Your Point of View:

   "(F/N)!" I heard someone in the hallway. I turned around to see Alexis running up to me, "Phew! Thank goodness I caught you! Did you hear about the bonfire?"
   "The what now?"
   "YAY! I CAN TELL YOU!"
   "Whoa, calm down there!" I laughed.
   "Sorry! But, Student Council wanted to give you and the rest of The Phoenix Drop a celebration for moving forward to the Land Battle. SO, they decided on doing a school-wide bonfire. It also gives those who haven't asked someone to Prom a chance to, so yeah! Do you think you're coming?"
   "I can come! I mean, it's for the band... when?"
   "At around 5:00. So that's normally after football practice. Kawaii~Chan's cafe is going to cater it, and we're going to take the time to do a bunch of cool things."
   "That sounds awesome!"
   "I think everyone else knows about it, and the school sent an email out to every parent, so yeah."
   "Yeah! I'll show up! I'll just have to let my mom know I'll be there." I replied.
   "Awesome! Oh, and congrats for winning!" she ran up, before I could say thanks. I giggled before I walked into my next class, with was Math... she could've have just told me in Science... oh well!

~~Time Skip~~

   "Logan, this is off. Can you take a look at it?" I asked him, handing him the clipboard. We worked on stretching, and then we worked on catching and throwing. "I think tomorrow we need to split. I can work with coordination, if you want to take the ones that are perfectly fine and do some scrimmage."
   "Yeah, that's good. Thanks (F/N)." he smiled. I nodded, and ran to the locker room. I got changed into my regular clothes. The bonfire said normal clothes, so that's what I did. I brought a (F/C) long shirt, and gray pants. I also put on a pair of black combat boots, and called it good. I put on my Phoenix Drop bracelet, and my watch... which I started wearing again. I grabbed my bag and left the locker room, before meeting up with everyone else.
   "So, the bonfire's for us?" Cadenza asked me.
   "That's what Alexis said. It was to celebrate our position in the Land Battle."
   "Cool!" Dante exclaimed, "We should go now!"
   "Yeah, that sounds cool!" Laurence chuckled. We all walked out, and everyone cheered when they saw us. We all laughed, and then Alexis and Levin gave us paper crowns. We put them on, and they took a picture. Everyone laughed and cheered, and I already knew this was going to be fun! We sat down, and then the bonfire started.
   "Alright! Hello everyone!" Principal Aphmau started, "So, tonight is going to be really great! Student Council has created the first ever Academy bonfire!" everyone cheered, and she giggled, "Alright! So, I think it's appropriate to go around and say what our favorite school memory has been!" we all sat down, and Alexis started, 
   "My favorite moment here at Aphmau's Academy was when we made designs with our names in Art. I think that was my favorite art project!" the circle went around, and then landed on the Phoenix Drop.
   "My favorite memory was when I scored my first touchdown." Garroth smiled, "I was so proud and felt so accomplished!"
   "My favorite memory was when I did the baking project with (F/N). We were required to use green food coloring, and white chocolate, and we made the best grasshopper bark EVER!"
   "My favorite memory was when the band and I performed a little musical thing for the drama project." Dante snickered, "It was pretty funny!"
   "My favorite memory was in Art, and we all had the same thought. We all wanted to do a name design for the band, and that was plastered all over the band van!"
   "My favorite memory..." I thought, "I think my favorite memory was when I met friends... for the first time. When we all did the performance, I just felt an instant connection, and I think that's made me feel comfortable at the Academy." the circle finished, and then Alexis stood up,
   "I think it's fair to say that WE WANT ACTION! So, Malachi, Levin and I brought a WATERMELON. We're gonna throw it in the fire, and it's gonna blow up! Whoever can find the most pieces wins a 10 dollar gift card!" everyone cheered, and they put the watermelon in. Cadenza and I hid, since we didn't feel like going for it, and it literally EXPLODED. It flew everywhere, and Dante caught a piece. Everyone scrambled for the pieces, and Vylad found the most pieces. I laughed and clapped, as Cadenza was grossed out by all the watermelon.
   "OK! That was HILARIOUS!" Alexis laughed, "But now that it's getting dark, we're going to sing some campfire songs, and perform some karaoke!" everyone clapped, and we sat down on a long log. 
   "I think if would be appropriate if The Phoenix Drop went first." Aphmau smirked.
   "OK." Dante shrugged. Kyle and Megan laughed, as they gave us instruments. Laurence and Cadenza got guitars, Dante got a simple drum, Garroth got a little xylophone, and I got a shaker. We all laughed, and then Vylad and Alexis got kazoos.
   "Wanna know what the catch is? YOU HAVE TO PICK A SONG FROM THE HAT!! Alexis laughed. I dug my hand in there, and grabbed a slip of paper. I opened it up, and it was Hello, by Adele. 
   "IT'S HELLO!" I shouted. Everyone laughed, and then Dante started banging on his drum.

