, those two alongside 3 other students are like, unstoppable. They're all in a band, called The Phoenix Drop."
"A band? That sounds like fun!" Bianca clapped her hands.
"Yeah, it is. And everyone is really talented."
"What does Garroth do?" Marie asked me.
"Garroth plays the keyboard and sings background vocals." I replied, smiling, "He's really good at it."
"And what do you do in the band?"
"I'm lead singer, but Hayden also gave me this shaker, so I guess I'm also part of beat, along with Dante." I answered.
"You should see them perform, they're absolutely divine." Ms. Musa smiled, "I had the honor of listening to them, after Laurence and Dante wanted me to."
"I have a video... of us doing a song. It's not the we plan on auditioning with, though." I commented. It was One Headlight, by the Wallflowers... the one from the sleepover. I smiled at the memory, and clicked play. The girls huddled up, and Marie held the device. It ended after 3 minutes of just sitting there, and they all clapped.
"Wow," Marie said giving me back my phone, "You're all so talented!"
"Thanks."
"Your voice is simply divine." Ms. Rockwell winked, "Are you and Garroth going to sing at the wedding?"
"I don't know. We didn't talk about that." I answered, truthfully.
"That would be adorable!" Colette exclaimed.
"I'd have to talk to him about that. I'm not sure... but I do have a video where it's the guys. Garroth was lead-singer."
"I want to see it!" Marie exclaimed, giggling. I went onto YouTube, and pulled up the video. I played it, and Marie gasped. "Aw! Both of you are amazing!"
"I'd love to dance to a duet like that." Ms. Rockwell giggled.
"I'm sure Garte would appreciate it, too." Marie commented, "I think he really would."
"I'll ask in person." I smiled, "And I'll let you know what he thinks." for the rest of the party, we just relaxed, ate, and talked. It was calming, and it was pretty relaxing. Everyone was dropped off, and Marie and I were the only two left in the limo.
"Thank you for allowing me to be a bridesmaid. I didn't need that big of a role."
"The way Garroth described you, I wanted to do something special for him. Besides, he needed the extra crutch. I know he's still shaken up."
"Yeah. I just want to see him happy at the wedding. And I don't want to make him feel bad at all." I commented.
"You seem to really care about him." I chuckled, before replying,
"Yeah. He was really the first in, years to accept me, and take me in as a friend. I'm not that great with people, and just having someone like that now, it's hard to let go of."
"I get it. I'm glad Garroth has someone like you. Thanks for being there for him." I smiled, before replying,
"I don't need a thanks, but you're welcome." we reached my house, and Marie hugged me, "I may be your teacher, but I do want you to know that if anything happens to Garroth or you, know that I do care. I want to be closer than just stepmother. Make sure Garroth gets that message. I truly care about him, you know."
"I can see that. I will. It's safe with me."
"Thank you so much, (F/N). Have a great rest of your weekend. I'll see you Monday. Also, I'm excusing you and Garroth, since the wedding is nearing."
"You don't have to."
"I insist. Now, have fun!" I walked out of the limo, and Marie waved goodbye, before the door closed. I looked as the limo drove away. I smiled, before turning around. Marie did truly care, and I was going to make sure Garroth knew it.
~~Time Skip~~
The bell signaling 7th period was over rang throughout the Academy, as I walked out of Aphmau's class. Garroth was waiting by the lockers, and he smiled when he saw me.
"Hey Garroth, want to go to the library? I wanted to ask you something."
"Sure." we walked to the library, and sat down.
"I went with your mom to the picnic, and she wanted me to ask you something."
"Yeah?"
"She wanted to know if you would want to sing a duet with me for a slow dance between the bride and groom. Even the bridesmaids were ecstatic about it."
"Really? I mean, it sounds great, but what would we do?"
"Are you guys trying to find a good duet song?" a girl looked up. She had brown hair and violet eyes. "I used to do singing stuff. I have a list if you wanna check them out."
"Thank you!" I smiled.
"No problem! I'm Lila if you need anything else." she smiled, before burying herself back into her book. I took the slip of paper, and opened it up.
"I've heard of a couple of these songs before." Garroth looked at the list.
"Hmm... I've never heard of this one. Most of these are either boy-friendly or girl-friendly. I feel like it should be a song with equal amounts of both positions. I kind of want to see this one." I looked up the name, and plugged in some earbuds to my phone. I gave one to Garroth, and we plugged them in. I turned down the volume slightly, and the music started playing. "You know, I kind of like this one." I smiled, quietly humming to the tune of the chorus.
"Do you think we should sing a duet?"
"I think both your father and your stepmom would appreciate the effort."
"Yeah, that's true. I am best-man, so anything will make this better. I say we try it out sometime this week."
"Me too." the announcements went on, and Laila spoke through the speaker.
"Hello students and teacher, may I have your attention? Academy Tackle Football is cancelled today due to weather circumstances. The forecast calls for lightning and thunder. Academy Tackle Football is cancelled today... thank you." she ended. I frowned, as Garroth sighed,
"Darn it! I was kind of looking forward to that." he mumbled.
"Yeah, me too. But, I guess we could do something with the gang. Maybe we can start working on our audition song. You know, the one Hayden recommended?"