~~That Moment When You Cue The Music XD~~

   By the time we were done, everyone clapped, and they all laughed while so. Hearing Alexis and Vylad using kazoos, and Garroth little makeshift keyboard was hilarious! Everyone was singing background vocals, and it was just great. We all sang to some of the most iconic songs in the weirdest way, and everyone had a blast.
   "And, we're going to top off this bonfire with a s'mores fest!" Alexis smiled, "How did you all like Kawaii~Chan's catering?" everyone cheered, and Kawaii~Chan smiled.
   "Thanks!" we all things to make s'mores, and I heated my marshmallow. I blew it out, and walked over to my station. I made my s'more, and Garroth and Laurence sat next to me. I took a bite, and sighed. This was amazing.
   "Woo-hoo! S'mores! HA HA!" Dante ran around, before taking a bite, "Mm!" We all laughed, as he sat next to us. Cadenza had gotten hers, and sat with us too, alongside Vylad.
   "This has been one of the best school gatherings I think I've ever seen." Aphmau started, "Thank you all so much for coming here, and let's give another round of applause to the band that represented our school proudly, The Phoenix Drop!" everyone clapped, and we all smiled, as we saw some of the yearbook kids taking photos. "I am especially proud!" as soon as everyone was done with s'mores, the gang piled into the cars. Garroth and Vylad were going to head home, and I carpooled with Dante. Laurence and Cadenza were also heading home. Dante looked at me, as I was still trying to get marshmallow off my mouth.
   "Wait a minute... what's with the cops nearby? They're not heading towards the school, are they?" he asked me.
   "No... they're heading towards my street... at least my neighborhood!" I exclaimed. Dante slammed on the gas petal, and we followed the cars, before I could start to hear screaming. What? 
   "Oh my gosh what is going on?" he said as he took a left behind the cop.
   "I have no idea..." I whispered. "I hope my neighbors are OK!" I panicked. We saw the police car stop, and then two figures outside. "Who... who is that?" I looked out the window. 
   "STOP AND PUT YOUR HANDS UP!" the officer shouted. There was a man in front of my house, and Dante and I parked further away.
   "Who is that?" he asked me.
   "I don't know!" I whispered, "W-Why are they at my house?" I shook. 
   "Shh. If we stay in the car, we'll be fine, OK? We just have to be quiet." he sighed. He unbuckled, and I did as well. "If there is any threat, we make a mad-dash out and up the street to my house, got it?" I nodded, as we watched. Dante climbed to the back, to watch out of a closer window. We could vaguely hear what they were saying.
   "DROP THE GUN!" another officer shouted. I could hear maniacal laughing, as we continued to peak out. The guy dropped the gun, but didn't hesistate to grab another weapon. It was a knife... oh dear.
   "DROP THE WEAPON!" a third one yelled. I could see my dad and my mom at the window, and my mom had her phone. I flipped mine over, as I got a text message. It vibrated, and I mentally slapped myself. Luckily, it wasn't bright, since it was flipped around. I waited until the phone was off, and I hovered over it.
   "Sweetie, don't come here. Go with one of your friends for the night." I whispered. Dante nodded, and I turned off my phone. I could hear even more laughter, before a gun shot. I jumped, as we both ducked down. 
   "We have to get out of this car." Dante panicked 
   "Can't you turn off the lights in the car?" I asked him. 
   "If I try to unlock it, it will signal a light! We can't go noticed. It's either we risk it with a potential gun-shot, or we stay here until everyone leaves!"
   "O-OK..."
   "Get in the back. It's safer."
   "Alright." I climbed into the back, and we both huddled up. Another gun-shot, but this time it set off 2 cars, including Dante's.
   "NO!" he panicked, "QUICKLY OUT THE CAR!" we opened the door, and fell to the ground. Dante slammed the door shut, and we were getting up, before another gun-shot. I could hear glass shattering. The bullet hit a house's light near us, and a piece nearly missed me. 
   "WE NEED TO GO!" I whisper-yelled. We quickly ducked while running, before we reached a fence.
   "WE GOT A RUNNER!" an officer shouted. I could laughter coming our way, and Dante moved us into a bush. We hid under the bush, and Dante and I peaked through the leaves. The guy had a gun AND a knife. Then, someone shot him with a tranquiliser gun. He fell, and dropped the knife. It was only about 100 feet away from us. As soon as we saw nothing dangerous, we stepped out. I was probably in full-on tears, and Dante was trying to hold me back.
   "Wait... kids!" an officer walked us to us, "Did you see what happened?"
   "Only what you saw." Dante responded. "We're not armed, but I do want her and I to get home as soon as possible, if that's OK." 
   "You guys aren't wearing any jackets... just clothes. Let me check just in case, and is that your car?" he pointed to Dante's car.
   "Yes sir."
   "OK. And only the alarm went off?"
   "Due to the second gun-fire, yes. We just got back from our school's bonfire." he explained.
   "Gotcha. I had to verify that, Aphmau's Academy, right?"
   "Yes." I answered. He checked our pockets, and Dante's car.
   "OK kids, you're good to go."
   "Thank you." I smiled. He nodded, and we hopped into the car. I could hear my heart throbbing and beating so loudly, I was just in shock. 
   "(F/N), are you OK?" Dante asked me.
   "That was... a turn of events. But, we're alive, and that's all that matters." I smiled, "My heart is racing at maximum speed!"
   "Thank goodness it's a Friday... otherwise I would refuse to go to school." he laughed. "Alright, you can stay at my place. We can just chill or whatever."
   "Yeah. I doubt I can sleep at this point." I admitted.
   "I feel ya." we buckled in, and he started the car. We headed to his house, and I realized, I've never been to his house before.

   And a somewhat-interesting cliffhanger. Will Dante's secrets of mysteriousness be revealed in the next chapter? DUN DUN DUN! (and that was me trying to be like one of those super cool announcer people) XD Dante... mysterious? I mean, he's really out-going, but I mean, new adventures, am I right?