"That's true... we should probably text them. I'll try and text them on the group message." he typed on his phone, before sending it. I felt a vibrate, and opened my phone. I got it, surely they got it as well. I heard another vibrate and opened it up.
"Cool. Cadenza and I can host this one." Laurence replied. Garroth nodded, before smiling,
"So, what should do for now?"
"I'm not sure." I replied, "I guess we can just try and learn our singing parts for the Phoenix Drop song. I mean, it's not that hard, right?"
"It's surely a classic." he responded. For the remainder of the free period, we practiced our song, and it was really cool. The bell rang, signaling another end to another day. Thank goodness. Garroth and I walked out of the library, as Dante and Cadenza were walking together in the hallway.
"Hey guys!" Cadenza smiled, "Dante and I got the message."
"Thank goodness." Dante sighed.
"He fell asleep during debate." she snickered.
"Huh? Oh, yeah, I did." Dante chuckled, "Good thing she didn't catch me either, cause that would've sucked."
"You were snoring! I don't know how she didn't notice."
"Cause we sit in the back. No one cares about the back." he rolled his eyes.
"Where's Laurence?" I asked everyone. "Oh, wait, never mind!" Laurence walked up to us, and groaned.
"I hate 8th Period." Laurence growled, "Well, at least it's over now. Ready for some practicing?"
"Yeah. So, I guess we're all going to your place." Dante smiled.
"All right! Let's go then!" Cadenza giggled. I was smart enough to carpool with Garroth today, since my car was in desperate need of cleaning. We hopped in, and followed Laurence's car to his and Cadenza's house. We all hopped out, and headed inside.
"And the band is back!" Hayden yelled over the balcony. We all laughed, as he headed down the stairs. "Haven't seen you all in a while, but what the heck happened to football?"
"Cancelled cause of thunder and lightning." Dante replied.
"So, it's band practice instead?"
"You bet." Laurence smiled.
"Great. I got some sheet music printed out. The song is absolutely awesome. I also heard the guys started a YouTube channel?"
"Yeah." Garroth smiled.
"Perfect, online watchers are great supporters. But you're gonna need the whole band. So, I have an idea. Why don't you record One Headlight, and post that on the channel? Then, you'll have the whole band. And then, you can all start on working with the new song, while I post the video." Hayden explained.
"That's a perfect idea." Laurence chuckled, "Thanks Dad. All right, we're gonna need to set up."
"Set up in the studio. There are cameras installed."
"Got it." we headed down to the basement, and most of the stuff was already there, we just had to plug in a speaker. Dante and Laurence did so, as Hayden headed down the stairs.
"All right guys. I have the sheet music for One Headlight, and I also have my laptop. All the data from the SD card in the cameras will be transferred into the laptop, then, I will be edit different angles. I'm going to angle 3 cameras directly at certain people, and then 3 around." Hayden adjusted the cameras, as Cadenza and Laurence tuned up their guitars, and Dante adjusted his seat. I adjusted my mic stand, and Garroth was positioning his. Hayden was done setting up, and then he sat behind the mixer. "OK kiddos. Ready?"
"Yeah." we all replied.
"Sweet! Let's do this one last time, perfectly."
~~Time Skip~~
"Well, that was fun." Cadenza sighed, "But I'm confused on the bass part of this song." Laurence walked up to her, and moved her hand up,
"You put your hand up too high. It made it sound weird." she strummed it, and then changed chords,
"Thanks." Laurence nodded, and then Garroth was trying to figure the piano.
"So, Hayden, it starts out soft, and then as the chorus approaches, it gets more intense?"
"Correct. Also, you have no beat in the beginning, except for that piano. Whatever pace you start at, is going to affect the whole song."
"Got it." It took a while for everyone to get used to the new adjustments, but we made it work. By the time we were done with practicing for the day, Hayden was finishing up the video. He only needed to add a couple more things. We decided to cover up the instruments with the blankets, and Hayden clapped his hands, "The video's done. Wanna see it? Here, I'll put it on the TV." the cover popped up, and it was a photo of all of us, that Hayden edited to say The Phoenix Drop in a cool font. Then, we started playing. The cameras had amazing footage... some of it being me singing, and Dante drumming, then Laurence rocking, and Cadenza and Garroth playing. Then, the drop came, and it had a full view of everyone, and Garroth was singing background vocals. We looked amazing. At least, I thought we did. Hayden uploaded the video, and that was the day The Phoenix Drop had placed their music on the internet, for everyone to see.
"Wait a minute... there's a list for auditions. Dante and I entered on Ms. Musa's website, but it looks like they are quite a few bands." Laurence looked on his phone.
"Who's our competition?" I asked them.
"I can find out. Here we go, our first competition is a band called My Mod Mod World, there's a band called Fly By 5, and one called the Shadow Knights. Garroth, Zane's in the Shadow Knights.
"He's in a band?"
"He's lead singer."
"Weird. Why would he do that?"
"Not sure. But by the looks of it, it might be a rock or hardcore rock band."
"Sounds like a scary name." Cadenza shivered.
"No kidding, so I guess we so have some competition, huh?" I asked them.
"They're nowhere near you guys." Hayden looked at Laurence's phone, "I think their biggest competition is you."
